I closed my Xfinity account on 4/12 because my 12-month contract expired. The representative told me the account was closed. However, my bank account was auto-drafted for $107 for month of May. I called Xfinity again on 5/12 and was told I would get a refund. But I got another auto drafted again on 5/16 for $294. Their customer service was helpless and the worst service I ever had.

      I basically paid over $400 for a service I don't even have.

I received an email stating my services would be disconnected if I didn’t call or make a payment by 5/17. I called today 5/16 to schedule a payment arrangement and they told me my services were transferred to XAP on 5/15. I said that’s impossible I received an email that said I had until the 17th with services being interrupted on the 18th. This is the second time this has happened to me. I receive a letter from Xfinity with one date and my services are interrupted beforehand and I’m stuck paying hundreds of dollars at the drop of a hat. I spent hours on the phone today and no one cared. I spoke to supervisors, managers, etc and NO ONE cared that they sent me the wrong info. One manager said not to rely on the email and to check the billing date. I questioned, ‘so you’re telling me I can’t trust the emails Xfinity sends me??’ So illogical and makes no sense. One manager - Rudolph ID#3963179 - was particularly rude. We spoke on 5/16 at approximately 5:40pm central time for 22 minutes. Xfinity is a scam with horrible customer service and no desire for customer satisfaction.

Horrible, spotty service, and when you try to ask for assistance you have to doge through automated robots to speak with a human. Have lost hours of work and almost thousands of money due to spotty service, meaning that I can't work my job.
The customer service reps when speaking on the phone say one thing (to get you off the phone) that you will make you believe they are "helping" but are only telling lies that they will not even notate, nor follow through with your request. They will tell you they will give credits and when you go to claim said credits your told that the supervisor said that it's impossible and that no rep ever said such thing, nor are there any phone calls logged. "So tough luck" their word over yours. Horrible company, horrible customer service, horrible internet. Wish I never went through them. I only hope with writing this review someone will come across it in their search and decide to NOT do xfinity.
I have had multiple visits at my home of techs stomping through my home with their dirty boots, not even fixing the problem long term, hours of chats, wasted moments just to get 75 mps of internet.
The thing that irritates me the most is the lack of honesty, if a customer states they were told something and it ends up being something the rep should not have promised, it's on the employee, not the customer. If you call make sure you record the calls because Xfinity will lie through their teeth just to get you off the call.

I was misrepresented the terms of an internet contract at the point of sale at an Xfinity comcast store location by a salesperson; last December. I was changing addresses, and the salesperson told me that if I changed my plan to the 1.2Gbps plan which included an Ipad (that I didn't want or have use for) that my monthly bill would be $75 a month. This was cheaper than my plan at the time. On three occasions and in the presence of my fiancee and mother, I asked the salesperson, "In changing to the new plan with the Ipad, that would in no way obligate me to open an account with, or incur extra charges from the mobile arm of Xfinity mobile; would it?" On three occasions she assured me it would not, and that my only charges would be the $75 a month for internet. This turned out to be untrue, and I had be incurring fees with a new account with Xfinity Mobile including 18 dollars a month for the new Ipad and 25 - 30 dollars a month for an activation of a mobile internet line for that Ipad that I hadn't asked for. While I was able to get recouped for many of the mobile line charges, I couldn't get any for the Ipad, and Xfinity would not take a refund or return for the Ipad. They now say I owe them $356.89 for the remainder of the Ipad in arrears.

I also was the victim of fraud while with Xfinity during Christmas of 2021, I did the whole fraud claims process with them and was assured it was resolved. two months ago I received a notification that my credit score had dropped. Caused me to lose a mortgage application for a home. dozens and dozens of calls and emails for being overcharged in all manner of ways have been logged over the past year with Xfinity.

Xfinity service in Port Charlotte is horrendous. For the last 2 months my internet is down for at least an hour every single day. I work from home and am going to lose my job if this doesn’t stop. When I call all I am told is I’m sorry. I will credit your account. Which has not happened. And they don’t care and cannot tell me how much longer this will be happening. All I’m told is how they are working to make service better. Really?!?! It’s been horrible for 2 months now! Get your act together! I’ve also submitted over a dozen tickets and called just as many times to have a line down in my backyard removed. It’s May and the line has been down since last September. 3 separate people have come out and looked at it and said oh it’s not me that does that. Well then WHO DOES??? It’s a dead cable line. REMOVE IT!!! This business is run horribly.

We were without internet for 4 weeks after the tornadoes. I called customer service 2-3x for over 5 hours to get the bill reduced due to no service. Twice I was promised $200 off. No dice. Corporate cancelled any deals.

Xfinity is a masterclass in hostile design. Any time you try to contact them through their app, their website, or their phone system, it's a shell game of confusing, conflicting information and misdirection intended to make accomplishing any goal besides giving them more money frustrating and difficult. Their actual internet service is somewhere between fine, and not great. Everything they do oozes sleaze. For example, when signing up, they'll say something like, "Don't worry, we'll throw in a modem for free!" which is sort of true, except that if you decline, suddenly you get a discount for not needing a modem. So the modem is not free. When calling to cancel service (because of course they won't just let you do that through their website), they force you through an extended phone system that ends with a salesperson desperately trying to keep you from cancelling. It's utterly shameless and insulting. If it weren't for the monopoly this company holds in so many places, I can't imagine they'd have any customers.

Please be aware that scammers are using "Comcast's" name and their customers service number to make auto withdrawal from your banking services. I had almost $600.00 taken out of my bank in 2 days. Called the number above and it goes directly to comcast customer service, but comcast is saying that its not their transactions and they don't see that money being posted to my account. Comcast did admit to having other customers call and complain of this but they have not sent notification to consumers and no indication of them plan to send notification of possible scam/ Privacy Breech. They have no accountability, and don't care at all for what happens to their customers money. They don't even care that scammers are using their Name and number. How does our nation let this happen? If you have auto pay or pay electronically somehow, would highly recommend you remove and/and/or tell them to delete the card number after paying your bill.

Poor customer service. Supposed to be getting local channels free. Not so. Have contacted for 2 years now with no resolution. Can’t get someone to my apartment. 2 years.
I just got billed twice this month
Thier answering machine doesn’t let you talk to a human unless you press 0 at least 2 dozen times.
Website/app makes me change password every single time I sign on. Made me do it 3 times in one day. So I stopped using it. Then they want me to go paperless!! Are you joking. I wish they would go under. They take your money but no support at all. They avoid contact with customers with their recording service. Terrible. Terrible.
