1 starI was told that my credit wouldn't be affected by their "soft pull" however this was not true and my credit was effected negatively. Effecting my credit in this way hurt my life and my ability to get a home refinance. A company thats this large shouldn't lie just to get a sale.The Home Depot

1 starI purchased some cabinets online from Home Depot ***********************, LA for delivery. ************* didn't deliver my full scheduled delivery but took pictures as if all kitchen cabinets were delivered. What has the world come to when delivery crews are stealing kitchen cabinets. They even signed saying everything was delivered. Took 2 hours to get refund of money. Manager refused to come to phone to speak with me when I asked if delivery crew can be connected for other portion of delivery.Review fromLeslie H

1 starI would rate them zero stars. After ordering a shed (one of their most expensive products), being charged for it, waiting six weeks, spending 10 hours plus with customer **********************, having to cancel the order, having to keep renting a moving container because they sold me a shed they couldn't deliver, I was offered a paltry gift card as a "gesture of goodwill" for which I'd have to sign over any right to seek actual compensation. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GARBAGE COMPANY.The Home Depot

1 starDON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!! If I can save even one...The HD protection plan is a scam! We paid $126 for 5 years. It's a Third party plan, ********. Our GE washer started to glitch after 2 mos. Completely stopped working after a year. It's been a month and a half. We have no washer, and no reimbursement. Scam from start to finish. Home Depot will do nothing about it. We lost $800, including the $126 for the "protection plan," because we had to buy another washer. The HD protection plan people you have to call just take calls, read from a script, repeat themselves over and over, and lie to you to get you off the phone. They resolve nothing. Just constant runarounds if you have an issue and file a claim. I had 3 repairman and a local appliance store tell me Home Depot sells major brand appliances, but they're not actually the brands, they're knock offs. Yet they still charge the name brand price. The repair guys said they work on Maytag, Whirlpool, GE, LE, etc., constantly, especially sold from Home Depot. They also said these appliances are being made to last 3 years tops. We got less than 1 year. It's been a nightmare. If you need a washer, go with a Speed Queen! So worth the extra money. Every repair guy recommended them. And stay the h*** away from Home Depot!The Home Depot

1 starI should have looked up the reviews for this Home Depot location prior to doing business with them. 1.13 is truly unbelievable! This location obviously needs to either shut down or needs new management.I signed a contract July 1st of 2024, (OVER 1 YEAR AGO) to have my kitchen and two bathrooms renovated. They still have pending open items so the job is still ON-GOING. The response time for questions or requests of scheduling from every person (with the exception of the Designer) has been either super slow or I'm just plained ignored. The contacts include upper level management which is astounding. I requested a change prior to demo of the kitchen and unfortunately, the project coordinator failed to put a pause on the job which not only messed up the entire schedule, but also caused a huge problem for me since the change I wanted to make was basically taken off the table when the ** went ahead and demo'd the kitchen (it was a change to the bartop). I have been extremely patient, way beyond what is considered normal or usual which I believe just made it easier for the ** team to drag this project on for as long as they have. I have dozens of emails proving the incompetance and/or the lack of response. There are only 3 small punch list items left which I asked for on May 23rd and they have yet to have the decency to respond. Which is why I am placing this complaint with the BBB. I want this debacle to end and I want the last three items taken care of.Aside from this and just to be clear. My entire family, numerous friends and my co-workers all know what I have gone through over the past year trying to get my kitchen and bathrooms done and they have all at various times stated, they will never go to Home Depot for contracted work. Honesty, if they had made a serious effort to correct the problems and had been responsive, I would have considered working with them (I have a floor project coming up); that is definitely off the table along w/any other projects!The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot, delivered a defective washing machine, (front encasement has separated itself from the front of washing machine) and is defective, and Home Depot or ** refuses to return and/or replace due to it not being discovered outside of the 48 hour window. We wouldnt have know this, if we hadnt had delivery driver, who had stopped out to finish hooking up water lines, that they forgot to install because they forgot them at their warehouse and it was the delivery driver who discovered it, and called his manager to let her know that we needed a complete replacement. Driver also noticed the stacking kit was also defective, therefore making the dryer unstable! Washing machine drum is exposed from the front of machine also!!! We are now 3 weeks w/o a *************** due to each party blaming each other!! Im fed up and my patience, is now non existent!!!! 1 starWhile we did not have issue with the store directly. We did have issue with the delivery throughout the process. We had our delivery set to deliver to our new home, and the delivery showed up at 6:30 am on a Saturday morning at our billing address, not the installation address. At 6:30 in the morning, I remained calm despite being told they would not drive the ten minutes to the correct address. I had to go through the process of rescheduling which took a lot of time.The second delivery did not go as planned because the delivers showed up without the stacking kit needed. Instead of figuring out a work around. They told my wife we would have to once again reschedule for a second time.During this time. I was in a meeting and received a call asking how the delivery went. I returned the call stating that the delivery never happened based on the fact that they never checked that they had everything on the truck to complete the order. They could not find my order with all of my order numbers because they were the third party installers.The third installation I had my parents assist, and they attempted to deliver another washer and dryer which was not needed. When my parents tried to explain that it was already delivered the delivery person became beligerent and stated he was going back to ** because Missouri people complain too much. My parents states all that was needed was the stacking kit. He didn't want to hear. Loaded up and said we would have to call home depot because it was our responsibility to supply the connector kit.I spoke to someone while in the waiting room in the ** the day before the fourth of July describing the situation, and simply asking for them to pick up the washer and dryer as we were so unhappy with the service that we would like to return. I spent an hour on the phone, only to be told we were ******************************************************** our garage. Again, it is not installed in our. Still in the box.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot are selling extended warranties I purchased one 4 years ago it's still current but my ** Refrigerator failed, I lost count on how mabny phones calls I have made different answer every time. Finally after a week they schedule me a service appointment for a tech to come out, missed work that day none showed up, I called back to find out no one was coming out because there is no service tech in NH to service ** Refrigerator. I begged for a new one *** we can't do that till someone comes out to look at it, scratch head so I'm screwed no techs availale around here. Now it's been 2.5 weeks I go directly to home depot and talk to a manager, *** did you file a claim with the warrenty insurance people, yes I did well since you did that nothing I can do, what why cause you filed a claim, I did what your web site says to do even showed the manager the page sorry nothing we can do. So it's July 8 a month later still nothing. ***** will help me..PLEASE don't by anything from Home Depot. **** *****The Home Depot

1 starI went to this store because a lawnmower machine that I buy from Home Depot was defective as soon I walked inside the store an employee name ******** told me what do you need super rude I explained to her the issue and she said you bought the machine is you problem now I explained to her that the machine was faulty and the warranty said 3 months for defective she said no the policy change on June 15th I asked her for a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor I told her I need another supervisor because she was rude since I walked inside the store because I was talking Spanish with my husband she called another supervisor and he asked me if she checked the machine and I told him she didnt she just said if your problem now because you purchased the machine so he checked and my exchange was denied after she didnt something in the system stating that it was not valid for exchange so I asked him I just bought this machine not even a month ago is not working and I have to take it back he was like no you can call the manufacturer I reported to corporate nothing is being done they are super racist on this store if you are Spanish dont go she was talking super good with two African American that came after me even the other employee apologized to me because how rude she was and and when you asked for the full name or work ID number you only get the first name and it may not be real just be awareThe Home Depot

2 starsExterior door install done poorly and when I went to store within the hour of installation(7-3-25) I was treated in very condescending way by *****-probably because Im old and a female. The female supervisor was very nice and said shed leave a note about the problem. After hearing nothing I returned to store afternoon of 7-7-25. First talked to a male manager who checked on order but I didnt feel like he really cared either. The female worker he handed me off to was nice. Now I wait for contractor to contact me. Another case of we will tell you anything to buy the product but dont really care after you pay for it. Next time Ill try a competitor.The Home Depot
