      Completely inadequate for full pay in advance custom order for garage door.-Doors ordered Monday 5/19/25. I was told someone would contact me within 2 business days for site visit on contract.-5/23/25 still no message. Sent email to millwork and called. Got *** who said he would call for status. *** called me back and said the installer that handles appointments was out until tuesday. Said he didn't know who the installer was but gave me phone number 877-526-xxxx as his contact. This number is Clopay.-5/27/25 Spoke to representative at ******. She contacted D&D doors to have the appointment representaive give me a call. She said she also e-mailed them with my phone number. ***** Garage Doors ****************-5/30/25 called again to ******. Said D&D were supposed to contact me may 27. Would send an email to them. I brought up that I have already paid in full on my credit card and should have the charge reversed until I am contacted. said I should be contacted the next couple of days.

      Purchased laminate flooring from Home Depot and their contractor Orange Room was to install. Install date was March 27. 2025 for a 3 day install. 1/4 of the laminate was put down but was making crackling and popping noise when walked on. Still unknown what the problem is, materials OR the contractor did something wrong. 9 weeks later this has been directed to resolutions only just now. No repairs no idea when the job will resume or if we will get a refund. Biggest mistake we made opting to use this service. Never again. Hugely frustrated and disappointed with Home Depot and their customer care.

      The Home Depot store on **************** has agreed to two separate work orders only to have them both cancelled. The first was for a dryer installation 3 months ago. They delivered my dryer, showed up and said they couldn't install it because the ventilation duct was too long and they're not allowed to use existing equipment. Mind you, I didn't ask them to use my old vent, just plug a new one into the extension. ****. ITS A HOUSE **************** I've bought a security door from my local store. I went online to schedule installation. It took them 2 weeks to schedule measurement and they've just now called to inform me my measurements were correct. Yay! But then they refuse to install the door anyway because I didn't buy it off the design page. Yup, The Home Depot won't install a security door THEY SOLD YOU if its off the shelf, it has to be specially purchased off the design page.I am tired of The Home Deport promising installation services only to cancel out because of some absurd procedural fine print. They are scamming people out of small amounts by charging visitation and measurement fees only to cancel the actual job later. These conditions should be disclosed to customers up front!

      DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR KITCHEN RENOVATION.What started as an exciting project turned into a year-long nightmare. Home Depots incompetence, poor communication, and unqualified contractors left us with an unfinished kitchen, visible shims, misaligned cabinets, and a countertop with structural flaws.The installer showed up alone for a massive job, dropped a 12-foot cabinet on himself (causing injury and damage), and installed the cabinets off-centermaking some doors unusable. Home Depots solution? A giant filler piece to hide the mistake.Months of delays followed. Wrong measurements. Missing parts. Loose panels. Poor workmanship. They eventually let us hire our own ********* to finish the trimbut refused to let the installer fix the most visible flaw because it was outside the ********* theyve sent a ******** release claiming the job is complete. Its not.This was supposed to be a custom kitchennot an overpriced, misfit patch job. Home Depots process was a disaster from start to non-finish. Avoid them at all costs.

      This is not in regard to the local store, but the customer ********************** team over the phone. We purchased three items and one came in damaged. The first ****** we spoke with was great and processed the return. The email said to return all items, so we did. We got an email saying that one item was processed for return. We called and the ****** we spoke with this time took about 30 minutes of hold time to say the truck company that picked the items up did not have but one of the other items and they would open a ticket but couldnt refund us. This was approximately a $5000 purchase total. I expect better service from Home Depot. Be careful if you have to return something and they send the ********* to pick up your items, make sure you get a copy of any paperwork saying exactly what was picked up.

      We recently purchased a washer and dryer this pas t April and it was installed incorrectly by the warehouse workers at home depot. The legs were not put on either product and it was not installed correctly on the pedestals. After the washer and dryer were delivered, I washed a few items and the washing machine was vibrating as well as my water pipes which ruptured after the installation by home depot that same day. I had to have my water service shut off for a day and have emergency plumbing service on a Saturday which was expensive. At this time I spoke with several managers and the issue has not been resolved at this time. This situation has been ongoing for a month now.

      I want to give zero stars. I purchased a ******* camping blanket from Home Depot which I washed before using and it all stitching came out in the wash. I followed customer ********************** instructions for return and got proof of successful return. I received no refund or replacement and no emails or calls to update the problem in spite of many calls I made to customer **********************. I am hoping Better Business Bureau can help because even though it is a small item, it is no way for a huge company to be. They have our money and the damaged item and won't return either. They are not trustworthy!

      I am a longtime Home Depot customer that bought one of the protection plans and have to say this has been the worst plan I have ever had to deal with. I am going to post this everywhere. I bought a hot water heater protection plan. The hot water heater cost ****** and an additional ***** for the protection plan for a total of ******. It broke after 4 years. Called the company after weeks of back and forth with no hot water. They stated we needed to get a plumber to perform a diagnostic to determine if the water heater could be repaired or needed to be replaced. We paid ****** and was reimbursed ****** of which I am out ******. The plumber diagnosed that the heater would need to be replaced. We had to pay ******* for the new hot water heater and installation of which ******** said they would reimburse us ****** plus tax and would not pay towards the installation. This plan cost me ****** between the plan of ***** and the balance of ****** for the diagnostic to get reimbursed ******. Save your money and do not buy the protection plans. Im so angry and feel as though I was duped and do not want to do business with Home Depot. They sell these products and push them on the consumers knowing this is a crooked system. I had done business with this company for some 34 years. This is a scam and I will be sharing this with the better business bureau.

      Buyer Beware - Refund Policy I purchased a rug online and had to return it because of it started to tear in one of its sections. This rug was still under manufacture warranty, so I started the process to return the rug but since it was thru a third-party vendor, no customer ********************** *** was familiar with how it should be returned. I spoke to 6 ***s and finally got someone with the knowledge on how this should be accomplished.The rug was pick up by *** and delivered back to the warehouse on May 15 but I have not received a refund yet. It seems that merchants may charge you immediately for an item but take their own time reimbursing your refund which is not fair to the consumers, so buyers beware because to this date I have not received a credit to the card used.

      Very beginning I had issues: ordered a washer/dryer, confirmation email/site said I would receive an automated call the day before with a delivery window/30 minutes before delivery the day of. Never received anything. Did my do due diligence to get any information about delivery. Day of delivery: text message within the window stating it had been delivered to the address. 4 hours of waiting, never saw a truck go by for delivery. I called again and was told they had the correct address/picture taken of where the units went/no address. Convenient right? Put on hold, apparently trying to get a hold of the delivery service. While on hold I had another call from Home Depot asking how the delivery went, that person tried to figure out what happened. Told me the system had been down for 40 minutes. System down for 40 minutes when they were able to pull up pictures of where it was delivered?While on Hold the delivery service showed up saying they went to the wrong address. 1 unit of 2 in the doorway-they couldnt fit it down the stairs because the door was in the way. It was deemed undeliverable due to not having the door off the hinges. Notes section asked to have them remove the doors. Only certain hinges can be removed which wasnt stated anywhere. Give us detailed instructions of what can and cant be removed or tell us over the phone. Now I had to call again because it was suppose to be rescheduled and I was suppose to receive a call. Told over the phone they have a different phone number (happens to be my aunts number because she bought me the units). I just went from the correct phone number to the wrong phone number (her info was only in the billing section NOT the delivery address section).Home Depot should be ashamed of their delivery services. I thought **** was bad. This is 1000 times worse. Discounts are great but not worth the frustration. Id rather pay the extra money than go through this again.
