2 starsI purchased an air conditioner/purifier from them. The workers there made sure the one I was going to grab was stocked in front, I opened it at home, and it was used, at least the plastic grill was. This happens often and is political.The Home Depot

1 starIm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Home Depot. I was initially approved for a price match by one customer ********************** representative, only to have another refuse it later without any valid explanation. It felt like they just kept changing their story to avoid honoring their own commitment.On top of that, the customer ********************** was shockingly poorrude, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve the issue fairly. I wasted my time and energy only to feel completely frustrated and disrespected.NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!!Review fromRichard V

1 starHome Depot in ********* on ***********. We purchased a new front door and storm door. The front door was not installed properly and we are unable to lock the storm door. They claim my Sheetrock is warped, so they left a half inch gap and now my interior molding is not flush with my wall. This gap begins halfway at the center top of the door and continues to the top left corner and runs down from top left corner to center of left side of door. The installer should have planed the interior protrusion so the molding would be flush, but did not. Instead, he came back to our home and filled the gap with caulking. Customer relations stated he did the best he could with a warped wall.Our new ******** storm door cant be locked. We have repeatedly called but the situation has not been addressed. When I threatened with a lawsuit, I was informed that upper management would reach out, and they have not. Do not patronize this store. If you are looking for home improvements, please use reputable companies who are experienced and knowledgeable of the type of service you are looking to have done. Their installer, informed me he should have done something else when he noticed this issue with the front door. When I asked him why he didnt do it, he answered good question. This problem is on-going and to date the problems have not been rectified. They are great with promising you a great job with great installers, but they lie and do not stand behind the work of the installers they contract with. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!Review fromArthur M

1 starI was informed by Executive Escalations, Customer Solutions Team that a restriction has been placed on my account by the online investigation team. I was informed by the Executive Escalations, Customer Solutions Team the online investigation team has restricted my account to only refunds/returns in local store and no discounts due to the excessive requests for discounts on several orders. I do not understand the ramifications for the restriction. I asked for the online investigation team to reach out to me to give me A specific justification for the restriction on my account to no avail. I was also informed by the Executive Escalations, Customer Solutions Team that the online investigation team would not provide documentation. This is very unprofessional, very poor customer **********************, and unacceptable. To place a restriction on my account is malice, discrimination, and violation of my civil rights. I am requesting the online investigation team, if one exist, contact me in writing for specific details on the restrictions. I am inclined to believe that some inept prevaricator with no authority placed the restriction on my account. I have been a Cardmember with Home Depot since 1992, 33 years. I have spent lots of money with Home Depot for the last 33 years. It is unacceptable for a customer with longevity for 33 years to receive this type of treatment.UNACCEPTABLE!!!!The online investigation team does not have a valid justification to place a restriction on my account.I AM REQUESTING THE ONLINE INVESTIGATION TEAM REMOVE THE RESTRICTION FROM MY ACCOUNT!!!Review fromGeorge M

1 starWhen you order online they will tell you it is in stock and will be there is a week or less. Its a lie they take your money send you an email in two days saying it is back ordered. Then they just expect you to hang until they finally get the product. Either they do this on purpose or they are incompetent at counting stocks/ web design.Review fromJustin S

1 stari wish there was a zero stars option.I ordered a few power tools online and from the very beginning something was wrong. delivery date was may 25 but the order wasn't in transit until may 30, (i submitted the order may 25) i figured it was simply a system error. after waiting 10 days from the "order in transit" email, i called to cancel the order. long story short, it took a month and 5 different phone calls totaling 2.5 hrs on the phone with some of the worst customer ********************** agents i have ever dealt with. i was flat out refused help by all of them. and they all have me conflicting information about the shipper. i basically got the run around every time i was on the phone with them. this was not a small amount of money (over $1000)finally i opened a dispute claim with my CC and i informed them that i was going through the BBB and my CC to resolve this issue, they again told me they couldnt speed up the refund process ( by this time it had been over a month since the original charge to my CC.) coincidentally i recieved email confirmation of my refund being processed 30 minutes after informing them of my going through my CC. either very coincidental timing or it took that much threatening to receive my refund. i tend to think its coincidence, because i have never dealt with more apathetic and rude customer ********************** agents. rude in that they constantly interrupted me and just repeated the same scripted response.Review fromPaul M

1 starOrder #WN24399051: This morning 7/2/25, I placed an online order with Home Depot. On the web page, it said if I ordered in the next 22 minutes, I could expect same day delivery. I placed my order and received a confirmation email indicating delivery would be today and my order had been shipped (but not out for delivery). Shortly after noon, I checked the status of my order and it now said estimated delivery on Saturday, July 5th. The notation of ordering "in the next 22 minutes" was an incentive to not delay in ordering, and it worked. I ordered immediately, but now find it may not arrive for four days. If my order does not arrive today, I will consider this false advertising and would strongly caution Home Depot for not living up to its advertisement.Review fromBaby T

1 starI purchased Whirlpool 36 inches Refrigerator on May5, 2025 and it as delivered on May 31, 2025. Since we were remodeling the kitchen, we did not attempt to look into it, when we try to install yesterday (June 30, 2025) we found that it does not have the water dispenser so i went to the store at the location ******************************************** and spoke to the Return desk employe. He then advised to speak with a manager. I explained to him that we have not yet installed the refrigerator and we would like exchange it for model with a water dispenser, he told me that there is a 48 hours policy, requiring the turn time after the delivery. I found that it is clearly states there is a 90 day return window and that the 48-hour policy applies if there is a issue with the product.I went back to the stoer Despite this,, he still told me that we could not return or exchange the refrigerator. I then contacted Customer ********************** today (7/1/25) and spoke to ****. She repeated the same policy and told me I could try to sell the regrigerator on social meida and they buy a new one. I explained that there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator- we simply need one with water dispenser.. I do not feel this is acceptable customer **********************. Advising customer to sell appliances on social media instead of providing a proper exchange is not reasonable, especially when the return policy should apply even willing to pay a restocking fee and a get a different model from the store that suits our requirements.I asked her the manager;s name at the appliance department and she gave ***** **** (Manager) and ***** ***** (Assistant Manger). I went to store and i met the same supervisor i spoke yesterday. I explained again that we would like to exchange the refrigerator and willing to pay the restocking fee, he told me that ***** **** just stepped for lunch and will be back in an hour.I went back at 1:30 pm and they told me we can return it with restocking fee. 1 starIve had a bunch of problems with my floor replacing them and buying new floors within a short period of time. I probably got the new flooring 2 or 3 years ago and Ive been having problems with my floor in my house ever since. HomeDepot has lied to me about the floor warranty. The guy came and replaced my kitchen flooring under a year ago now. Another thing, they lied to me about gluing the floors together because they said thats how you fix the floors that are coming apart. Then I spoke to another person from HomeDepot who said this isnt true for fixing the floors. The problem Im having is that the clips that hold the floor together are coming apart and breaking somehow causing uncomfort in my home. I spoke to a store manager about this and they do not want to do anything. I highly suggest that you DO NOT BUY flooring from this place.Review fromKaren J

1 starWorst experience EVER trying to purchase a washing machine.I purchased a washing machine for my daughter, it was to be delivered a week later on 6/23 but the "truck broke down" so they rescheduled her, not for the next delivery but another week out. Then the delivery drivers LIED and said they attempted the delivery on 6/27/25, well the security system and cameras say they never even showed up never mind attempted to deliver - the camera tell the truth !! I then called the ********* store on Saturday and got *****. She wasn't able to assist because the delivery company does work on weekends... anyone surprised yet ? Now comes Monday 6/30/25 I called corporate AGAIN and got ****** H (at this point no last names will be given) I told ****** she needed to come up with a solution or we would just cancel. After a little more talking which lead to no answers I asked for her supervisor. She put ******** P on the phone who informed me that ****** CANCELLED THE ORDER - clearly out of spite at this point !! ******** P spent the next hour trying to get the order back but nope... once it done THATS IT. So now I asked her for a solution and she told me there was nothing she or anyone could do and i needed to start a new order which would be another 10 days to be delivered. The Monday 6/30/25 call with ******** P was 3 hours and 16 minutes... and I ended up with NOTHING !! No problem Home Depot - while I was on the phone... waiting for ******** to come up with a solution KNOWING SHE COULDNT, I went online to ********* and purchase a washing machine from them and it will be delivered to my daughter on Wednesday 7/2/25. I also spitefully sold all 1575 shares of my Home Depot stock today and purchase Lowes stock with my proceeds. I put my money where my mouth is and it will never be with Home Depot again !! I will go out of my way to never shop at Home Depot again and I have a large extended family so wait till I drop this tea on the family, we will now be a Lowes family !!
