1 starWell.... where to begin? i initially bought one of their practice GRE exams in March and.... after spend*** my money and launch*** it, it kept crash***. I tried for 2 hours straight to launch it and it kept error-*** out. As a result, I tried email*** them about a refund and they never got back to me.2 months later, after call*** them and email*** them again, I was given a new practice test. Mind you.... this is 2 months later. i signed up for their GRE at home exam and...... midway through, my ******* from proctorU decided to suddenly close out my exam. When you close out the exam, your video stops work*** as a result. When ask*** my ******* why it was closed out, he said my video stopped. ....... if a ******* stops your exam, then your video also stops as a result. I don't appreciate what are obvious lies to your customers here. Actions speak louder than words here! After patiently wait*** 2 months for assistance with their faulty practice test, I cannot believe the number of hours and money I spent with this company only for their third party affiliate (proctorU) to cancel my exam midway. I am runn*** on thin ice with this company! I'm go*** to reiterate what i said again: actions speak louder than words!Review fromShannon W

1 starPrior to taking the exam, I extensively reviewed the information provided on your website and was informed multiple times that the qualifying score for Tennessee was 164. Based on this information, I prepared for and subsequently took the exam. However, upon receiving my results, I was informed that I did not pass the exam because the new qualifying score was 169.This discrepancy between the information provided on your website and the actual required score has caused me considerable distress and inconvenience. I have made several follow-up phone calls and have been repeatedly promised a call back, yet I have not received any resolution or clear answers.Furthermore, I noticed that the qualifying score information on your website was updated after my complaint. This change in information after the fact raises serious concerns about the ethics and transparency of Praxis. As a consumer, I relied on the accuracy of the information provided by Praxis to guide my preparation for the exam. The failure to maintain consistent and accurate information has directly impacted my ability to pass the exam. It is my firm belief that I should not be penalized due to this error on your part.I have attached screenshots from your website clearly showing that the qualifying score for Tennessee was listed as 164 at the time of my preparation and exam registration. I respectfully request that you accept my score of 164 as a passing score, in accordance with the information that was available to me.The Praxis does not value accuracy, fairness, and ethical practices!Review fromJasmine H

1 starAs a newly graduated student-teacher, it is required that I take and pass the Praxis Exam to qualify for my educators license in my state. I signed up for an in-person exam through ETS, which I understand is the only provider of the Praxis. I scheduled my testing date and location, and was required to upload artifacts to use for my written essay questions. This had to be done at least 3 business days prior to my testing date, not including my testing date itself. I ended up moving my testing date to a time later in the month because I wanted more time to study. At this point I had spent almost $200 on this test. I went to upload my artifacts 3 weeks prior to my testing date, but discovered that there was no link or button for me to do so through. I promptly emailed customer **********************, and received instructions on how to upload 3 days later. It was then that I discovered I was missing the linka technical issueand reached back out to customer **********************. I received no answer at all. I now only had 2 weeks prior to my testing date, so I called customer **********************. The rep was kind and polite, but only gave me an email address to reach out to about my issue. I again received no answer. I now only had 4 business days til my test date, and as I stated earlier, I had to upload these artifacts at least 3 business days prior. I had also researched the refund policy, and it was the same: cancellations at least 3 business days prior to your date are entitled to a 50% refund of testing fees, but this had to be done using the missing link. I called again for help, and was told there had been no progress on my tech issue, so I requested a refund. The rep tried to tell me I was no entitled to a refund due to the timing, but I corrected him, and he complied. I did receive a full refund, but this was a massive waste of time spent studying, reaching out for unproductive help, only for me to cancel my test in the end. Its already hard enough to get a license w/o ******************** making it worse.Review fromNaomi B

1 starI took the praxis test online, and have not received my official scores yet. Even though I received an email which reported information that my score is under investigation, and I asked about it through phone call. Now they told me that they dont know and have no information. Poor customer **********************. This is freaking ridiculous! I took the test about 10 times all together and because I finally passed with money wasted on tutoring. I finally passed and they cant take anymore money from me they want to investigate. Now, I have to wait 1-2 weeks for my scores and cant report it to my school if I passed so I can finally start my Clinicals.Review fromShubha C

1 starI am one of those candidates whose testing was a disaster because of poor test practices. ETS Praxis, a widely-used teacher certification exam, faces significant criticism for its unreliability and poor service. Candidates often encounter incompetent proctors and technicians, leading to a disrupted testing environment and technical difficulties. Additionally, ETS's strict no-refund policy reflects poor business ethics, leaving dissatisfied candidates without recourse. The testing software is notoriously unreliable, causing system crashes and compatibility issues, with ETS deflecting blame onto candidates. Moreover, ETS has a history of arbitrarily canceling test scores without explanation, leaving candidates frustrated and powerless. In conclusion, ETS Praxis fails to provide a fair and reliable testing experience, undermining the credibility of the teacher certification process.Review fromWilliam G.

1 starIf I could give zero stars I would.Praxis utilizes ******* U as an online partner for at-home exams. I was logged in and waiting for my exam, and the ******* U ******* never came. ******* U cancelled my session due to their incompetence and unprofessionalism. I filed my case with Praxis-ETS who told me that the ******* listed me as a now-show. Weird, when it was the ******* who was a no-show. So now I am out an extra $130 to take the Praxis. I paid, and did not get what I paid for.THIS IS FRAUD!Review fromAdeline K

1 starI am a student teacher which means I PAY COLLEGE TUITION to teach and then take the Praxis II. I paid to take the exam and then logged in. I waited two hours for a ******* to show up and even sat on hold for 45 minutes. In the end nobody showed up. When I reached out to ETS for help they told me it was my fault and there was nothing they could do about it. Mind you I live in a remote village and I cant take the test at the testing center in *********. When I was going to be in ********* to test in person they only offered ONE day in the month of May. Its ridiculous that they f*** up and then still charge us more money to take an exam. They take forever to give the exam, they dont give us our results in a decent amount of time, they claim we cheat. Im so irritated with the lack of customer **********************. I hate that we have to take a timed exam to be a teacher. This exam that is a f****** scam does not define teachers. Anyone and everyone working for ETS needs to learn some customer ********************** and stop claiming the test takers are the problem.Review fromJoe C

1 starETS Praxis (**********************************************************) is the sole ******* that provides the PRAXIS certification test required by the state to teach in the state of ********* ******* needs to be investigated for poor business practices and fraud. It has many BBB complaints. They provide exams for the required Praxis test. The software they use often fails. They are aware of the issue as well. But they refuse to give refunds for a product they know doesn't always work and will not give refunds or credit. They also make you pay for the next test even though the first purchase didn't work. We are still trying to get a refund for the first test offering that didn't work. The ETS reps are condescending, unapologetic and just give you the run around. The ETS ******* is holding these young teachers in ** and elsewhere over a barrel because they know they have to have the PRAXIS certification. So I guess they figure they can rip them off as often as they like.Review fromZhangyun T

1 starI took the ***** test online, and have not receive my official scores yet, even though I received the email which reported availability of my score last week. Then I was NOT informed that my score is under reviews for no reason, until I asked about it through phone call. Now they told me that they can not guarantee when it ends. This is freaking ridiculous! As all the comments online, they do NOTHING BUT TAKING THE TEST FEES!
