Curc Tucson manager Gina is a nightmare to deal with, a true joke of an executive. Foolish mistake after mistake and knowingly poor choice after poor choice, she’s created massive and growing legal/financial problems for me to manage as part of a recently-former tenant’s council. In this time ive only experienced Gina operate with willing irresponsibility, and calculated/deceitful unaccountability to guise her impotent leadership. Im still dumbfounded by the ludicrous lies she continuously tells to try and save her image and her job, even in front of her immediate boss on email. Ie. “you were never a tenant; xyz meeting never happened” etc. reiterated to the former lease-holding/paying tenant with their own meeting receipts and witnesses. These receipts including those related to Gina’s current manipulative coercion of a meeting witness (who happens to have personal ties with/stake in her). This manipulation exercised in favor of discrediting the tenant and silencing me as a member of his representation. The relentless effort she puts to veil her blatant inadequacy and negligence is really unlike anything ive experienced before. She has ultimately proven herself to be an entirely incompetent, unethical, integrity-lacking professional— rather than a true executive working in the interest of those she’s responsible to.

I'd like to share my personal experience leasing at THE CHLOE LEANDER Apartments which is currently managed by Greystar. I've been a resident for ~3 years at this community and the new manager from Greystar is not at all good tackling the resident's simple requests. Manager always tries to find an excuse and declines the request. Even though the Leasing Agent and Asst. Manager tries to provide some help, Manager involves in the middle of the conversation and declines it. I have heard the same thing happened to other residents when they try to put requests Infront of the Community Manager. I tried reaching out to Greystar and I haven't heard back from the upper management who currently takes a look at this property along with some other properties. I would definitely recommend the Greystar Management to provide training to their employees at Managerial level.
My request was just to switch the carport because the current carport is literally of no use as the hard cover on top of the carport is only half built and why should I spend some bucks when it doesn't even provide shade to my vehicles? I tried to explain the situation to the manager and she doesn't care. Instead, she pointed that I left a review on the same matter on Google and she could not do anything until I renew my lease again. Manager here is taking things personally instead of being professional.

Fraudulent Move Out Fee of $1500. Its a scam, please do not fall for the shiny paintings and downtown appeal. We maintained the apartment very clean but they charged us for carpets, paints, minor damages and every other small thing.

I would not recommend leasing at Rise.
The apartment community advertises to be a smoke free community but almost every hallway reeks of marijuana. And seeps into your apartment if you have the amazing luck of having a neighbor who smokes regularly.
If that weren’t enough, the poor maintenance staff is constantly having to clean up after animal feces around the complex, common areas and on a most recent occasion a neighbor’s door that was smothered in dog feces that reeked the entire hallway.
Most recently there was an unexpected pipe repair that left tenants without water for the entirety of full day with only less than a days notice to prepare for it. Fire alarms constantly go off… It is also not a kid friendly community as neighbors will have loud functions and altercations throughout the night.
And if you so choose to end your lease early.. please be aware of the early termination buy out fee. It will be double your rent. With no flexibility or understanding from management.
Asking for assistance or any communication from the property management staff is such a hassle. They have 10+ members on staff but no one will not respond to your emails or phone calls unless you hound them in person.
Please take it from my experience and save yourself the hassle… fairly disappointed.

This is a terrible company, beware. They hide fees and then say it was a mistake if you are lucky enough to catch it. If you complain to their main office, they retaliate against you. There is mold on all the doors in my subdivision. They are the worst and the people in upper management have no business being managers.

Had to come back and update. While the place is clean, I feel it should be illegal for rent to fluctuate $50-$100 each month, and to get billed randomly by the complex with no explanation as to why mid month. Paying for amenities I can't use isn't cool either. I don't like being stolen from or taken advantage of. I'm an English teacher. It's not like I'm rolling in the dough and can afford a rent that fluctuates. I have already made plans to move this year.

Absolutely horrible company and so sad we are stuck in 1 year lease again. My sister, niece and I lived together in Corona CA for 4 years. At move-in the leasing agent gave us a “special” to pay $30 a month instead of a deposit in full at the time of move in. Form was called “LeaseLock”, Form says Zero-Deposit Waiver but none of the 11 or so statements are initialed that say non-refundable etc, and they were not discussed. We just electronically signed the bottom of the document assuming it was a prorated type of deposit. Truth we didn’t care if we got it back, but we sure did not expect to OWE ANYTHING when we moved out, especially when LeaseLock is an insurance company. Our mom got sick and I spent and am still at my mom’s caring for her. We decided to downsize and move upstairs to a smaller unit. We paid to overlap rent so we had time to move as life is chaotic. Upon move out on Christmas Day we received a bill for $3,700. They were charging a full month’s rent upstairs because they said we did not return keys until 12/2 (not knowing we moved upstairs and have proof we did not owe rent on the unit) —- but they are thieves. After taking precious time and ruining Xmas and adding more stress, they decided we owed $460 for wear and tear and cleaning. When I inquired about the $30 a month for 4 years, sent pictures of the agreement, told them the original leasing agent had died, the new leasing agents used the old form the last two years and had no idea what it even was (email to prove it), told them that a zero deposit waiver is illegal in California as of 7/2024, that LeaseLock is insurance, they said sorry Greystar wouldn’t have it if it wasn’t legal. Pay it. No negotiation. Nothing. I am so busy with a full time job working from home and 24/7 care of my mother I cannot spend my time fighting this, but I would if I could. I will notify housing authorities because Greystar is brutal. No flexibility. We are great tenants. I paid it so it doesn’t go to collections.

Am a resident at one of their properties. Specifically, Vero, Tempe.

Ordered an expensive package delivery. Apparently the package was delivered Wednesday... I only found out because FedEx was kind enough to send me an email to let me know. Because the package was neither at my apartment or in my mailbox, I went to the leasing office the next day. They checked and found nothing. I went again today. Same story. FedEx shipping insists that the package was left with the leasing office.

Right now I'm still hoping that they will "find" my package but this has been incredibly obnoxious for someone who already has social anxiety issues. I do not like my things being stolen nor do I like having to go through some kind of personal interview with the staff at my apartment complex just to get a package that I paid for.

I have lived in THEA DTLA for over a year now and here recently for the past few months the property team has gone down.
Someone has access to our mail room and has been stealing packs and credit cards and God knows what else.
I believe this to be an inside job and the fact that they have not added cameras is even worse.
The property already had a death incident involving one of the valet workers for the building. The rent is extremely too high for all this theft happening and we have to 24/7 security which further lets me know this is an inside job
