My Site ID is ******* I had this system installed less than a year ago and it is currently down for the 4th time. Every time I contact Momentum they act like it is no big deal and show no sense of urgency. I have been repeatedly told that my system is still generating and sending electricity to the grid but that is not true. FPL is showing no energy received during the multiple outages. With this most recent outage which is on going I contacted support on the morning of May 22nd and after explaining to the rep that this is a recurring issue she seemed to understand and agreed to expedite the correction. I was told I would be contacted in ***** hours. 51 hours later I replied to her email stating I had not been contacted. About an hour after my email I was called by a rep who didn't seem to have any notes from my prior call and stated it "was probably just spotty wifi and a tech would contact me within 3 business days". I explained to her that it was not wifi and the system hadn't reported in over 2 days. So now at best I will not be generating for over a week, the last time I was down for 21 days. This whole thing was sold on the idea of being paid back through saving on electricity but I cannot save when the system is down. Momentum needs to fix my system correctly so that it can work for longer than a few months at a time. I should also be compensated for the electricity bills that I have had to pay while waiting for the system to be fixed each time.

This is regarding Solar installation repair and maintenance regarding I got solar power system installed on the roof of my home at ************************ by Momentum Solar installation company in 2021. After the installation I had issues with my roof multiple times with multiple Roof shingles came off. Every time I followed up multiple times with momentum but their response is frustrating. Currently I am filling this complaint since my Solar installation not generating power from 13 of the 28 solar panels from March 2024, I called the Momentum customer service multiple times but finally they said that my contact is over and demanding to pay $500 per visit to the labor.I was told at the time of installation that Momentum will do free service for 25 years for any issue with solar installation or the Roof issues. I requested Momentum Solar to extend the service contract but they are denying to extend. Called the sales manager who did sign the contract on behalf of Momentum Solar but he said he left the company and advised me to raise complaint with BBB. My Solar installation is not generating 50% of the installed capacity for the past 3 months. Request to help me to resolve this issue at the earliest possible to save loss of power generation and also to inspect and repair my roof. Thank you in advance for your support.

Momentum offered to reduce my electric bill for me., Momentum solar said they will give me electric. Meanwhile igsenergy company was still giving gas and electric. Jan, February and March I paid igsenergy. igsenergy stated that Memento does not produce electric. So now Momentum states that they provide electric in the day and igsenergy provides at night. But before they stated they had stated something else. I would like for Momentum to remove their equipment off my property.

I visited my elderly mom, 79 years old and a Momentum Salesman was sitting with her on the porch having a vodka and tonic. He had been there for 4 hours! He somehow convinced my mom into solar panels and had her electronically sign a contract. Then she was contacted to sign a POA with an online notary asap (she wasn't sure why, so she didn't sign it). No reason they should ask for a POA. She asked for the contract in paper, he stated he could not do that, and he would explain each section as she initialed. He trusted him to tell her everything. So, she signed the contract and had 7 days to back out. I found out she did this when I visited next. She said they are sending out a roof guy. Well, she needs a new roof (17yrs old) and they happened to do roofing. Roofing guy came out and after 3 hours, he had her sign, electronically, a contract for a roof (3 -day cancellation). We told him we did not think it was in her budget, he sent a link to cancel if we needed to. We went through her finances, and we determined she could not afford the solar or roof. I read the solar portion, I asked mom if he told her there was a 2.9% increase in price each year, she said "no". She didn't know that they required her to carry a million- dollar insurance policy. So, we went to the link, it was a bad link. We called the office, to cancel everything (she was told if she could not afford the roof, she could cancel the solar contract). They were very pushy, abrasive and just horrible. I asked for a link so we could cancel, they would not send anything, especially in writing. They had already tried to pull the 15k from the Credit Card (the day the roof guy was there so they didn't even wait the 3 business days), they signed her up to get the roofing materials. We cancelled the card immediately. To this day we have nothing in writing. She is elderly, gets confused easily and this salesman saw the opportunity to take advantage of an elderly lady. They continue to call and harass her.

On or about November solar panels were installed on my hope. At the time of closing I was told by the salesman that I would receive a $650.00 Visa card. I have it in the salesmans handwriting. I have contacted the company twice sent them the paperwork and have received only one email that it was sent up to management. This is deceptive advertising and a ploy to get me to sign with their company, rather than another. I want to have this resolved.

In early March, 2024, we signed an agreement with Momentum Solar to have solar panels installed and convert our home to Solar power.
We were told that there was a possibility that we could be on Solar by early April, 2024. Weeks have gone by and I discovered that Momentum changed their plans after the drawings were submitted and a permit issued for installation.
Since then, Momentum has ghosted me and the only info that I can get is from Grand Prairie, my residence.
The last communication that I have received from Momentum was April 23, 2024. My loan payments are to commence in late June, 2024.
I have applied for a 90 day extension for my first payment.

We live in a no solicitation neighborhood, this company comes and knocks on my door atleast twice a month sometimes after 8pm. To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a comprehensive complaint against Momentum Solar regarding their unethical business practices and failure to disclose all associated costs related to their solar panel system.During the sales pitch, the Momentum Solar representative assured us multiple times that there would be no out-of-pocket costs. He even demonstrated the app and highlighted what we would be able to monitor, without ever mentioning any additional fees. It was only after the installation that we were informed of a $1200 charge to effectively monitor our usage, a detail that was never disclosed during any part of the conversation or documented in any agreements.Furthermore, upon my initial complaint, Momentum Solar temporarily enabled the ability to monitor the system, only to later deactivate it again. Despite multiple follow-*** from my end, the company provided limited response, and their final communication stated that access to the consumption meter would only be reinstated with an additional $1200 fee. This lack of transparency and arbitrary decision-making by Momentum Solar is unacceptable. It is clear that the company misled us during the sales process and failed to fulfill its obligations to provide full disclosure of associated costs.I urge the Better Business Bureau to thoroughly investigate these matters and take decisive action to hold Momentum Solar accountable for their actions. Customers deserve honesty and transparency, and it is crucial that companies like Momentum Solar adhere to these principles.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Had a conversation with a momentum sales rep in April 2024. They have called me over 10 times since then and 4 times after I requested to be removed from their call list. Each time I tell the caller to remove me from the list and to stop calling me (today was ***************************), they completely ignore me and continue on about "I'm just trying to save you money on your utilities..." or "we can send you a revised proposal." This is truly insane. REMOVE ME FROM YOUR COMPANY DATABASE. If I get one more call, I'm going to file a harassment charge. When I do get solar, it absolutely NOT be with this company.

Contract states that final payment would be due upon completion including inspections. The system did not pass inspection and per contract would wait until it passed. Instead, I was given a notice of unpaid balance with a threat to put a lien on my house. Received harassing phone calls during the same period. I spoke several times with the collections department and was told that they would remedy. I have paid the previous payments.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

However, the practice of sending notice of unpaid balance with threat of lien as a matter of routine business practice is in poor form.  I think notice should be sent after the company has fulfilled the terms of the contract.

I am rejecting this response because: spoke with representative and was told a lien was placed on my house. The representative said that the company has policy of not turning on the array until final payment is made. This forces the customer to pay for something that potentially does not work.  I have already paid about $35K on a system that has not delivered any benefit to me.  I email tonight saying that they were going to cut my power if I don't pay.

I have forwarded all the information to my lawyer and if there is a lien on my house, I will take action.
