    If I could give less than 1 star I would. While on vacation, I got a notice on my dash that there was a problem with the car on Friday night. I called them and the message said they didn't open till Monday. I took the car over to two of their recommended service centers. they said they could not repair it and could not get the part. On Monday I took the car over to the dealer and they said they had one part left and it was on backorder. I went back to the recommended service center and they said they could not get the part and had no idea of when they would get the part. I called Car Shield and explained it to them, and they said they would not cover it because I didn't have it done at one of their service centers. I told the car dealer to repair it. As far as I'm concerned, Car Shield is not there when you need them. I would not suggest buying Car Shield.

    This insurance is no good for Mini Coopers. One place works with car shield but doesnt work on Minis. Listed 3. -2 refused to take the sorry insurance. Car Shield Sold me the policy w/ telling me about that part Was rude when I cancelled my POS POLICY

    Im in this same boat everyone:( I really cant afford extra stuff for my car but I am always running into car trouble at good moments. I gave carshield a try after so many annoying ad letters mailed to my home. The big disappointment is I changed my payment date and thats when the nightmare began. First customer ********************** starts calling me up like crazy about the previous monthly payment date being due meanwhile I figured they knew that my payment date changed. After that, I notice they took out money from the previous monthly due date instead of the updated monthly due date. This trouble went on for two months, I was sick and tired of speaking to customer ********************** over n over about this situation that shouldve been straighten out in the 1st place. Then they sounded so sincere (every time I called they sound underrating compassionate & sincere) and decided To give me a discount $10 less from the actual discount that I am billed to however that didnt work. Right afterwords a few days later, they took out another round of money that wasnt even due on the due date. I would say they would pull money out of my bank account every other week totaling up to $100. I was so ****** I dont know what to do. I felt like going crazy. Finally, I just decided I wanted to cancel my service. It was the last straw, Im getting robbed. Man, did that take a very long time on the phone to do to tell them firmly that I want to cancel the service. They still wanted me to suffer well with unexpected payments getting pulled out of my account. Its crazy. When I went on this website now I find out this company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which doesnt make sense because these people have been out since ****. Whats up?? Definitely not legitimate and trusting.

    Carshield has had my vehicle claim tied up since November 14th. Been with them 3 years. Over $3000 spent. Transmission. They are not trustworthy at all.

    I was sold a policy for my *********** about 18 months ago, but the sales person sold me a policy that did not help me at all. I recently brought my car in for a low coolant light on, I got 2 estimates, and they both diagnosed the same issue. But after calling Carshield I was informed about the 2 types of packages they have, ************** At the time I purchased these warranties I was not informed this. And of course that's why they claimed my car wasn't covered. I was not even given the option to purchased the gold package, had this been bought to my attention I would not have wasted my money on buying the silver package which does nothing for you.

    We purchased a car shield policy for our Buick enclave. Payments have been on time all the service that they require on time. We needed to have our transmission replaced and they are giving us a hard time at every turn. Our car has been in the shop for three weeks gave us a junkyard transmission, and now theyre nickel and diming the repair shop, trying not to pay for the last portion of the repair.

    Be aware of this company they do not tell you that even if you paid for the whole month and you have to cancel a few days later the policy because you no longer need it they will not refund your money be aware this people are fraud

    Carshield is an absolute scam!!! If you even drive your vehicle 4 INCHES while your check engine light is on, your VOID YOUR WHOLE WARRANTY!! If you do not immediately pull your vehicle to the side of the road and call a tow truck the SECOND your check engine light comes on, carshield will NOT COVER YOUR REPAIRS!!! I made the mistake of telling the repair facility and carshield that I drove my vehicle TO the repair facility, instead of having it towed, and they covered NOTHING! They said that I DAMAGED my OWN engine in the short distance to the shop! The entire warranty was void. By driving it to the repair shop! I paid my monthly fee for a long time, and the one time that I tried to use my warranty, they didn't cover anything because I drove my vehicle to the shop! Which is what any sane person would do. Your check engine light comes on, you drive to the shop. That's what I did. OH NO! Nothing from carshield.
