Unethical company. I’ve spent hours of my life in the past 2 months speaking with Comcast. Changed plans remain unchanged. Promises of credits never get applied to my account. It’s truly a nightmare to get off the phone after an hour only to see that everything spoken of did not apply, only to have to call again, repeat. I didn’t realize companies could literally lie and steal. The BBB should look further into this company. It can’t be right.

I just spent over an hr and half with "customer service" our internet has been out since Sat. A tech was supposed to be here yesterday. No one ever showed. Instead of putting on as a priority today because they never showed I'm being forced to call off work so someone is here when a tech arrives. So now I'm paying for a service I'm not using and I have to call off work due to their mistake. The "manager " did absolutely nothing more than the original representative did. They refused to give me a number for the local service area or a number for the corporate office to file a complaint. How does customer service being in the Philippines ( that came straight) from the managers mouth) help me in Pennsylvania. It doesn't!

These people are shysters. They've been charging us 15 dollars extra a month for at least 18 months before I discovered it. Even though they admitted that they were wrong, they still refused to refund my money. Kept promising they would refund and promising to call back. You guessed it : 3 months had gone by, repeated phone calls to xfinity, trips to the store...no result! They should be investigated for fraud. This account is for my 93 yo dad so elderly fraud!

Their call centers are full of scam artists who try to sneak in upgraded service so that they can make a commission rather than actually trying to resolve your issues. Stay away from Comcast.

Consistantly the worst company to deal with. Comcast you'd better keep a monopoly because that's all you have. Internet down for 15 days , reported immediately, they don't seem to care.

Horribly corrupt company. This is my second review of them. Xfinity was our only option for wifi in Charleston. We had a built in modem to our apartment, so no installation or return of equipment was required. We cancelled in January, they still charged us for February. Then after HOURS on the phone they finally told us it is resolved. Come March and we get another bill in the mail! Our equipment isn't returned, so they continue to charge us. I did not know you needed a college degree to understand the concept that there is no equipment to return. Would they like us to bring in the drywall from our old apartment with the modem built in? in summary, if Xfinity is my only wifi option ever again I will put on a tin foil hat and stand outside with a wire hanger instead.

Terrible. Bait and switch. Also the advertised MBPS is nowhere near the speeds promised. Scam liars and cheats. They can change their name but they can’t change who they are!! TERRIBLE.

One of the worst companies I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Tried to cancel internet service using the website and never got a callback. Tried to use the chat bot to cancel service with a link to the schedule callback page but that gave me an error and I was unable to actually schedule it. Finally found that I could request an agent right away with billing (funny that option wasn't available when trying to cancel...) and after a couple of phone transfers finally got connected to someone in the right department. According to them they had never received my online cancellation request and they tried to lure me into a conversation about other plans that might better fit my needs which I had to politely but firmly say "no" to. At least in the end I was able to get things cancelled (but still got charged for an extra week of service since they "lost" my cancellation request and can't backdate it).
For anyone dealing with their customer retention program, remember that they are not your friend. They are following a playbook to keep you paying them. If you want to cancel, remember to be firm (but polite and not rude) and don't let them talk you into staying since that's what the agents are trained to do. Just say no, I'm not interested in staying with Comcast/Xfinity and shut down their attempt to talk you out of it before they can get into their spiel.

I just moved to Seattle, WA from New Mexico and was looking forward to having Xfinity internet because I am a prior customer there. Upon my arrival to Seattle I found out that I couldn’t get service because the previous tenant that lived in the apartment before me didn’t pay his bill before leaving. Xfinity placed a block on my unit, and required me (the new tenant) to provide proof that I wasn’t the prior tenant, in order to restore services to the unit. I provided Xfinity with proof that I was not the prior tenant on 3 different occasions within a weeks timeframe, I finally found someone to help me get the block removed and in under 24hrs the block was placed back on the unit because they decided not to accept my second documentation of residency in New Mexico. Now I’m forced to settle with poor internet service with another provider due to another’s inability to pay a bill. After this situation, I will not be working with Xfinity for the foreseeable future.

Comcast/Xfinity is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!!! Rates are terrible, it's like pulling teeth to get a live person, they shouldn't charge for using their equipment with the rates they charge and to get a service tech is beyond hard and some don't know what they are doing anyway! We live in a very rural area so we are limited to what we can get and they take advantage of that!!
