      On March 13th I called Xfinity to see about unlimited data and if I could get my gill reduced. I ended up speaking to someone from another country, he said seeing as I have been a loyal customer for a long time he could reduce my rate for the next two years as of June and that they had a promotion and I could get a new phone for free. I needed to pay him for my March bill so could I give him my checking info. I did because I called him so it's any employee of Xfinity. The check ended up being made out to Hope Franchise International. After I received the phone I called to activate it and another employee told me I would have to pay over $400.00. I told him no I will send it back as I was it would be free. My house phone was disconnected because they transfered it to my new cell phone which I had sent back. Now they are trying to have me pay $10.00 for the connection plus another $15.00 for a returned check when I don't pay with a check and is only on their records and not my credit card statement. I have driven 200 miles round trip to go to the store to resolve this and feel for all the anxiety and stress they have put me through I should get that phone for free. April bill is still charging me for the extra charges which they said will be credited to my account, we'll see. This company needs to be investigated for fraud. Clearly people who work for them are scammers. This is just a short version of everything that has happened.

      I have been trying to get them to fix an intermittent problem for a long time. The problem never gets fixed. I have logs from my modem showing my dropped connections and the last tech that came out to look at it must have told them he saw no problem because they charged me 100 dollars for the tech to come out. Even when I show the tech my modem is dropping, and how old the lines coming down my road are he still reports it as did not find anything wrong and I get charged for their internet not working. That's kind of messed up right? On top of that because they are the only high speed service in the area they are taking my promotional rate of around 100 dollars a month and moving it to 230 dollars a month JUST FOR INTERNET. I have never dealt with a company that does not care about the customer this bad in my life. I used to be a cable tech so I'm smarter than the average bear and can save logs on my modem but I can't imagine how the normal customer could defend themselves against this type of behavior. As for me I most likely am going to have to explore wi-fi hotspots because this is uncanny how bad I've been treated and how many hours I have had to be on the phone with them wasting time I need because I work from my home and I need a solid internet connection. I don't know what else I can do and I hope they can somehow fix the problem and refund me the charges but I most likely am going to have to drop them, and not because I want to but because I am forced to. Monopolies like this need to stop because when there is no competition they can treat customers this way and their hands are tied because they work from home or maybe have children schooling from home that need internet but are treated horribly by the only company that provides it. This will probably fall on deaf ears but I have no idea what else I can do.

      I am glad ! WE changed! Comcast is the worst, just not reliable. Just alone during the month of March allone, Comcast was off the air 3 days, up and on.
      So if you watch a movie, you never know if you see the end.
      But they expect you to make your monthly
      payment.
      A refund is available, at 4.29 per day, if Comcast is out of service for 24 hours . Otherwise , no refund!
      If you disconnect Comcast and you have a refund comming to you , you have to wait 30 days. Buyers beware!

      I’ve had xfinity for a couple of years now and had no problem with them until now. Over these past 3 months my internet has been lagging and not receiving the amount of mbs that I’m paying for. Called the company about it, they run speed test and they confirm an appt for me only for it to be cancelled. This is the fourth attempt in getting a technician out and don’t show up. I call the company back and they tell me it got canceled. When I ask why they don’t have an answer for me . Instead just brush it off and book another appt. Save yourself from the headache and get another service provider. They don’t care or value you here

      Xfinity is a terrible company to deal with. First, I contacted them to move my account but they wouldn't put me through to agent and kept directing me to their online form - which didn't meet my needs, which is why I was trying to speak to an agent in the first place. THEN I decided I was through trying to deal with them so I tried to cancel but GUESS WHAT? You can't talk to an agent to cancel your services either- that isn't even an option from the customer service menus. The best I could do was schedule an appointment for them to call me IN 4 DAYS because that was the next day for available appointments. I have had bad experiences with them in the past and I guess they are at least consistent - consistently bad over a decade! It's like dealing with the internet mafia: Once you get entangled with them, they never let you out!

      Stay Away From Xfinity Mobile!
      There are many gory details to the support nightmare I entered when I moved my iPhones from one bar of Verizon to Xfinity Mobile, which also provided only one bar of service. Their polite but totally uninformed 'support' agents were enormous time-wasters. Xfinity does not have actual technical support - their agents have to start chat sessions with Verizon technical support, a process slow and prone to error. I was lied to by their sales agent, who assured me that Xfinity Mobile "used all providers towers", which it does not. Personnel at the local Xfinity store admitted that they had "Class 2" coverage from Verizon towers only. This means (among other things) that in case of an emergency, Verizon users will be served first, with Xfinity users served if bandwidth is available. I still have a billing problem with them - I was charged for unused phones they acknowledged were returned. My advice is: "Stay away from Xfinity Mobile". Period.

      I got a new service installed in Feb. my first bill was $260 instead of the promotion of $50 a month I agreed to. They said I texted them to change my account and add tv and more speed at the end of Feb which is a lie. I have the txt to prove I just wanted to cancel a modem order that was shipping because I picked one up local. They would not let me go back to my original promotion even after they showed through their security team that the ungraded they made false on my account were wrong. They will not issue a refund for the overage I paid by auto payment and will not even offer a credit for the amount. I cancelled the service and they still have yet to terminate it. I was on the phone almost 5 hours today and was passed around to many different people who I would have to explain everything all over again too. Horrible company with no customer service. I am going to cancel the payment with my bank just to get the refund back.

      The worst customer service that has ever been designed if you don't have an Xfinity store around the corner that you can go and talk to you will never get through on the phone looks like this company is showing us how to have the worst customer service

      I have never been harassed more by any company than I have been by xfinity/comcast. I am lucky to live in an area where they are not the only internet provider, so I stopped using them 2 years ago. I have no ongoing services or hardware with them. When I tell you they call me constantly it’s not an exaggeration. 1 or 2 times a day. I have blocked their numbers and they just call with a new one. Asked them to stop calling and they don’t. It’s infuriating. And of course they make it almost impossible to give them “bad feedback” on any of their own websites. Shady and gross behavior.

      Xfinity, YOUR COMPANY NEEDS TO BE BOYCOTTED! YOUR COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! This review is going to be posted everywhere! You want to overcharge ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS IS ********!
      We are calling you out on how ****** your customer service is! You need to bring back American Workers not workers from other countries, tell me otherwise and I’ll call your bullshit.
      Your service, including internet service, customer service, everything needs a makeover! The fact that you want to push for technicians to call customers vs coming to customers home is ********! The fact that your security cameras are not waterproof is absolutely ridiculous. Your company not wanting to compensate till after service is horrible.
      Marking your jobs complete when no one shows up is not acceptable! Not returning your customers calls is not acceptable! If you can’t take care of your customers come collect your crap!
