  I have used TaskRabbit services over the past few months, and four out of five contractors behaved in ways that were inappropriate and, in some cases, threatening to my personal ********** ****** was not the same individual as shown in the TaskRabbit profile photo.Another became loudly angry when I asked about a service I believed was included, and his intimidating behavior made me feel unsafe.A third contractor performed the service incorrectly, blocking access to my water heater.Another ****** who returned to my home days later under the pretense of looking for a lost device. After I provided my phone number in good faith, he used it to ask me out on a date.These incidents raise serious concerns about TaskRabbits vetting process, contractor accountability, and customer safety. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed for potential violations of consumer protection and business practices.

  On 09/07/2025, I experienced significant issues with TaskRabbit's service.The first ******:Changed the original scheduled time without proper communication Took pictures of my building's exterior but never entered the lobby Never attempted to contact me directly Falsely claimed they couldn't find me and canceled the job Charged $83.56 for a service never performed I was forced to reschedule with a second ******, who properly:Arrived at the building Notified the lobby receptionist Completed the service as requested Charged an additional $83.46 When I contacted TaskRabbit customer service for a refund of the first failed service, they:Refused to issue a refund Claimed the first ****** had shown up despite clear evidence to the contrary Only offered store credit instead of a proper refund This appears to be a scam practice where Taskers can charge for services never rendered, and the company provides no real resolution for customers. I am out $83.56 for a service that was never performed.Potential customers should be aware of this scam practice apparently allowed by TaskRabbit. The company's refusal to properly address the issue is deeply concerning.

  This business *****. I hired them to put together **** furniture.1st installer contacted me the scheduled day of the installation and informed me he couldn't come because he got injured on the previous job.Scheduled with a second ********** After scheduling my appointment, contacted me and told me he needed to move the time later in the day, then never showed up for the agreed time. DON'T USE THEM!!!

  Ive worked really hard on TaskRabbit, kept clients happy, and earned high ratings. Recently, TaskRabbit restricted my account, claiming I had violated terms but refused to tell me which task, what action, or what proof they have.I waited weeks for their review process, only to receive a generic copy-and-paste message about circumventing payments. When I asked for specifics, they repeated the same vague statement and said their decision was final and cannot be appealed.This is not how a professional platform should treat people who contribute to its success. I am requesting a full explanation of the alleged violation, along with any evidence used to make this decision. I also want my account reinstated so I can continue working in good standing.

  They are abusers and they dont do their assigned task. They tamper with your account so you cant request a refund. They wont give you back your money for failure.

  May 2025, I needed some minor Sheetrock work. I selected a Taskrabbit tech and initiated the chat. The tech responded and asked for pictures of the project but didnt respond any further. May 30th he arrived at my door without any follow up or confirmation and immediately stated. I called you from outside and once Im here youre charged an hour. He also said I only participate with Taskrabbit to get customers, I really work for a major construction company. He was rude and critiqued the project area and began to criticize prior and ongoing work of another contractor that had nothing to do with *********. He repeatedly tried to convince me to take on a much larger project that would involve a complete gut while repeating, I work for a major contractor, Taskrabbit is not what I do. I just use it to meet customers. I asked him to leave. I was billed for the visit while the tech had no intention on doing the work. I called Taskrabbit repeated and got no answer. Not even an AI several times. I did receive an automatic reply to my email but no resolution to what I call a scam. Obviously some of their technicians will set up appointments and arrive because they get paid up to 2 hours once they show up. The gimmick is they get your billing info first. I just didnt expect them to be dishonest since they are getting so much business now. Be wise and careful

  I hired a very skilled but received charges to my credit card that were not in my taskrabbit account. These charges were fraudulent and showed the company's telephone number instead of the usual ************************-though I just found out that the taskrabbit company is in ********I now understand why under the BBB they have an F rating. This is a dubious business.I want to alert all consumers.

  Booked a same day appointment.. it was cancelled that night with replacement choices, booked two days later, was cancelled same morning with replacement choice that was also cancelled. Made and hour long call which was supposed to be fixed ,In my opinion,They should have paid for a free service seeing that I had to hire someone to be at my location for the tv mount. Supposedly the ****** was supposed to reach out, someone did reach out with a smoked number (no call back). The best thing to do is take the people off there.Who needs task rabbit
