  TaskRabbit is a ripoff business. Company charged me for hourly service to mow my yard and charged me $211+ for a small **************** yard. It doesnt take over 30 minutes to mow my grass! Service requested was for biweekly mowing at $49 every two weeks. Opened dispute with my ******************* and they sided with TaskRabbit. Please get rid of anything with this company. Do not provide them with your credit card information. NEVER AGAIN! You will regret it later.

  Wish I had read this review ************ warrantee is absolutely useless.The worker came in an damaged my flooring during their installation.I submitted paperwork to the company through their claims department which I began to realize was not here to resolve the matter but only serves to find whatever reason they can not to act in good faith and reasonably. Delay after delay excuse after excuse, wasting my time and not acting in good faith.I am left no other choice but to go to court to claim damages. I wish I had read and trusted reviews before engaging with this company that have absolutely NO accountability

  I booked a mover through TaskRabbit who supposedly has a 5.0 rating with 550 satisfied clients. His name is ****** (Miami Area) and he was supposed to show up on September 12, 2023 at 10AM. I took a day off from work in order to get this move completed. At 10:20 I texted him to see where he was. He called me back and told me that I had no right texting him and that he decided not to come. He was very rude and hung up on me. About 20 minutes later I received a text from TaskRabbit telling me that ****** wasn't coming and I needed to book someone else. TaskRabbit did not apologize; they just wanted me to book with another person for later in the day. The morning was shot; I lost a day's pay, took a day off from work and now I need to restart the process. Instead I plan to hire people on my own and rent a U-Haul. Everyone on TaskRabbit has a 5.0 rating and numerous positive reviews. This is fabricated and not true.

  I had booked a job and subsequently provided detailed information and pictures via email to M., the Taskrabbit professional. In the email, I even mentioned that he had the option to disassemble the sofa if it would facilitate the move. I explained the job comprehensively, supported by pictures.Unfortunately, M. arrived an hour late for the job. Upon arrival, he informed me that he couldn't handle the task alone and required another person. He proposed returning the following day with an additional helper, but this would cost an extra $70.00, independent of the payment I made for today's service via TaskRabbit. To add to the frustration, M. did not perform any work and promptly left, asserting that he would still charge me for an hour's worth of service. This experience has been incredibly disheartening.I am a disabled senior citizen, and it appears that I may have been taken advantage of in this situation.

  My first two times using them went great! But my most recent experience resulted in the ****** fraudulently charging me for 7 hours of labor when he was there <2 hours. We had agreed on a flat rate of $500 + service fees, and because they falsely put 7 hours, my service fees went from <$80 to over $200. I tried to reach out to customer support, and they just kept saying that because I agreed to a flat rate, I somehow agreed to be charged for 5 extra hours of service fees??So then I had to waste my prep period calling my bank to dispute the falsified charges instead of doing my ****** planning for the kids. Still don't have my $150 back...

  Hidden fees Our ****** was amazing. Actually, beyond amazing. Great communicator, super attentive to all details and we wanted to tip him but then task rabbit took $50 on top of the three hours we agreed to pay. They call it a TRUST FEE. What is that??? Scammy scammy scammy Buyer beware

  I hired a ****** to perform a move out cleaning to a vacant 800 sq house. The ****** accessed with the keypad. After 3 hours of work, charged $305.49, the house looked like it has not been touched. I contacted the TaskRabbit Support and provided photos. They offered to credit $134.64 and told me that it is the best and final offer and the claim will be closed after 3 days. The whole thing to me is a baloney. Within TaskRabbit's technology platform frame work, the ******, who has done nothing on the agreed upon task, and yet still collected payment from customer. ********************** admitted that the ****** is at fault, but claim that TaskRabbit does not monitor, oversee or direct the ******. TaskRabbit disassociates itself to the ****** yet having unqualified and unethical ****** on the job. Customer is getting screwed at the end.

  I hired a "******", date & price accepted. When I contacted him for assurance that he would have the labor and truck to complete the haul, he wanted to raise the price to hire another worker. - This was a job to move a long heavy couch and he expected to come here my himself?? He had 5-stars on their website claiming he could move, haul, etc. - When I contacted TaskRabbit support, I was told I could not leave a review since I cancelled the "******". He would retain his 5-stars unless he botched a job. - -- Do go for the *****************!!

  Don't pay the ***** I did now they said my background check won't be done until the end of September. I want my refund back. This is ******** ... I paid it at the end of June. They said my fee is non- refund able well some one is gonna give me my money back. Or I am gonna be doing some calling.
