    I have to say that so far Car Shield has been doing what they said.....My Car just broke down and they helped me get it to the Dealership.....They said it appears to be a Timing chain Which would mean It Should be Covered according to the Policy....But So Far Car Shield is Awesome.....

    I just found out that CarShield will not cover the cost of quality parts. Instead, they go out of their way to use knock-off Chinese parts, which I did not agree to. When I called to cancel my policy, the representative repeatedly asked me why I wanted to cancel, wasting my time instead of simply processing my request. Based on this experience, I no longer want to do business with this company, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before doing business with them as well.

    I wanted to change my automatic payment from my debit card to my DDA. If my debit card had to be replaced again due to a fraud attempt, the auto pay would not be effected. She understood what and why I was doing this and after verification of who I was, she completed the task. Then she asked me I wanted to have my current payment debited from this acct which she promptly did. She was very courteous and professional during the entire call. She is definitely an asset to the company.

    This was my first time needing to use this company after paying for over a yearand the experience was extremely disappointing. I was consistently given the runaround when trying to get a repair covered under my contract.Despite the issue being clearly listed in my coverage, they only agreed to pay for part of the repair. I was even hung up on by a customer service representative. When I called back, I wasnt given her name, and no one could explain why additional claims were entered two weeks latesomething they used as justification to only partially cover the repair. No tear-down was done, which was another red ******* feels like their goal is to pay the bare minimum just to patch up your vehicle, keeping you dependent on their services. When it comes to major repairs, they seem to look for any reason to shift the responsibility to the customer. This approach borders on false advertising and results in wrongful claim denials.Given their recent class action lawsuit, Im not surprised by this experience. I would strongly advise others to do thorough research before signing up.

    Wanted to use them, pay enough money every month. But they wont budge on anything regarding cost to have something repaired, especially when it comes to the hours that my shop says it will take compared to what they will only pay for. And then when my garage says I need something else. They wont get out there to look at it for several days and then maybe and maybe not pay for it. My garage is a very small garage and only has a few bays and doesnt have time to wait on them to come and look at it when he can easily just send pictures and videos so now I am going to be out a lot of money because this company just takes your money and doesnt pay for c*** after they pay for this repair that theyre willing to pay for I will be dropping them and finding another fricking company that hopefully will treat me better. I talked to one lady and she was just so rude to me. Stay away from them. Sad thing is I have 3 vehicles with them.

    On July 28 2025 someone hit and run my 2014 **** escape. Insurance totaled vehicle. My monthly payments are ***** due on the 6th. I called Aug 6 and explained what happen and they took a payment anyway. I requested a refund since the car didn't exist. Sep 8 I was told that I wouldn't get it because I should have called 24 to 48 hrs before payment. They knew the rules I didn't. Im 75 yrs old and need my money
