    ****** Came and drove truck over lawn and damaged lawn and edges.I took photos and videos shared with both **** and Taksrabit.Both of them are sending my case to each other. Employee of TaskRabbit who did damage and I got ****** via ****. Both of them are not taking responsibility and asking me to reach out each other. Shame on both of them with all evidence not even single call made to customer.

    Terrible customer “support” !!! I hired two taskers to complete a move for me which they did perfectly well. I have no complaints about the taskers themselves. I paid them both through the app at the time the job was completed. That should’ve been the end of the story. Two weeks later I received an email from Taskrabbit saying that there was a problem with my payment to one of the taskers and I still owed for his services. I checked my bank account and the payments to BOTH taskers had cleared my bank two DAYS after the job. I tried to reach customer support through the chat feature and it was an INCREDIBLY slow experience. I gave up after 1.5 hours and submitted my complaint to their website. I received an email in response from their customer support team and from there it went downhill. No matter what I said to this guy, no matter that I showed him a screenshot of the charges clearing in my bank statement, he stood his ground that I owed this money. And to make matters worse, they charged my bank AGAIN for the payment they felt they were owed. But that STILL wasn’t the end of this story. I filed a dispute with my bank for the unauthorized charge and, 3 days later (today), Taskrabbit charged my bank account AGAIN!! If you’re counting, that’s each tasked getting paid TWICE for ONE job. To make matters worse, I used ******** as my payment method on the account, which I can’t remove, and I’m not even sure how they were able to charge my account today because when I filed the dispute with my bank they deactivated my old bank card (tied to ********) and issued me a new card which I did NOT update in ********. Choose another company for your handyman or mover needs - this company is very bad to do business with.

    A taskrabbiter drilled a whole into my pipe do to not using a stud finder and caused property damage. I filed a case with Taskrabbit, in response the taskrabbiter overcharged me and billed me for more hours than work performed, charged me for expenses, and furthermore did not use the correct drywall anchors.
    TaskRabbit refuses to refund me for any of this. Their customer service stated that the claims would be treated separately because their documentation requirements for the property damage were impossible (they expected invoices far sooner than would be produced by the repair company) and the property damage was a separate issue from his subpar work and the time fraud. They further refused to honor that commitment and allowed him to over charge me in retaliation for reporting the property damage he caused

    I had a cleaning team break 2 items-one of which is worth quite a bit of money as an original piece of art. Worse, they covered it up and I didn't discover the damage until recently. TaskRabbit said that because I was over their 30 day policy (by 5 days), they could do nothing. To top it off, this team created a new listing on the site because it turns out that their reviews were in the toilet. Never again and I will ensure I share this information far and wide. They are a shady company.

    My account was changed to 'limited account' last year and at the time I had completed 225+ tasks on the platform and was elite as well as receiving 140 - 5 star reviews which is quite impressive. Also, I have had repeat clients who have directly hired since the abrupt account change and have given me 5 star reviews as well. I have numerous clients who have said they would reach out to task rabbit on my behalf as they know I'm a professional and efficient ****** who strives to provide the best customer service possible. With that being said, my main concern was the 4 - 1 star reviews I recieved which I believe was the reason for the account change. I spoke with a couple of those clients and they even said they would email task rabbit on my ********* I'm asking, is there anyway to reactivate my account so it shows in the search results and I'm able to bring more clients to your platform. I spoke with the support team and they advised me to speak with the policies team to resolve this account issue and figure out a path back to reinstating my account fully.Please advise what my options are and when I'll be able to fully utilize the platform as a ******.

    I think this would be a fine opportunity for people who weren't in a rush. I only needed to try to use this service because I needed somebody the next day to help move some items to be able to finish closing on selling my house. And this circumstance, I would not recommend Taskrabbit. I communicated to the person who had accepted the task the night before and the morning of and they were late getting there, then told me they would be there several times and then just stopped responding. I was left having to move several heavy items with an injury and a person who could barely pick up their side of the items. My suggestion is buyer beware and make sure you have a back up or can push off to another day if you choose to do business with them.What made this even worse wise, the almost threatening way in which the customer service department referred to they would need to thoroughly look at both sides to determine if I needed to be charged or not. There was ample evidence that the ****** had stopped communicating and they could see that in the chat function. These types of services were there is no oversight and its essentially a technology company making money to connect. You are problematic at best.

    The company charges on an hourly bases, but claims that they cannot charge anything under an hour and must charge for the full hour even if the full hour is not used. They also do not specify this until the charge has been charged already. This is unethical as it charges a customer for more than what may be used. I was charged the full hour for a task that took *********************************** customer service, I spoke with ***** who told me this policy was stated upon booking online as well as in my confirmation email. I explained to ***** that this was not stated online as well as informed her that a confirmation email was never sent to me. I explained to ***** how I feel this is unethical and not a good way to treat people and requested to only be charged for a half hour. My case was then escalated to Marg who said she understood my issue and was ready to help, yet has not responded to my email to her. The full charge is currently on my account and it appears the customer service team is not interested at all in solving the issue or making sure the company acts ethically towards its customers and enjoys over charging and scamming them.

    Absolutely horrible customer service. Our person they sent not only built the ends incorrectly, causing risk of harm for my child- but they stole all the extra screws and pieces so we couldnt fix it. Then they refused to do a refund, instead offering credit to hire someone else- which I wont use because I dont trust the quality of the individual they would send. Submitting a chargeback with my bank today due to them not abiding by their own 100% happiness guarantee.

    I did not receive a response to the task I had requested on Task Rabbit so I cancelled my work order earlier today. To make matters worse, my credit card was charged $29.94 and the work was never performed. Since they do not answer their home office telephone nor do they answer Live Chat on their website, I will be filing a dispute with my bank for their fraudulent, deceptive billing.

    I hired a ****** to mount a ** and when the job was done all seemed fine. Im preparing to move out of my apartment and had shock taking the ** off the wall to find 1 inch holes in the wall. The ****** left so much damage but they were able to conceal it behind the bracket for the **. They have a 30 day happiness period but no other support for hidden damage that *** take more than 30 days to discover. They didnt even offer to contact the ****** or let me amend my review. They literally said sorry, cant help and closed the support chat and didnt even offer me an opportunity to discuss further. Never in the history of mounting a ** have I seen huge holes left behind like this.
