I have been on the National Do Not Call Registry since April 4, 2014 and I continuously receive calls from this company. I have answered and told them I'm not interested and to please remove my number from their database. I have blocked several of the numbers and they just use a different one. I called back today to tell them to remove my number and they abruptly hung up. I have researched several of the class action lawsuits brought against Momentum Solar and its various entities and I see that they are flagrant and habitual offenders of not adhering to the National Do Not Call Registry and the courts agree. I want to be removed from any and all call lists related to this company and any of its entities. If not, I will contact my lawyer to begin a new class action lawsuit against Pro Custom Solar, LLC., Momentum Solar, ***************************, and Solar Solutions. That is several entities and who knows how many phone numbers they all use to violate laws. It's like a shell game of company names, but I will file a lawsuit against every one of them if I am not removed and never contacted again.Business Response

Momentum Solar has been harassing me for years. It goes in waves. Some weeks they leave me alone, some days it's multiple calls a day. Today they called 4 times.I am a renter. I couldn't do business with them if I wanted to, and never will due to the obnoxious harassment. I've told them this and they still call. Also I work night shift, 12 hours at a time performing lab tests. Imagine missing hours of sleep due to these people and working in a Hospital for 12 hours straight where your mistakes can cause patients to get completely wrong treatments.Business Response

Despite having told Momentum Solar that I am not interested in their services, they have continued to harass me on a daily basis-calling non-stop throughout the day, every day. They leave a voicemail with just a clicking sound each time.Business Response

Momentum Solar's marketing/advertising practices constitute harassment. Over the course of the last few weeks, I have received at least 2 phone calls from them daily from slightly different numbers - leaving voicemails every time they call. The voicemails have no verbal content - just an incredibly creepy heartbeat sound lasting between 7-8 seconds.
I could not find anything on the phone numbers calling me so did not pick up out of a combination of lack of desire to alert a spamming company my number was functioning because it was exacerbate the issue and fear this was actually a threatening situation. This has continued for weeks and I considered filing a police report it was so creepy.
Yesterday, I finally picked up out of frustration and discovered this was actually...a solar company out of New Jersey? They added me to their do-not-call list.
This is not a resolution. This should not have been necessary, as my number is on a national do-not-call list. Their marketing approach, which continues, constitutes harassment.
I'd like to hear from the business their plans to a) follow the law and not solicit numbers already on a do-not-call list and b) fix the voicemail issue.
There's no excuse for this type of marketing in 2024.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the business has ignored my request and focused on removing my number from their do not call list. This is besides the point and doesn't address the complaint. My request is for them to a) cease their practice of harassing marketing and respect the national do not call list (my phone number is already on the national do not call list) for ALL customers and b) at minimum, address the issue with the creepy voicemails that are left as a byproduct of their harassing marketing campaign. To reiterate, every time I received a phone call from them, a 7 second voicemail with a heartbeat was left. If they are not going to leave their business information, they should not leave a voicemail at all. Per my initial request, at minimum, I'd like them to acknowledge that b) occurs and identify their plan for rectifying the situation.I have already acknowledged that they placed me on their do not call list; since this occurred I have not had a series of harassing phone calls or creepy voicemails left, because (again) my phone number is on a national do not call list that other companies respect.

We have looked into this case, and we have found the
consumer’s phone number in our records based on the first nine digits that were
provided. We have confirmed that this number was previously added to our Do Not
Call list and has not been called since being added to the list. We do not
leave voicemails and have no record of voicemails being left for this phone number.
If the consumer is claiming to have received voicemails, we apologize for
any inconvenience this may have caused. It appears that this phone number was
provided to our company via a retail store meeting with one of our representatives.
Since the phone number was willingly provided in the store, it means someone
expressed interest in our company, provided this consumer’s phone number, and we
would have called to follow up with the inquiry. We do adhere to the National
Do Not Call List. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and can ensure that

I had solar panels installed by momentum solar approximately six years ago. Our house was already 12 years old so I specifically asked about the process of having a new roof installed when the time came. I was promised that momentum would remove and reinstall the panels once for no charge. I assumed this was the company policy, but now I am trying to take advantage of what I was told and apparently I need a golden ticket stating it was a special promotion. I know what I was promised but momentum refuses to honor what was outlined. I shouldnt be surprised because this poor treatment was not the first. When this company came to my house they had a fancy computer model suggest that my panels should go under a large tree on my back slope. I disagreed and asked they be moved where they could actually receive direct sunlight. A new design was drawn up, but when I got home from work after install day they were put under the large tree. I was told they would still produce the promised power and that I had to wait a year for proper results to be assessed. To no surprise they significantly underproduced. After contacting the company they refused to help any further. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and was given the run around. I gave up the fight and just settled for what I had. Here am I 6 years later still being haunting by the decision to choose this company. They should not be allowed to ignore customer request after promises and contracts are made. I will be taking up the fight again and will be seeking further action to get what I was promised and what was outlined I the contract. I implore anyone interested in solar panels to stay away from this company. They are the devil in disguise.Business Response

After completing research about the effectiveness of solar panels, we decided to have solar panels installed on our roof. We contracted with Momentum Solar. The contractors and their service was sub par. After more than $20,000 (significantly more than what was quoted), the work was not completed, our roof and the interior walls in our home was damaged and Momentum placed a $1200 lien on our property and the work is still incomplete. The homeowner did advise us that there was interior damage from the installation. The interior repairs were completed on July 19, 2024. This is harassment. Momentum solar continually calls my phone from different numbers. I have blocked at least ten numbers identified as Momentum Solar. I have no interest in solar panels. I never did as I live in a condo so even if I wanted them I do not have the authority to randomly install solar panels. I do not know how this company obtained my cell phone number, but I have repeatedly asked to be taking off their phone list AND also blocked ALL of their numbers, but the calls still continue. I put the solar panels on November on ********************************************************* may of 2024 n from june to august of 2924 was not working and to get a person to come to my to fix the issue it took 2 months plus n when they came they fis the issue and during the time I was paying the light bill in total *********** momentum solar at the same time and I was informed I will get a credit for those 3 months and once I call they told me no credit will be given n this is the worse ************** lie to people there is no saving at all I been paying 3 times more send I got this ********************************** service is also horrible as wellBusiness Response

Momentum Solar has been in contact with the homeowner. It was explained to the homeowner that their contract includes a production guarantee, and after the conversation the customer understood that the compensation review would not occur until after 24 months of service. Momentum Solar did offer reimbursement to the homeowner due to being misinformed, which the homeowner accepted. On August 23, 2024, Solar Momentum replaced my roof. When the roof was completed, I checked it out and found a piece of Soffit lying in back of the gas meter at the sunroom side, looking up at the A of the roof, I could see that the piece of soffit belonged at the A under part as a piece was missing Further inspection revealed that the gutters where they were sending up the roof bundle's with an electric lift with the ladder against the gutter an it was damaged, whereas the fascia on the sunroom side was damaged where a ladder was against it. All the white on the house and sunroom windows and coroners, and gutters were not white, they were a grey color do to all the dust that was made when ripping the roof off. The gate where the man backed the dumpster in was hit. The black marks are still there. I could not close the gat because it had been knocked out of shape. Had to get a strap hoist to pull back the gate pole. The soffit at the A of the sunroom must be repaired as birds, and animals and rain can get in and cause a bigger problem. When Sean from momentum and his crew arrived, I showed him all the problems, he said he would report when he checked in the next day, this was Sept. 13 ,2024. Made calls to Momentum with no responses. Field a report with Consumer Protection on 9/30/2024 with no response as of today 10/9/2024.Business Response
