  I have used TaskRabbit services over the past few months, and four out of five contractors behaved in ways that were inappropriate and, in some cases, threatening to my personal ********** ****** was not the same individual as shown in the TaskRabbit profile photo.Another became loudly angry when I asked about a service I believed was included, and his intimidating behavior made me feel unsafe.A third contractor performed the service incorrectly, blocking access to my water heater.Another ****** who returned to my home days later under the pretense of looking for a lost device. After I provided my phone number in good faith, he used it to ask me out on a date.These incidents raise serious concerns about TaskRabbits vetting process, contractor accountability, and customer safety. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed for potential violations of consumer protection and business practices.

  This business *****. I hired them to put together **** furniture.1st installer contacted me the scheduled day of the installation and informed me he couldn't come because he got injured on the previous job.Scheduled with a second ********** After scheduling my appointment, contacted me and told me he needed to move the time later in the day, then never showed up for the agreed time. DON'T USE THEM!!!

  They are abusers and they dont do their assigned task. They tamper with your account so you cant request a refund. They wont give you back your money for failure.

  May 2025, I needed some minor Sheetrock work. I selected a Taskrabbit tech and initiated the chat. The tech responded and asked for pictures of the project but didnt respond any further. May 30th he arrived at my door without any follow up or confirmation and immediately stated. I called you from outside and once Im here youre charged an hour. He also said I only participate with Taskrabbit to get customers, I really work for a major construction company. He was rude and critiqued the project area and began to criticize prior and ongoing work of another contractor that had nothing to do with *********. He repeatedly tried to convince me to take on a much larger project that would involve a complete gut while repeating, I work for a major contractor, Taskrabbit is not what I do. I just use it to meet customers. I asked him to leave. I was billed for the visit while the tech had no intention on doing the work. I called Taskrabbit repeated and got no answer. Not even an AI several times. I did receive an automatic reply to my email but no resolution to what I call a scam. Obviously some of their technicians will set up appointments and arrive because they get paid up to 2 hours once they show up. The gimmick is they get your billing info first. I just didnt expect them to be dishonest since they are getting so much business now. Be wise and careful

  I hired a very skilled but received charges to my credit card that were not in my taskrabbit account. These charges were fraudulent and showed the company's telephone number instead of the usual ************************-though I just found out that the taskrabbit company is in ********I now understand why under the BBB they have an F rating. This is a dubious business.I want to alert all consumers.

  ****** Came and drove truck over lawn and damaged lawn and edges.I took photos and videos shared with both **** and Taksrabit.Both of them are sending my case to each other. Employee of TaskRabbit who did damage and I got ****** via ****. Both of them are not taking responsibility and asking me to reach out each other. Shame on both of them with all evidence not even single call made to customer.

  Terrible customer “support” !!! I hired two taskers to complete a move for me which they did perfectly well. I have no complaints about the taskers themselves. I paid them both through the app at the time the job was completed. That should’ve been the end of the story. Two weeks later I received an email from Taskrabbit saying that there was a problem with my payment to one of the taskers and I still owed for his services. I checked my bank account and the payments to BOTH taskers had cleared my bank two DAYS after the job. I tried to reach customer support through the chat feature and it was an INCREDIBLY slow experience. I gave up after 1.5 hours and submitted my complaint to their website. I received an email in response from their customer support team and from there it went downhill. No matter what I said to this guy, no matter that I showed him a screenshot of the charges clearing in my bank statement, he stood his ground that I owed this money. And to make matters worse, they charged my bank AGAIN for the payment they felt they were owed. But that STILL wasn’t the end of this story. I filed a dispute with my bank for the unauthorized charge and, 3 days later (today), Taskrabbit charged my bank account AGAIN!! If you’re counting, that’s each tasked getting paid TWICE for ONE job. To make matters worse, I used ******** as my payment method on the account, which I can’t remove, and I’m not even sure how they were able to charge my account today because when I filed the dispute with my bank they deactivated my old bank card (tied to ********) and issued me a new card which I did NOT update in ********. Choose another company for your handyman or mover needs - this company is very bad to do business with.

  I had a cleaning team break 2 items-one of which is worth quite a bit of money as an original piece of art. Worse, they covered it up and I didn't discover the damage until recently. TaskRabbit said that because I was over their 30 day policy (by 5 days), they could do nothing. To top it off, this team created a new listing on the site because it turns out that their reviews were in the toilet. Never again and I will ensure I share this information far and wide. They are a shady company.
