      TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Techs were in my backyard at 8pm at night. We didnt know they were there so you can imagine our surprise. They turned off our services. They came the next day and still did not come to our door. Our service remained out. The service, for the neighbor who had an issue, was fixed. This happened Saturday night. Here it is Tuesday and no one has come out to fix their issue. Customer service can't communicate with techs in the area to let them know they screw up. I have to wait until someone is available. Like wth. I have internet and mobile and I'm thinking about being done with xfinity completely. TERRIBLEEEEE! I would give a zero if I could! I would also like to add that the people in tech service are the biggest liars. They act like you dont know what you are talking about and tell you anything to get you off the phone.

      I contacted Xfinity last week to inquire about a rate increase of about $50 a month. At first, they told me they could lower our rate (about $20 less) and increase our Internet speed. They sent us a new WIFI gateway. The instructions said it would take only four minutes. It took much longer and we were without Internet during the setup.
      The next day, we got it working, but the Internet was really slow upstairs so I contacted Xfinity again for support for the xPod. While on the phone, the agent said while we were waiting, he had found a package that would save us even more money. I asked him if we would lose anything that we had already. He assured me that we would not. i said it would be fine if we did not lose anything we had already.
      Apparently he never bothered to compare what we had to what he was offering before he suggested it. It turned out he wiped out everything on our DVR. Hours and hours of programming. My family had a whole series of movies and shows stored for later. Everything was gone and it said our DVR space was full even though only a few shows that were recorded after they switched over the package. When I asked them to restore the programs, they restored the space only.
      There are a lot of questions here:
      - Why weren't we asked if it was okay to delete the programs?
      - Why wasn't the agent prompted with a warning?
      - For that matter, why did the agent have access to delete the programs?
      - When we switched from DISH to Xfinity, DISH allowed us to keep their box even after we stopped service for six to nine months so we could watch all the recorded shows before returning the box. Why didn't Xfinity even consider suggesting this before changing service?
      The reason for the call had absolutely nothing to do with our TV service. We did not install or receive any new equpment related to the TV service. The call pertained to an Internet related issue only. Why did he even bring the subject up in the first place if it was going to mess with our TV service?

      I've been without service for two days because a tree fell in my neighbors yard and took out my electricity and my internet/phone.
      I've made six calls to customer service and I still don't have any service!!
      It seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, I can never talk to someone without having to deal with a robot first and forget about talking to somebody I can understand!!
      The only reason I have this service is because I'm in a rural area.
      Why can't Comcast/Xfinity use fiber optic lines?
      I'm VERY disappointed with my service.

      Comcast/Xfinity recently raised my rates after a promotion expired. This is expected for them and their predatory, monopolistic practices. However, they then had the audacity to call me the following month, claiming they could restore the previous discount or "get as close as I can" as the person on the phone said. They then texted me the offer and instructed me to scroll to the bottom and check the boxes to accept. Upon reading the terms, they were offering me a *higher* cost plan! Infuriating. Beware their dirty tricks!

      I would not use this company because there is no customer service with it. Most of the time it is not working and the other it is weak. They do not use Verizon's 5G; that is just a sales gimmick they tell you to get you to sign up. Verizon has to lend them a small percentage of their internet connection. Big difference. The store also has a long wait. I have spent 3 days trying to get my money returned to me. The phone, online or at their stores is just a mess of a business. Spend a little more money and get yourself peace of mind and your time back.

      I HAT XFINITY!!!! They tricked me into a contract for another year. They called me and offered a discount. Of course I said great. Then a later raised the price and locked into a contract for another year. But they didn’t tell me this when we had the conversation earlier.
      Then today I called to get a 2 day extension on my past due bill of only $98 dollars. They wouldn’t give it to me. Are you kidding me. The day my contract expires. I’ll drop them and never use OR recommend them to my worst enemy. I HAT XFINITY!!!!!!!

      My Husband and I had Xfinity for our internet services. Xfinity fraudulently signed us up for Xfinity mobile and had been charging us for 8 months. When I called them to see why I was being charged and requested to a document or any sort of proof that we authorized these charges, they could not provide anything to me, because it didn't exist. Even though this was fraudulent, and illegal, they only refunded me for the last 4 charges, and told me I had to dispute the rest with my bank. So, I did that. My bank requested receipts for the charges that I was disputing, so I called Xfinity and asked for them, and after an hour of my time wasted, they informed me that they could not provide me with any receipts. Therefore, my claim with my bank was denied. I reopened my claim, and the Bank said I needed to get a document from Xfinity stating that the mobile service was cancelled due to the service being unauthorized by the customer. And again, after an hour of my time wasted, being transferred to multiple people and having to explain the situation over and over again, not only did they refuse, but they hung up on me. I will also add that every time I have called them regarding this issue, they deny that there were any charges beyond what they have refunded. and it takes 10 minutes of going back and forth until they finally admit that there were more. I will NEVER do business with them again, and I hope nobody does either.

      I have had Xfinity as my cable internet service provider for a little over 6 months at this time. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an internet company. I have experienced constant slow speeds (much slower than advertised in my plan) and constant dropouts in internet connection since the very beginning. I have attempted to contact customer service about these issues in the past. This leads to working with an AI assistant who does not address any of the problems that you need it to. After working with AI, you are lucky to get a customer service agent on the phone within about 1-2 hours. They are also no help and will just attempt to sell you one of their mobile plans as they "work through your issue" to no resolve. Following this, I scheduled an in home visit to get the service fixed. At first, we had a technician claim that he showed up to my house during the requested time, yet nobody ever showed. Finally, I scheduled another in home visit and the technician was not able to identify the issue. Now I have an extra $100 charge on my account that was not expressed to me during the scheduling process. Overall, I would not wish this internet company on anybody. If I could give them 0 stars I would just for the overall lack of care for their customers and poor internet maintenance.

      I had their internet and cable services years ago and cancelled them because the service was horrible. They proceeded to charge me for equipment that I returned. Fast forward and I tried them again, but I was unable to connect the internet. I needed them to come out. I could never get anyone on the phone. Every time I called, I was told that there was an outage in my area and there was nothing that a representative could do. I returned the equipment to their store a few days ago. Imagine my surprise when $65 was taken out of my bank account!!! I couldnt even connect the service and they took money out of my account!
