      I had a representative come out to discuss the placement of solar panels. The sales person ******* explained what he could. I signed the paperwork as I have a busy work schedule, though he had some information to send me I requested. I knew I had 7 days to cancel. I spoke with ******* and informed him I did not want to move forward wraith the work. Weeks later I received notice from the city that a permit was pulled. I immediately called ******* who informed me he was no longer with the company. There after *** had *********************** me relentlessly canceling the work I request to be cancelled. He is persistent and beyond that condescending.

      Momentum Solar has contacted the homeowner. Momentum has cancelled Ms. ********* project, and we have let her know that no monies are owed. The homeowner has received e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and she will be receiving a letter in the mail as well.

      I had momentum Solor come out to my home in August 2023 to sing me up for solor . The sale man set up everything got be me all the details . As for as what was to be done . First he said my roof had to to be change , because i have too. Many layers of shingle plus I had cedar shingles on the roof , the coat was for the removal of said cedar shingles , when the roofers came on September 18 2023 . They started tearing off the roof there wasnt any cedar shingle . So what called the sale man , and told him that there wasnt any cedar and you charged me for it . He said they would be giving me a refund for the difference . I received a call from a supervisor of their roofing department name ***** of some thing like that saying the refund amount and . There be sending said refund to me . Until now no refund and no answer from this person

      I had roof damage back in April due to a hail storm. I filed a claim with my home owners insurance and Momentum Solar in regards to removal of my Solar Panels. i was told I would receive a call within 6 weeks but it has not been 9 weeks and no call. i called momentum and was told that a manager would call me and nothing as of yet. i would like to get ******* fixed but i cant do anything until my solar panels are removed first.

      We agreed and signed a contract for solar panels on our roof in March 2023, and Momentum Solar was quick to install the panels on the roof in April 2023 BUT the activation process is too long, unprofessional and ridiculous. It is now October 31, 2023 and the panels still HAVE NOT BEEN ACTIVATED. 6 months have past and still no working panels. I already made 2 payments on the solar panels and still have a electricity bill also. I can't afford the panel payments and the high UI bill so this is just the most timely and unprofessional process. Be careful what you sign up for, the panels are pricey and your roof will never be the same, the momentum customer service reps are quick to respond to my inquires but don't offer any reasonable solution.

We also explained to ******************** that we are on the final step of turning on his system, and we just received the permission to operate from his electric company.

      I had whole home solar installed by Momentum solar, financed by Dividend finance, in the past year. I was told I had a workmanship and solar warranty including the roof for 25 years.I am selling my home. My roof was new in 2017. When I bought the house in 2019, the roof inspection was fine.The buyer for my home had the home inspected in the past week. They had multiple concerns about damage to the roof caused by the solar installation specifically in the areas of the solar panels.I had ******** roofing come inspect the roof, and they said it was over 25% damaged from the solar panel installation, and I would need a new roof.The quoted price is $19,980 to replace the roof, and whatever it costs to have the solar panels removed and reinstalled.My preferance would be that the solar company removes the solar system completely, repairs all damages, and cancels my solar contract. The loan is $58,000. This entire thing is making it impossible for me to sell my home and is costing me well over $200,000 in loss of revenue from home sale, solar system costs, and now repairs needed.I have not filed a legal action yet in hopes that the solar company will repair the damages to the roof in time for me to still be able to sell my house and not incur more significant financial repercussions.Please assist.

      The repairs are not yet completed and I will need them reinspected.  Also this did void my pending house sale for which I lost $126k in profits.  I would propose some form of financial reimbursement towards the solar loan payoff.  Either way the roof repairs are pending

      Momentum Solar has been in contact with **************. We have advised the customer that there is no financial reimbursement due to the buyer back-out. We also let ************** know that his roof repairs had been scheduled for 11/14. Oue team was on site and able to complete a portion of the repairs when the weather became an issue. We have since spoken to ************** and have rescheduled this be completed on 11/21 between 12-2PM.

      Last December 2022, we purchased a solar system with Momentum. The sales representative spoke with his manager and told us that we would receive a $2200-2400 incentive for purchasing the system (this wasn't the 30% ******* Tax Credit). He also let ** know that we would receive this incentive ***** days after the solar system was totally installed and running. The system went live back in June and we still haven't received that incentive. My wife contacted the company almost two weeks ago; she was told by the representative that they couldn't find anything in the system, so they would need to message management. We haven't heard anything yet and when we tried to contact the sales representative that sold us the system, we were told that he no longer works for Momentum and he has no idea why we haven't received the incentive.

      My solar system was not producing any solar for over 30 days due to a fuse that had apparently failed. I contacted Momentum Solar and they sent a technician over to look at the system. He found a faulty fuse that caused the issue. He said that he has some batches of fuses to go bad. He replaced it with a smaller wattage one until he received the correct wattage one a few days later. I contacted momentum solar and requested a reimbursement for loss production. I was told that since it was a spike in power production that probably caused the fuse to go bad. I have never seen that solar rays spike in energy to cause that. Solar power is produced only one way, to the home or to City Public Service. I tried speaking with a supervisor and was sent to voicemail.

      Momentum lie to us we was going to just do the first floor they told us to do everything which was first floor Second floor and the basement so now we have to pay 3 different bills the person on the second floor move out from June 30 2022 they disconnected the light , gas and the solar . And Momentum still charge us bills from July until December 2022 for the second floor no one was living in the apartment for those months they came and see that it was empty and they said we are the owner we still have to pay monthly bill although no one is living there . Thats crazy That's not good because con ****** is not charging us and national grid is not charging us so why do we have to pay the solar bill the apartment is empty . The bill they say would remain the same each month I get bill for a $105 bills for $87 bills for $67 .I would tell any one getting Momentum solar to be careful. They tell you all these lies to get you to put up the solar and then the bill start at$43 the first month and then it keeps going up. in the summer the bill is high in the winter it still high so be careful getting Momentum solar.

We also highlighted that because he had signed up for a PPA, he would only be charged for the energy that the panels generated, and that his bill might change accordingly. We let the customer know that a validation call was recorded during which all of this was discussed. We also informed ******************** that he needed to contact IGS in order to challenge any bills.

      I contacted customer service and requested a supervisor callback after an immediate escalation of my concern was refused. I was not advised it would ***********-8 weeks to be placed on the schedule to have my panels reinstalled only that they would not place me on the schedule list until payment has been received. Payment was sent in the 4th and they added me to the list on the 17th. I pay on these panels monthly. 8 weeks is two months payment where ** not getting a break on my energy bill. I should not be financially burdened by their significant gap in business process. From ****** reviews I can see folks waiting far longer than 8 weeks to have their panels reinstalled. I also had to pay for the removal and reinstall despite being sold that Momentum would cover the first removal and reinstall due to roof replacement.

      I was promised by ****** a check for $400 from my initial contact regarding this complaint. Also The blueprints momentum used to reinstall were not correct causing them to affix panels to my lanai and opposite my garage where they do not belong and compromise the structural integrity of *******, where they remained during exceptionally heavy and prolonged periods of rain. I have called and left 2 messages for *** (******* boss) with no response. He promised me a call back to tell me how it is momentum has the wrong blueprints and to discuss replacing the portions of ******* where panels were affixed (and subsequently removed). The job was to remove and reinstall for an insurance claim, they did it wrong, they charged me money, they are not responding or following through on promises they make to their customer. 
      I cannot in good conscience sell a home with these pnaels on them without this being remedied fully and completely by momentum solar.

      The release implies that with the payment of $400, Momentum is indemnified against fixing the damage to the roof.

      the monetary promise was made because I paid $10k to momentum for them to damage *******, not as compensation for damaging *******.

       

      as discussed with ***, Momentum will be sent the estimate to re-roof this portion of *******. Until the work is done and Im indemnified this matter is not resolved.

      I signed the first contract with Momentum Solar on September 2022. After 3 hours at my house the sales rep promised me a connection for my new Tesla included with the solar panels. I asked him if the roof was alright to install the panels and he told me that everything looked great. As we have excellent credit score, we got a very good interest rate of ****% and i was supposed to pay $189 per month, so it looked like a very good deal.I called many times to the sales, rep, after we signed the contract and no answer until I got the number of a supervisor. He told me that the sales rep was fired because he promised a lot of things to a lot of clients that shouldn't be promised. He said he needed to send another representative to explain me about the system and to have another inspection. They sent me another guy that sat down and explained to me that I needed another roof. "Luckily", he was selling roofs, and he has the samples with him. He gave us a quote and I told him that we will think about it because I had other estimates way cheaper that what he was offering.We signed another contract with them on January 2023. Then on May 2023 I received an email with the financing cancelation. I called Momentum solar many times, spoke to a lot of different people about the financing. Because of their fault and their lack of professionalism, i have to pay a higher interest of ****%. The total would go from $189 per month to $229 per month. They told me that they would see how they would compensate me in order to have the same price monthly. No permit on the city of Hollywood was filed until June 2023, Part of that permit was rejected on July and nothing was file since then. I put $10.000 in down payment. My lawyer sent last month a letter demanding cancelation of the contract and the return of the money paid. This situation has escalated since the flood of April my roof was affected and i have not been able to hire another company to do the work. And As always, no answer.
