In April 0f 2023 A Rep came to my house who claimed the Solar panels would reduce the amount spent and save me alot of Money. I told her that made complete sense but did not sign up in the past because I could not afford to get into more debt and have been working on credit to refinance my house and pull equity. She assured me Momentum was different and it would indeed not impact me refinancing my home. The employee contacted her boss, as I did not feel comfortable that was the case. Her supervisor assured me that I would not have anything to worry about and I could refinance with no issues, and it was indeed not a loan. On May 27th I have a string of text message exchanges where I was pusing back and telling her I'm not comfortable since it didn't make sense that my social was needed. She stated it was soley for the purpose of making sure I could make the payments. She asked for my personal banking information ( which she never got as I then told her there was no need to have that, I would pay momentum Directly As of today. My credit score dropped. My mortgage company stated that dividen is on account and I would need to pay $51,000 before any equity on hand. Unable to purchase my vehicle to get to work, cover my son expenses. I recieved two bills now a month $580 for eversource and $266 for panels, The price of what I pay for electricity has gone up 10 %. I called momentum rep assured me this will be removed and will rectify the damages. Today when I called to follow up. They "dont have any record of what I'm talking about or who I spoke to " I asked them to remove the panels , as they are illegaly ran my credit and purchased a loan without my consent. They refused and told me that someone will call and see what they can do . This is my third attempt at resolving this and would like to know what I can do ?

Momentum Solar has been in contact with the homeowner. We did not run ****************** credit illegally, and we had a validation call with the customer where a representative confirmed the details of the sale with her.  Momentum has advised **************** that in order to to refinance her home or take equity out of her property we will need the ****1 and signed ********'s authorization. I was told that I wouldnt have to make my first Solar payment until the equipment was hooked up and turned on and that it should take about 30 days. I had to call Teco after 60 days and they got the info but not a check. I contacted the rep I had been working with and he said the check was sent . I called again and teco said the same thing no check was ready received. I once again told the rep and gave him all the info. Also advised him I now have a loan payment due also that I still had a teco bill and I cant afford both. He said to not pay teco. I advised that they told us that this whole project was to be done before now and that I was promised I wouldnt have 2 payments. They told me to email my receipt of the loan payment to them And I would get reimbursed because this was correct I shouldnt of had a payment until it was installed and operating for at least 30 days . This was back in early August. August 24 I was told that my email was being forwarded to the correct department for reimbursement. Here we are September ******************************************************************* calls. I want the loan payment of ****** refunded to me.

      8/9/2022 sales date
      $77,000.00 total for 3 homes.
Momentum Solar comitted to provide Solar Electric Generation Systems to generate 90% of our past electric capacity for the 3 homes that we have on our property.
The systems that Momentum Solar installed are only producing 15% to 30% of the capacity that we told the sales representative and her area supervisor of at the time in August 2022.
Momentum Solar has asked for 12 months of billing statements from our electric provider. We have complied. Momentum solar has not made the systems generation improve at all, they have only looked into why the Enphase Reporting System has not been reporting to them. The reporting issue was repaired in July.

Momentum has been in contact with the homeowner. We went over FEC net metering policies with Mr. ****** and we also went over the Enphase app and the production of his system. It was also explained to Mr. ***** that the production that is sent to the grid is all that his home produces because the energy that the home does not use is sent to the electric company. Mr. ***** said he understood the explanation.

There was no transaction. I was approached by a sales person/employee of BJs store in ***************, ** and asked about my possible interest in a solar generated electricity system for my home.I was then called on my phone to ask if Momentum solar people could come to my home and I said no. I am happy to talk with them on the phone .I asked that I not be called again unless it was by a qualified technician to discuss my electric bills and to quote qa price on a solar system.Since then, I have been called three times asking if they can come to my home. I want these calls to stop and I asked the last caller today to either place me on a do not call list or to let me talk with his supervisor so I can confirm that I will not be called again. The call was disconnected,

We had solar panels installed from Momentum Solar and along with it, we had them redo our roof. This included replacing 3 skylights. The roof was done Feb 2022 and the solar panels installed March 2022. The electricity on the panels was done incorrectly which started a fire, luckily it was contained in the box and did not burn our entire house done. The skylights all leaked causing water damage to our ceiling. The leak occurred September 2022. They came and put some glue on the problem to mitigate further damage but did not come to ensure it was fixed correctly until June 2023. We had to rip down our cedar ceiling and the insulation due to water damage and mold from this leak. They asked us to provide quotes to repair the damage and we obliged. The minimum quote for insulation and drywall was $4000. This does not include demo, trim, or the increase we saw in our heating bill due to not having insulation on the ceiling. They are only willing to provide $2700 and want us to sign paperwork to further excuse them from any other damage. We are trying to get a better settlement, but they are terrible at communicating. They dont answer phone calls, ignore emails, and have yet to provide me with a manager name to contact.

I submitted payment to this company around August 28th for $96.17. This company accepted the payment and then charged my debit that was saved on file again for the same amount. I have called multiple times trying to get this resolved. I want my money back. This company is NEVER to debit my account without my consent.

In Aug. '19, a rep. from Momentum Solar visited my home, spoke to my ********* sold us on the benefits of going *********************** **** agreed to install 23 solar panels at my home. During the sales pitch, he advised THAT IF a wind or hail claim ever occurred, the FIRST removal and re-installation of the 23 panels would be the companies expense, i.e. no cost to the home owner. This was Momentum's way of differentiating themselves from competitors and an incentive for us, as they wanted to earn our business. We set up financing, opened a ***** ******** were installed shortly thereafter (after permits, HOA approvals, etc. were secured). I was provided very little paper documents, only brochures talking about the benefits of solar. Most other docs, including items which needed signatures & financing documents were completed electronically or over the phone, as needed. We'd been extremely pleased with our panels, energy usage, & have paid our financing without incident for a number of years. In April '23, a heavy hail storm in ******* caused damage to my home. I called my insurance carrier, filed a claim, & called Momentum Solar to set up the free removal and reinstall. A momentum phone rep told me: I MUST produce the paperwork or certificate, which promised the free removal/reinstall. I was confident nothing had been provided in writing, but thought still - this HAS to be honored - as the representative had verbally expressed this unique benefit and the company should know about this. The phone rep said that if I came up with the certificate, they would be happy to set up the free service. If I was unable to find the doc, they would still do the service but charge me ~$5k.Looking through all my documents from the sales visit, I did not find any doc relating to the free removal/reinstall. Momentum's deceptive sales practices, including making promises that were never can be honored - should be called out. I am still replacing my roof, but must now pay for the removal/reinstall.

Momentum has been in contact with the customer. During our conversation, **************** advised that he was promised a one-time removal and reinstallation at point of sale. The customer did advise that he was unable to find any documentation regarding this sales promise. The customer then stated that due to him not receiving the service pricing in a timely manner, he had the service done by a third party. We will be following up with *************** this week to discuss a satisfactory resolution.

The company left a mess of parts on my roof and has failed to clean it up after multiple calls and complaints. The company openly admitted to over-charging civilian residencies for the cost of roofing, after trying to drastically over-charge me for mine. The company has lied multiple times about communicating my concerns. As soon as solar panels were installed, the company stopped communicating with me, they dont care that they left materials all over ******* and property. A momentum employee told me they lie and over-price any chance they get, and once they install the solar, they stop caring about the customer.

This nightmare started back in June 2022, Signed a contract to have the panels installed I also filled out a loan agreement with ****************************** I was told at signing I would receive $1400, for helping with my expenses until my solar panels get installed with installed date being in October 2022; that didn't happen so I started calling finally they should up in November and installed my panels! Then the solar tech came back in February 2023 to install the breaker box and their meter he told me once the panels and the wiring get inspected we should be good to go! We'll one inspection suppose to had taken place in May 2023 that didn't happen the next inspection suppose to have taken place in July 2023 in which a technician did show up however according to Momentum CS there is no paperwork indicating an inspection took place! OMG! this is ridiculous! I call their CS every month just to be told the same thing each time, ; they will send an email to the scheduling department, have them contact me with a date or they will have send an email to contractor/manager to have them contact me within 24 to 48 hrs, we'll know one called me yet! This is causing a hardship for me! Granted they eventually will send my payment back from the loan (this takes way more then 10 business days as they state I will receive my payments back)! I agrees to getting these panels because I was informed by their Representative they will cut cost on my electric bill tremendously! Well I have yet to find this out and at this point I don't want to find out! I want these panels off my house! This is very poor business!
