    The hardest part is finding someone that will take Carshield. The ac went out in my **** Edge. The **** dealership says they stopped taking Carshield due to non payment, under payment and delayed payment. The PepBoys said they'd rather not but if the did they wouldn't release my car until Carshield reimbursed then...anywhere from 5 to 8 weeks they ******* I took my car to a very reliable mechanic that I have used before and could do the job with new parts and was about half of what the dealership.or other mechanics would have charged. I did my due diligence with at least 5 quotes. The mechanic I took it to says he won't speak with them, they waste too much of his time, he doesn't have the staff, and it is nothing but smoke and mirrors, always something that wasn't provided, another hoop to jump through. So I am going to have to pay out of picket and ask Carshield for reimbursement. Some rude little adjuster is already trying to weasel out of paying. I have given them everything requured for pre approval, they won't give me the approval, although they say it is coming. The car is fixed today, I am paying them out of my own pocket and will submit the paid invoice for reimbursement. How much do you want to bet that they will find a way to weasel.out of paying?I've been a Carshield customer for tgree years and never made a claim, the willingly took my money but it remains to be seen whether I will get reimbursed or not.I do not reccomend this company. Save your money.That being said, I have spoken to a couple of very nice young ladies that do all they can to help. The adjusters I've spoken with are rude and will look for any little nitpicking thing they can to avoid approving or paying for a claim.

    ***** in customer ********************** was very helpful and thorough in getting a new contract corrected to have my domestic partner listed as the primary contact for her vehicle. The first ***** who initiated the contract did not set it up correctly with her as the primary and me as the secondary contact. My complaint is that the 25 day waiting period is excessive and that waiting period is NOT MENTIONED AT ALL in any TV ads OR WHEN SETTING UP COVERAGE ON THE PHONE WITH AN AGENT UNTIL ALMOST COMPLTED.

    Mr. ********** an industry standard, Vehicle Service Contracts do not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions prior to the inception of your contract and through. For quality assurance, CarShield records all calls. Within your sales call, you were informed of the waiting period and the exclusions of pre-existing conditions. Moreover, the contract has been rewritten and placed in Ms. ***** name.     I feel ripped off. I need my transmission replaced but Carshield said my contract doesn't cover gaskets and seals. What I don't understand is mostly every part of a car requires a gasket or a seal. I wasn't informed of this when I purchased coverage.

    Carshield took forever to send me a engine back in May. They asked for a 1000 dollar deductible and the engine they sent went out. I think my mechanics are having a hard time reaching them. They are horrible!

    I've been with Carshield since 07/26/21 and I was told by my dealership that they do not accept CarShield, I requested cancellation, and the supervisor was dragging car dealership. I've been with my dealership since 2018 and I take my car for service every ***** miles. My car runs perfectly. However, my panel is doing its own thing like dialing and changing settings on my dashboard. Of course, that's not covered.
