    I was charged $920 for a drywall repair that left my home in WORSE condition! When I contacted TaskRabbit they tried to offer me a credit for my next task. Talk about insult to injury!!!After being on hold for over an hour a very rude "Senior Specialist" let me know in no uncertain terms that they would do nothing more about it. The business is the absolute ************* of customer service.- They promote Taskers as experienced with great reviews who are NOT - They do not stand behind the work - Instead of attempting to find a solution they brow beat you with their Terms of Service (or lack thereof)AVOID - AVOID - AVOID BBB - can revise to give ZERO or Negative Stars? This company doesn't deserve 1 star!!!

    You will NOT get your task done!! I thought this platform was owned by IKEA, of which I had purchased some furniture to assemble. There has been no response in getting my "task" completed. I tried calling - and using the online chat with no luck! in getting a hold of anyone in customer service - other than auto generated message on having a large influx of calls and appreciate your patience! I then get email and text saying there is a message and I need to "reply", but when you try to "reply" there is nothing. After 4 hours of holding (once I got past the call drop because of volume of calls) - I asked about the email I was supposed to "reply" to and then was told that, too, was auto generated and to ignore (Whaaat??) Every day, I call to get the same answer - "we're still trying to assign you a ******". Why do I need to do this EVERY DAY instead of having a "filter" that X Y Z days/times are open in the future? Also asked about a service gap possibly in my area - no known information? I would think they would know that XYZ zip code has ** of taskers and typically will take X number of days based on my area code. It is a JOKE - they are just a platform for individuals to bid on jobs and no guarantee or work.

    HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE NIGHMARE WITH THIS COMPANY. MY ****** WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE WEBSITE, THE EXTREME LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. GET THIS,...I HAVE SPENT SO MANY HOURS TRYING TO GET ANY RESPONSE AS WITH TRYING TO EDIT OR CANCEL MY M/C. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! SO MUCH WASTED TIME BEING SENT IN SPIRALS TO DO THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN,......AND AGAIN WITH NO RESULTS. SO MUCH ON THE WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK. I FINALLY GOT SOME RESPONSE FOR THE PERSON TO TELL ME TO DO IT A 15TH TIME WHEN IT NEVER WORKED BEFORE. I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. RUN RUN RUN AWAY.....TOO MUCH WASTED TIME AND SO MUCH BACK AND FORTH,...GOOD LUCK GETTING ANYONE TO HELP U. HOW MANY 1 STARS DO U NEED TO NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN..

    Avoid. My ****** canceled with less than 3 hours notice. I followed the steps in TaskRabbit's My ****** Canceled, What Should I Do? and they don't work, they just lead to an attempt to get you to double-book yourself. Nobody answers the phone and once you get past the virtual assistant on Chat Support, you just stare at a "we appreciate your patience" screen. The what should I do page does not include an option to get a refund, only a warning that if I now cancel the task myself, I will be charged a fee.

    We hired someone from TaskRabbit to water our indoor plants while we were away for a month, but it was a bad experience. We booked a ****** two weeks in advance, but she canceled the day before her first visit without any explanation. TaskRabbit customer service didnt respond, and their system suggested two taskers who both declined. We finally found someone at the last minute, costing us $46 per 10-minute watering session.Three out of four waterings went okay, but the ****** didnt show up for the fourth, leaving our plants in bad shape. When we got home, we found the kitchen light switch broken, possibly indicating anger issues with the ******. We hesitate to leave a bad review of the ****** to avoid any retaliation since he knows where we live.I think TaskRabbit doesnt properly vet their taskers for reliability or stability. While there are some positive reviews, Ive seen mostly negative ones. Additionally, the TaskRabbit app seems to monitor web searches aggressively, suggesting taskers based on unrelated searches.I recommend being cautious about using TaskRabbit for any job that needs consistency and reliability.

    AVOID TASKRABBIT AT ALL COST!! They sent an incompetent assembly person to work on our $1,300 Ikea wardrobe system. He literally ruined two of the doors, by mis-drilling the holes for the handles and then trying to repair them by installing a white plastic drywall anchor in the mis-drilled holes. TaskRabbit has refused to make things right. They have only offered a credit to my TaskRabbit account of half the assembly cost. Why would I ever want to use them again?

    TaskRabbit uses shady business practices to extract money from customers in the form of a "trust and support fee" that they claim is in place so that they can provide customer service, but when you seek the customer service, they are nowhere to be found. We had a ****** adjust time on us and for 24 hours before the task, we could get no help from them (they would start chats and leave them, transfer us to calls that went nowhere, etc). ****, we did the task and paid for it, but they doubled the trust and support fee and refuse to reduce or eliminate it. Turn elsewhere for your needs, the company makes money by picking the pocket of taskers and clients alike.

    The ****** I spoke with regarding my task, was nice and responsive. This review is for the company itself. I've been trying to dispute the charges to my account for over 5 days. No one answers the phone. I requested a call back and have yet to receive one. I've tried using the messenger pop up through their website and receive a reply every few days. They do not acknowledge my responses, as if they were automated. The funds have already been removed from my account, although I've tried to dispute them 24 hours prior. Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and funds removed from my account.

    I hired someone off of TaskRabbit to help with electrical work. This person had great reviews. While he did his work, he did lie about how long he was in my home. As a result, I was overcharged. When I complained about this to TaskRabbit, they refused to refund me my money. DO NOT give them your business!
