      They will not fix problems! Broken air conditioner, washing machine, and bathroom fan upon move in. ***** refrigerator, rusted out disposal, old fixtures that don't work properly. The worse is a leaky wall. I reported it 6 weeks ago and then again 7 days ago. Today they sent out a roofer but I am on the first floor! It has been a lot of water in my living room with concerns of electrical and mold. I am not sure that it will be fixed soon. Hurricane season starts tomorrow. They have not remodeled as advertised. They have put in new flooring so the apartment looks good at first sight but the bathroom has had no new fixtures but used the old **** ones and barely work properly. They have not delivered as promised on any level!

      Got evicted while waiting for rent assistance. Before my court date 6 months worth of rent was deposited into my account. That covered what I owed plus some. I was told VIA EMAIL that as long as I return the keys and let the property manager know that I would not have to go to court and the eviction would not be filed. Of course it was filed. I reached out to the attorney and was told nothing can be done because she was not notified by the apartment manager. Although I have emails from that same manager advising that it was her fault she did not reach out to the attorney due to a family emergency. I am still seeking a resolution as I have many emails of proof of our conversation.

      Inconsiderate and rude to elderly tenants. Sorry we ever signed a lease with this most uncaring and meanspirited company.

      HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. I live in Ca.
      When u move out of your apartment they take your entire deposit and ask for more money on top of that. and WILL NOT provide u with a summary of the charges. I have spoke to 2 reps on the phone ISABEL ******* & SHERI ******** and both of them were very aggressive and rude and hung up on me refusing to give me answers. I have also emailed multiple times and an entire month has gone by and i have not gotten a reply. This company is so hard to get anyone to answer the phone. Currently on the phone with greystar as I’m typing this someone answered and said just give me one minute and I’ve been on hold for 24 minutes now. I spoke to sheri conquest about 1 hour ago and she changed her story multiple times about my 500$ deposit. At first she said she sent it to me, then i said no u couldn’t have because i never provided a forwarding address then she said oh well actually we applied it towards your balance then i said where?? I have the summary of charges and the invoice and it’s not adding up then she changes her story again and said well we applied a portion of your deposit towards it. So i said okay where’s the other portion and she said i can’t talk to you anymore you’re obviously not understanding then she hung up. EVERY TIME I TALK TO SOMEONE DIFFERENT ON THE PHONE EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT STORY ABOUT MY CHARGES, INVOICES & DEPOSIT.

      If I could put 0 stars I would've never experienced such horrid living conditions 1st they moved our move in date adding over **** to moving costs 750 lost wages for husband 650 to hote movers because our boys couldn't take more time off work than 300 to stay longer than the reason was apt wasn't ready and it's not legal to move tenants in when apt not ready if they considered wat we moved into as ready ** disgusting beyond words ive never lived in such a dump in my life when we got here there was trash and spare tires at front entrance than we got inside for the 1st time I saw the u it were being charged almost **** a mo for its not ready for a dog let alone ppl the fridge was filthy drawer broken and h Jagged burner doesn't work drawer rusted dishwasher missing bottom part causing it to flood my kitchen than the ** missing shower curtain rods drywall all over not painted both ** like that urine all over floor around the toilets both ** like this the office never answers the phone or return calls or emails the property managers are just as bad none of them care about residents only about their check was lied to about amenities that have been broken for years but told just broke no gate no hottub and no pool im so beyond frustrated I have had 2 injuries due to a broken toilet seat I fell off slamming my back onto the tub right where I have a cancerous tumor if it had ruptured I would have died than my 7 yr old grandson smashed his ding ding when the toilet seat fell on him when I told manager he did nothing they need to fix all these issues the cupboards and drawers all have the covering peeling off or torn it looks awful I should have been offered a discount on my rent the 1st mo due to all these issues there's mold in the vents **** is very dangerous for someone with cancer on chemo im at my breaking point I need help I have a meeting with a lawyer tomorrow

      I lived in two Greystar properties and won't ever work with them again. No support, rude staff, grounds aren't well cared for, parking is always a nightmare.

      This review is for Sapphire Bay in Baytown TX.
      ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience and it just gets worse. Bunch of clowns are in charge of this property and they have no clue what they are doing.
      • Let’s just start with the most recent BS of all time, they’re sending residents bills for an “issue” in their system from last year. Yeah your heard it right LAST YEAR - 12 MONTHS - 365 DAYS AGO and the amount is around $65. That just show how money hungry this company is. They don’t even forgive their own mistake and make sure their residents pay the last penny. WHAT A SHAME
      • I personally rented a storage unit form them and somehow THEY forgot to add it to my lease and guess who they pointed the finger at and started sending out email blast and attaching notice on my unit? Me.
      •Management blames residents for trash piling up by the dumpster and threatening to go through the trash and find receipts to find someone to charge $20-25 (Money Hungry)
      •I personally asked management to power wash the hallways, stairs and walls a year ago because our hallway look like a hunted house(spider web and dirt) and they just recently started on finding someone to do it - I guess a year later is better than never
      •Dog **** and trash can be found all around the community
      • Gates are mostly in broken state than in operating condition. They’ve CHAINED AND LOCKED the back gate because some kid was messing with it.
      • Lounge area is locked after office is closed - the lounge which is their selling point and you pay for
      • Pool is closed on a regular basis plus you’re only allowed to have TWO GUESTS for the amount of money you pay. Also, let’s do not forget people from all around town come in to dip in the pool. Looks more like community pool
      • They mess up billing and they threaten you with eviction - true story
      I have not EVER seen any properties to be managed like this even tho I’ve lived in some shady parts of town.
      I do not recommend anyone moving here and can’t wait to **** HERE

      This is for The Burke Apts in Charleston. Friendly until time of move out. I broke my lease knowing I was responsible for fees. I called before giving written notice to get clarification on a few things. The individual I spoke with sounded irritated but everyone has bad days so I brushed it off. During that conversation, I was told the fee would be due 30 days after giving written notice. I gave notice but the fee was added to my rent invoice which was due before the lease fee. I called and was told only the rent was due… which was paid. After paying the rent, I received a late notice. I began to email instead of calling the property as a paper trail. I informed them of the late notice email I received and the response was “The late notices are automatically generated in the system on the 6th of every month which will show your entire balance. As long as "RENT" is paid you will not receive a late fee.” Okay cool, right? Wrong! I logged into the portal to pay the lease fee and the portal did not have an option to pay. I sent an email and asked them to advise. I was told they can only accept a cashier’s check. Well, my son had already left (he was there for school) and live almost 3 hours away. I emailed and explained this…told them I was coming there in five days. In the response, I was given options of having a cashier’s check sent overnight, bringing it to the office, or have a friend (yes, friend lol) drop it off. If I could not do any of those then I am obligated to complete the rest of the lease. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!

      Somewhere between the written notice and starting the email chain. I called and set up the time for the move out walk through. After setting the time up I received an email stating it wasn’t set up and available times for it. This prompted the email chain.

      I/we have been leasing an apartment from Greystar in ************ for more than four years. At one time this would have been classified as a luxury facility. There are some remaining resemblances but infrastructure maintenance has been lacking for sometime. Local management started out at least communicative and cordial. Half way through 2022 the then manager who was clearly overwhelmed with her job, but friendly, was transferred to a smaller facility. The new manager has taken the position that residents exist for her benefit and at her direction, not that her job might be to make sure the residents' needs are reasonably met and that they have a positive experience. She is rarely available in the office and when you might occasionally find her and ask a question or for help she merely says so and so will get to you and walks off. Whoever might reach out to you at sometime in the future has no authority to fix anything.Reaching out to the local corporate office meets with little or no success as they direct you back to on site management. Attempts to get a response from Greystar Corporate in **********, **** are virtually impossible. Recently and after being on hold for nearly half an hour I finally reached someone with whom I shared my problems and asking for help. I was directed back to local corporate and the circle continuesj. Based on my/our experiences I couldn't recommend a Greystar facility to any one at all....even for referral fees....even free rent because soon everyone would hate **.

      I moved out November 2022 and, despite multiple phone calls, texts, and voice mails to which no one has responded, I still haven't received my deposit/security refund.
