      Just spent over 6k in the fall and recently bought an oven for 3k that has been a nightmare for delivery and service. Forced to reschedule my delivery date, I had to call the day before to say I had yet to get a confirmation, only to be told that they actually were not coming because the date they gave me was a mistake, and they were booked up. I would have wasted a day at work if I had just sat and waited for them, since no one called to warn me that I was not getting my delivery as promised. I finally got my oven delivered and realized the door was not lined up properly, and something was off. The delivery guys told me they couldn't handle it and that I would have to call Home Depot to get a tech out. The tech called me on the wrong date and told me he was on the way to our house. When I explained he messed up, he AGREED that he called in error and would see me tomorrow. BOTH my husband and I stayed home ALL DAY on the right day, and he NEVER showed or called. When I called the cell number he called me on the day prior he answered and said he took care of it and spoke with my husband. I apologized and hung up, thinking that while I was in my bedroom on a call, I must have missed him, although I saw no one on my security camera. When I asked my husband, who was downstairs also working, he said no one came. Called the guy back, thinking he must have gotten me mixed up with another customer, and he refused to answer his phone. We both stayed home all day just for no one to show and to be LIED to! When I called customer **********************, they agreed that all of what I said was right, but refused to accommodate, knowing that their tech had screwed up and lied about visiting and that they had the wrong date in the system, seeing that I had proof since it was scheduled through the customer support chat. This was a constant back and forth pleading them to come out same day or sooner, seeing that they had screwed up one too many times.

      Ordered a Hampton ********** 6/26/2025. It was delivered 7/01/2025 and the container (box) was destroyed with parts hanging out in several places. I used bad judgment and accepted it. Pulling parts of the broken cardboard back it revealed badly bent parts of the frame. My wife and I started the return request the next day and it was a nightmare. The number of "Verification codes" alone will drive you crazy. We were told the Return Process has started but we had to schedule a pick-up time with ********* and they would contact us within 1-2 business days. This didn't happen. After quite a few calls and days a truck arrived to pick it up, however they said they couldn't take it because the box was coming apart and they will have to send another truck with a pallet to pick it up. This is July 18 and no one has contacted us. My wife contacted them to get an idea of when a pick might be and they didn't know. Side note: About a month before this I ordered a picnic table (LifeTime)and received an email about a week and a half later that it had arrived at our Baytown H.D. store. I was told all that was required for pick-up was Name address and phone number. I was at the store at 8 AM and they could not find the table or the order. Wasted time, wasted trip. At one time Home Depot was a good store but things for some reason have changed. H.D. is no longer on my go-to store.

      I ordered flooring online from Home Depot and paid extra for special delivery expected July 15th. Im 9 months pregnant, my husband just had surgery, and I had contractors scheduled the next day to begin installationeverything was coordinated around this delivery.Instead, I spent two full days chasing down answers. I called six times, was given inaccurate delivery windows, and never received clear updates. On July 16th, I was told I was next in line and that Id get a call from the driver. The app even showed real-time tracking. Then it suddenly switched to missed delivery with no call, no attempt, and no explanation.Ive spent hours on hold, had multiple calls dropped when asking for a supervisor, and still received no follow-upeven after being told the issue was escalated. I was promised discounts (which barely cover the added stress and wasted time), but no one seems to actually be able to resolve anything.This has caused major delays, financial inconvenience, and emotional stress during an already vulnerable time. Home Depots delivery coordination and communication systems are broken. I will never order from them again and wouldnt recommend anyone else do either

      ARS/Rescue Rooter (HVAC Installer) are partnered with The Home Depot. *** admitted installed too small of units and the only remedy they are offering, after MONTHS of trying to get in contact with ***************************** is to increase the units by 0.5 tons. Which, according to other experts in the area, IS NOT enough. *** refuses to answer my questions. I have to email and call and call MANY times before I get a half @ss response. The Home Depot - Customer Solutions refuses to return my call or emails. Period.

      Bought a fridge online...they took funds very promptly.Actually NO STAR RATING is warranted. It is beyond words how bad the service is. Incompetent, unreliable etc etc etc. Was sent inaccurate tracking info. I am a senior, had a fridge left on my front lawn! After requesting assistance and a call prior to delivery. Was told on customer support line with ****, a live agent that they had sent an email to ********** requesting assistance and call 30 mins prior to delivery the delivery company . Over all disgusting, disappointing customer ********************** from both companies. Quoting another disappointed customer. "Just look at all the reviews online and you will see that the vast majority of reviews are 1 star and have extremely similar stories including the ones on the Better Business Bureau website, who gave ********** a letter grade of F." Plus total disapproval of Home Depot who choose to use ********** for delivery service!!!

      I used the Home Depot Concierge Service to schedule a flooring install for my new home. The installation team did an outstanding job, but the overall experience has been poor because the organization used by Home Depot is Certified Flooring Installations, or CFI failed to procure all of the proper material for original installation. Specifically, they failed to order the correct material for 2 of my rooms and did not have any of the transition pieces available. I had to wait an extra 2 weeks for the transition pieces to arrive only to discover the transitions pieces for the master bathroom were not the correct ones. I called *** and they stated they would correct the problem, but the Miamisburg store did not have have the correct material on hand. I went to the store and discovered they had 3 pieces available. However, *** stated they would have to order the material. So I am waiting another period of time before my flooring installation will be complete. There does not appear to be organization or proper supervision/leadership over this group and I do not recommend *** due to their inability to complete my project in a timely manner with the correct material. Unfortunately, this looks bad on their installers who actually do a fantastic job.

      I had windows installed by Home Depot in December of 2024 and currently 7 months later I am still waiting on the windows to be installed correctly. I paid over 22k and they do not care.

      Trying to purchase a window AC for my house we went to the home Depot as they did a great job with my washer. At the store at ************* in asked t nearest attendant who could help me purchase one with install . He said only at customer ********************** could they do that. So I went to the front. I stood in line for 15 minutes and they weren't helping any guests I could see. Finally I figured I'd keep some dignity and did the order from home Depot dot com. Wouldn't you know they had professional installation for 179 and explained everything I can expect so I bought it with the ** ac unit. After my delivery I did not get the installation call they said I would. After explaining to customer ********************** from another country I did get an email with a company's name and number that would call but I could also call them . So I did. Turns out this company does HVAC and not window units or ," customer supplied units" so I called customer ********************** again. They told me that, that company wasn't the right one and another one would call in 24 hours. I did call after 24 hours left a vm. Then I waited and after 72 hours I figured I had to do this myself. I called customer ********************** and had them refund me. Now mind you if my AC don't work I'm passed the return policy limit so I'll be screwed if I got a lemon. This is due to a *** recall of my old unit that says it's recalled due to mold growing inside the units. So I couldn't keep the old one if in wanted to. Anyways. Due to me doing the install and not realizing the website home ************************** sold me the wrong bracket my ac took a tumble out of the window. It seems to be running now and I've gotten the correct bracket but I've gotta be honest, home Depot is only good for diy people. They don't really care about someone like me in my fifties who can't install stuff unless your talking about an operating system, network or other nerdy things. Should be 2 stars but it won't let me fix it so whatever.

      **Horrendous Return Policy Home Depots 7-Day Scam** Home Depots new **7-day return policy** for dehumidifiers, pressure washers, air conditioners, and generators is nothing short of **ridiculous** and **anti-consumer**. Who in their right mind thinks seven days is enough time to properly test and evaluate these kinds of appliances? First off, **unused and factory-sealed packaging only**? Thats an absolute joke. Most people need to open the box to even see if the product is right for them. What if it arrives damaged? What if its the wrong model? Too badHome Depot would rather s**** you over than stand by their products. And lets talk about the **arbitrary selection** of items. Why just these categories? Generators and air conditioners are **major purchases**, often bought in emergencies. If something doesnt work as expected or fails after a week, youre stuck with a $500+ paperweight. Effective **June 16, 2025**just in time for summer, when people actually need these items. Coincidence? Absolutely not. This is a blatant cash grab, forcing customers to either keep defective or unsuitable products or jump through impossible hoops. **Bottom line:** Home Depot clearly doesnt care about customer satisfaction. If youre buying anything on their restricted list, **shop elsewhere**anywhere with a sane return policy. **One star, and thats being generous.**
