      Every single one of their properties in ***********, ** has horrible reviews about the neglect they have experienced, mostly with copious amounts of trash, trying to charge additional fees (AFTER move-out inspection was done & deposit returned) & broken fire alarms (which is a HUGE safety issue). Maybe the company will respond to the BBB because they are doing NOTHING to improve their ****** reviews or image.

      Prepare to experience resident negligence at *************************** ********. I have been trying to get in contact with my property manager at *************************** regarding a billing discrepancy made on their end. It has been two weeks without the property manager or assistant property manager returning and source of communication. The property management team has a high turnover rate, which also shows low employee retention.

      The company is a rip-off machine and it is too bad I can't give them less than one star. Besides forcing tenants to sign an agreement to pay two months rent in case of breaking a contract, they also charge an "Unsufficient Notice Fee" if you inform them about that in less than 60 days. I lived in the apartment owned by Greystar for five months and after I lost my contract and had to move out I was charged almost three months' worth of rent. A semi-decent hotel room would cost me the same amount or less. In addition to the cost of rent, the company is also charging for everything else including the Pest Control which didn't help in my former ** apartment roaches owned the place throughout my whole entire stay. The most brazen charge was for a "valet trash" service, that no one was using anyway. The justification for that service from the rental place was "too much wildlife around the apartment complex." Like those people who suppose to collect your trash from your doorsteps wouldn't put it into the same trash container where tenants are dumping it anyway. Stay away from this company and save your sanity and frustration of dealing with the endless charges after moving out.

      ******************** is correct that the Lease Agreement clearly outlines specific terms around when you must give notice to vacate and what the penalties are for not giving appropriate notice or terminating the contract early.  ******************** gave notice on 3/29 and moved out 3/30.  The lease requires 60 days notice, and this resulted in the Insufficient Notice Fee.  Furthermore, ************************ lease agreement expired on January 4, ****, and he vacated with 9 months remaining on the agreement and therefore was assessed the Early Termination Fee.

      Despite past maintenance issues, our current concern is the safety of our community due to a noisy neighbor who frequently engages in erratic and potentially dangerous behavior. This individual has been known to make loud noises, bang objects, use hateful language (including slurs), and even throw things like water and glass? from her window.Her behavior occurs randomly throughout the day and night, and she has been observed patrolling our area. Despite our attempts to contact management multiple times over the course of several months, we have not received a resolution. As both my wife and I work from home, we are worried about the safety of our family and other families in the area. Seems Avana needs better background checks?

      Management is the worst, they do not do there jobs and have screwed me over on my rent multiple times. This place should be shut down for how bad they handle there customers. I have tried to get in contact with the managers and was told no every time. I have lived at *************** apartments in **************** for just over a year and it's the worst living experience I have ever had. I do not recommend any move into an apartment complex that is controlled by Greystar property management!

      NO SECURITY. BROKEN INTO "SECURE" STORAGE & CAR WHILE PARKED IN GARAGE IN 1 MONTH.
      This is a review for Greystar Seattle - Dexter Lake Union
      DO NOT COME LIVE HERE AT ALL UNLESS YOU LIKE YOUR STUFF GETTING STOLEN CONSTANTLY.NO SECURITY AT ALL. Do not come live here unless you like getting broken into. In our 2 months living here we have gotten our car window smashed and even got some blood smeared in our car from the break in from their "secure parking garage" that we pay $200 for and also got out (supposedly secure residence storage room) stolen out of which we pay around $50 for per month. We lost more than $1,000 worth of things from our storage that had a lock and you need a key to get into the room, we saw other people's storages had been opened and stolen out of too.
      We thought we got a good deal since we got the 6 week free special but now we understand it's because the apartments don't spend a dime in updating their security system. Have no working cameras at all so now its becoming a concern how easily could someone just break into an apartment.
      I try to give every place the benefit of the doubt since there are people that complain about anything and try to bring the ratings of apartments down but this is absolutely insane. Management seems to be very nice and such but there clearly is an issue with upper management wanting to keep these apartments insecure as hell.
      I would rate them a 0 if I could and it is so sad because we were so excited to move here and to the area but upon being here 2 months we have lost thousands of dollars in things being stolen in one month alone.
      Save yourself and do not come live here, the price is not worth it unless you want to walk away with nothing.

      The management at *********** is confrontational and devoid of customer service. During our attempt at transitioning from one unit to another, we were quoted a price without being informed that it would be changing on a daily basis and were not provided with policies and procedures regarding the transfer. Once we started asking questions and trying to gauge timelines, due to the lack of clarity provided by ***** and **** (the management team), they became confrontational, threatened to remove our preferred employer benefits, insinuated that we may not pass their approval process and ultimately took steps away from what would have been a mutually beneficial transaction. Furthermore, they expressed that the Federal Fair Housing Laws prohibited them from negotiating prices, which is the opposite of what the law states.

      If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Theyre management is horrible. The new property manager ****** is awful. She cannot get it together and is not responsible enough to be able to take care of anything. Wont respond to emails or phone calls for WEEKS AT A TIME. I have had a hole in my apartment ceiling for 5 months and cannot get anybody to do anything about it. This place is awful and I would have never signed a lease here if I could go back.

      This management is not efficient. I have lived at *************** at ********** *******, ** For more than 4 years and there are a-lot of problems with pests, especially big Rats and i had to move due to medical condition of my child because of the rats. So doctors told us to move asap, i had contacted the property and their management but they did not respond. So i moved out and now they are send me extra bills. I would not recommend any one here

      I have sewage coming up in my kitchen sink, and it makes weird sounds non stop it is disgusting. I have been complaining for MONTHS and management is no where to be found. They are never here and try to have leasing staff deal with tenants. It is a joke. This place is TRASH and management is horrendous.
