1 starI recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with CarShield, and I must say it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I purchased their extended warranty with high hopes of getting reliable coverage for my vehicle, but it turned out to be a huge mistake.First and foremost, their customer ********************** is abysmal. It's almost impossible to get a hold of a representative, and when you finally do, they seem completely uninterested in helping. I felt like I was talking to a robot reading off a script rather than a human being who cared about my concerns.The coverage itself is a joke. When my car broke down, I quickly realized that many essential components were conveniently not covered by their warranty. It's as if they purposely excluded the most common and expensive repairs to save themselves money while leaving the customer stranded with hefty ********************** bills.Moreover, the claims process is a bureaucratic nightmare. Endless paperwork, documentation requirements, and delays made the whole ordeal even more frustrating. It took weeks to get any sort of resolution, and when I finally did, the reimbursement was far from sufficient, leaving me to cover a significant portion of the expenses out of pocket.To add insult to injury, the fine print in their contract is designed to benefit CarShield more than the customer. They find every excuse to deny claims, and the loopholes are so intricately woven that you're left wondering if coverage was ever the intention in the first place.My experience with CarShield was nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore alternative options. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and money by steering clear of CarShield. They are a prime example of a company more interested in profit than providing genuine value to their customers.CarShield

1 starI have been paying for Carshield insurance for 4 years at $89.00 per month (price reduced due to senior citizen age). I have not used it the entire time I have been paying for it. Today I called for the first time to make a claim for a *******. They said "you are not covered for that repair." ******* I have paid for NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! DO be fooled by their sale pitch. They are PHONY, SWINDLERS, and have not concept about customer **********************!!!!!!!!!AVOD THEM LKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!CarShield

1 starI have been a customer of ********************** since 3/17/2021; and the payment has been taken from my Discover credit card faithfully every month. Now that I have filed a claim. I attempted to go and see details on my claim in my account and my account is showing past due. I am very disappointed in the service. I know they have the stars such as *******************, Ice-T, *******************, ************************* just to name a few. I hope the stars understand the type of company they are backing. It seems my car may need an engine. ******* stated they will look around for an engine??. I have been going back and forth between the repair shop that I consistent use, and carshield/American shield from 12/16/23 to current 12/31/2023. I am waiting on them to approve the repair.CarShield

1 starCarshield is the biggest scam in the service business. I paid $109 a month for 3 yrs and every time I took my car to the shop I was told that ITS NOT COVERED!!! The reps are trained to tell you the same lie about your so called coverage. TOTAL SCAM !!!CarShield

1 starI called in to start a new warranty. I wanted to know 1 thing, where the closest shop was that accepted their warranty. The sales rep tried to help but the shop he gave me didn't sound like it was close. H said I could call their "concierge" line to find a shop close to me. I called and was told the manager said to tell me I could take my car to any licensed mechanic shop, which is a lie being hardly any shops take the warranties because they are too hard to collect from. So again, I ask for the closets shop which I was told once I become a member, I can call THEN they can tell me where the closest shop is and if none is by then i can cancel for a fu refund. So I'm supposed to pay $140 just to find out if there is a shop in my area. They just lost a potential customer. I had my CC in hand ready to pay and I ask for the closest shop and told I have to pay to find that out. Never have I ever. It's not a big secret that hardly anyone takes the warranties. That was their scam by telling me "you can take your car to any licensed mechanic shop". If it wasn't then they would have just told me the closest one and if within a 25 mile radius, then I would have signed upCarShield

CarShield is more than willing to work with any ASE certified. Which is why we tell you, you may take to any ASE certified mechanic. However, the repair shop has every right to deny you of using your coverage. As far as why we can not locate you a shop in your area before buying is that we can only provide those services for customers. Unfortunately, if there is not a sold policy the system will not work correctly. 5 stars****************** had a transmission problem with my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. CarShield has made my experience with getting my truck repaired a very pleasant moment. Everything went smoothly from having my truck towed to replacing my transmission. I highly recommend anyone to invest in their services its worth every *****. CarShield Thank You so much! 1 starNot loyal to their word. They **** and robbed me blind. They did not cover my vehicle when they claim they do. My car went to three auto shops and they dont even like to deal with them. They only paid half the expenses we had to cover the other half. Dont trust them they will steal your money even if you do what they say step by step they steal your money. My car needed a new motor and they beat around the **** for two months with my car. Guess what they owe me half of that and I intend to.CarShield

1 starIf I had to choose them all over again I would tell them something that I cant say on here but this not what they say they are I just found out about them and is getting ready to cancel them they just reaping people off and telling them that they will fix their car they want to fix your car with used parts and if you dont use them parts they wont pay for it to get fixed so you have to pay for it bull shirt Im done with them and if are out looking for coverage dont pick CarShield they are a ripoffCarShield
