      Horrible service, horrible company. We now have the bank investigating our claims and request to remove the panels as solar momentum lied to us in multiple levels. The first lie told was that if we have were unhappy with the solar panels, if there was a lack of professionalism, or if there were damages to our home that they would remove the panels. Within 10 minutes of installation the professional workers hit the fiber line to our WiFi system. We live in a home where the WiFi is wired through the walls and this was information constantly reported to momentum prior to installation. They lied and told us that they are aware and that they will not make any damages when installing. Days later after installation we still were without WiFi and a contractor had to come out as a regular technician with Summit Broadband could not fix the damages solar momentum did. A week after installation more problems became apparent as none of our electrical outlets outside of our home work and are neighbors outdoor outlets do not work either. When we called momentum with our complaints and asked them to remove the panels they told us they could not as the bank IGF is the only ones with the authority to remove them. Called IGF and they told us that they have to investigate our claims to remove the panels as we did not reach out to them prior to the 7 day grace ******* Which by the way the sales associate never said there was a grace ******* So now Im making this customer review/complaint as my boyfriend and I want this nightmare to end. We want them to remove the panels and pay for the damages they have done to our home. We do not recommend this company to anyone as we just found out that our electric company hasnt even received an application for the solar panels from their company. We also still have not received the contract. Please if you can help us resolve this as we are dealing with false advertisement, lack of professional, and borderline fraud/scam from solar momentum.

      If I could give negative stars I would. Received a call on Tuesday morning, agreed to an appointment on Saturday. 3 hours later, I received another sales call from the same company and phone number. at that time stated i had already spoken with someone and agreed to an appointment on Saturday. 2 hours later, I received a 3rd sales call from same company and number by this time I had absolutely had it, told them to cancel my Saturday appointment as apparently they could not take YES for an answer. Needless to say, Saturday afternoon came around and the person that showed up at the door looked very unprofessional, no badge, no uniform etc. When my husband told him that we had cancelled the appointment as they messed up by harassing me with calls, salesperson refused to leave from front door. I had to threaten to call the police to get him to leave front entry, he proceeded to stand at end of driveway on phone with arms flailing for another 10 minutes. Finally got in his car and drove away. There was absolutely no way I was letting a salesperson that looked like him into my home for fear he was casing the place.

      The Momentum solar rep as nice. I had solar panels at my old address..I had to pay nothing for the panels. I now found out I have to pay 2 bills I had to give him a check for $4000 asked if I could give him more now I have to pay 2 bills one to the bank and one to solar company. The advertisement said 0 cost now I found out I have 2 payments . The solar company said that s how it goes I have 2 bills for the electricity I never had only 1 bill from old solar company it would be better in my bill I paid nothing just monthly one bill .. your secretary told me I will have to court because it is a contract Good put me in jail I will have no bills What an un professional secretary you have sincerely yours ******* was ******* he was nice the only nice one

      The Momentive solar came out in September with an agent. The agent explained about a inspection to be done on the roof. He said, once the inspection is done and the roof is in good condition. then the panels will be placed on the roof. He said the company wouldn't put panels on a bad roof. I was told the roof was in good condition, So the panels were place on the roof. After that two of the room upstairs the ceilings were leaking. I called and was told someone would get back to me. The calls became troublesome. Why, because I was told someone will call back or transfer to a different department which no one answered. I receive a nasty called from someone who claimed he was the President. He told me whoever lives upstairs climbed up and did the damage to the ceilings. The calls on my end became useless i even called them to remove the panels so i can take care of my roof. I was told they cannot do that. So, I called PSEG service asked them not to turn on the service. Of, course I had to write and send emails showing my attempts to resolve this issue.

      I cannot recommend strongly enough that you avoid Momentum Solar at all costs. The first time we met with them an otherwise productive appointment ended with a hard sell pressure tactic to sign today. The manager insisted we sign the deal and if we found a better deal, he promised to give us $1000 and let us out of the deal.A follow up appointment end up in a legitimate argument in which the representative raised his voice with me, telling me I was making a mistake by considering a small, family-owned local firm. His reasoning was that they would go out of business or owner might die and then I would have no one to turn to if I had a problem. Today, three weeks later, I received another follow up call. I asked to be removed from their system and to never be called again. They asked one last time if I was sure that I did not want to review their new proposal fresh from engineering. When I refused, they hung up on me.

      I intended to get solar in Sept 2023. At that point, I expressed I could not get solar until my roof is replaced. They still pushed forward with paperwork to start the project of getting solar by submitting a notice of commencement. They mentioned they had a roofing company connected to their company, in which I attempted to work with. They came back with numerous bids which would eventually mount up to close to $120K for a roof! I told them I was canceling the project. I never heard from the representative or anyone else from the office. Fast forward 5 months later. I was in the process of getting a HELOC and found out they never never submitted the notice of termination. I have literally been trying to contact someone to submit the paperwork to county or to provide me with an affidavit so I could do so. Close to 2 months later, I still have yet to receive any contact from someone in the building and plans department. Every time I call, I have been old **** was the only person who could help me. I have left numerous messages for **** to contact me and still nothing. My HELOC was held up because they wanted me to clear the **** I have expressed this numerous times and still have yet to hear from someone. If I could rate this company a 0, I would. They have **** poor customer service. Their customer service do not have email access and can not send me anything. All they can do is contact certain people via Text messaging. And they are literally just leaving messages, no one ever responds.

      THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!We got scammed by this company. The offer that the seller presented to us after reviewing the account statements of the electricity company that we have (SECO), let us know that our consumption was an estimated ****** kWh and he was going to install panels that would cover ****** kWh. Giving us something extra to cover any changes we had, so we accepted the offer he offered us. After the installation, we noticed that the panels were not covering anything or almost nothing of our consumption. we made several calls to address this situation The last conversation we had was that we had to wait about a year to see the benefits, which we did, we have waited a long time enough and the situation has remained the same or worse since we are paying the bill for electricity which is equal to what we consumed before the panels plus the cost of the panels causing a deficit in our budget, we contacted SECO, our electricity company, and they told us that the consumption we had before installing the panels was around ****** kWh, which was never ****** what the seller sold us. We have been trying to correct the issue with Momentum Solar and they only said that we have to pay for more panels, even that they made the error.Be very careful. Once you sign with them you are screwed!!!!

      I really hope this company goes belly up. I have never been deceived more by a sales representative in my entire life, as I have with this company. All of the important information given by the representative has turned out to be lies or misleading. This is the second time I am writing about this company and I will continue to try and warn people of the lies that they decieve consumers with. Here are the items I was deceived about:1. I was told by the sales person that I would not need to hold additional insurance on my homeowners policy since my solar system would not be large enough to require it. That was a lie and I had to carry an additional $1 million in liability. 2. I was told my system would be installed and running within 1 month and it took 6 months. They began charging me for the system before it was even producing energy.3. I was told there would not be any out of pocket expenses but I was told by my electric company that I needed to pay to have the net metering device installed. 4. I was told that the whole incentive payment(tax credit)can be used to put toward the cost of the system or i could chose to keep it and use it as I wished. The sales man even went as far to tell me a story about a customer that used the credit to take a vacation. He told me that if I use the credit to pay towards the solar system, my monthly bill would remain the same. If I chose to keep the credit and not pay it towards the system, my monthly bill would go up depending on how much I decide to keep and that I had 1 year to decide how I would like to use the incentive payment. I found out when I filed my taxes that this is a tactic these companies use. The sales person was not only misleading but lied directly about the tax credit. There is no way to apply the credit towards the cost like he said and now I am stuck with a payment that went up an additional $200 per month. I will make it my lifes mission to expose this company for the liars and cheats they really are.

      I got cold called by them to install solar. The woman on the phone was very nice. She told me that they had someone out our way tomorrow reviewing solar options, would I be interested in them dropping by. She told me the street and that they were going to that house at Noon, would I be available at 2? I just happen to have the day off tomorrow (Friday). So, she transferred me to the person that books the appointments. He started off very nice too. Then he asked if I was the only owner of the house. Well no, my wife is on the deed too. That's when he started insisting that my wife HAD to be there too. Well, my wife works during the day. So he wanted to reschedule the appointment. I really don't feel like going over solar in the dark where he wouldn't be able to really see the roof. My wife was going out of town for the next week. He wouldn't schedule an appointment without her so I said "No thanks"Over the past 12 years, I have had at least 5 different companies come out to give us estimates on solar. Nobody has EVER required both of us to be there. Seems very shady to me.
