1 starAbsolutely pathetic !!!! I have been a devoted card holder and customer for ****************************************************************************** a Home depot again, also I will be diverting all my construction friends and family to Lowes or Menards where they at least have employees and managers that are professional. I recently purchased a roll of electrical wire from home depot, directed by *************** only to find that he needed a larger outdoor size. I went to our local home depot with my receipt only to find out that they wouldn't exchange or return it as the plastic had fallen off, I explained to the manager that I had the wire in my car and it had the plastic with it but it was to heavy for me to carry back in. I also told him it was still in a roll the exact way I bought it since we needed a larger size we never unrolled it, the manager seemed annoyed but proceeded to ask if he could see it, I said of course and we walked to my vehicle. He glanced in my back seat and I explained to him you can see it has never been unrolled or even placed on the ground. I explained to him that the plastic was coming off when I bought it so I just kept it with it so it would stay clean. He then proceeded to tell me that the wire had been cut. I had no problem measuring the whole 250 feet of wire to prove to the manager that it was never cut or even unrolled. He was extremely unprofessional and abruptly walked away. I have been in mgmt 17 years and never treated anyone in this manner, let alone the fact that he made me feel extremely degraded as if I was lying. I left and proceeded to call the cust. ********************** number only to find out the agent stated he had no authority to remedy the situation other than to note I was very unhappy with the service. What a joke; why do you have a customer ********************** number to call if no one can even help you? There is nothing in the return policy that states if you have a receipt and need to return an item it will not be an option.The Home Depot

1 starAvondale, kitchen remodeling Home depot. Very bad service from the beginning. Never get anyone to answer, finally got an email, after multiple attempts they finally scheduled an appointment. Still waiting for them to come . 4 days later ..still no answer why they haven't shown up. Even after paying!!! Very very badThe Home Depot

1 starI recently purchased a vanity from Home Depot online and it was delivered with a cracked vanity top that i noted upon opening the top of the box. I photographed and contacted Home Depot for a return. The return was denied because they use the sketchy company called The *************** (TRE) and they denied the return. *** provided a report of my returns over the past 2 years, which was supposedly how an algorithm determined that the return would be denied. The report was a history of completely normal returns, not excessive and all with receipts. Home Depot should not be using TRE because TRE has so many similar complaints. This was a large purchase and came damaged and now I am stuck with it. Home Depot gives no indication that they use TRE and that a return can be denied. I feel scammed and taken advantage of.The Home Depot

1 starPoor customer ********************** on a filed claim. We put a claim in at Home Depot regarding our new floors that was installed. The floors were installed and within 6 months the laminate started to deteriorate. We put a claim in on this matter but never received an information back. Time has passed and 6 months later we received an email about the problem and someone came to inspected the damage. ********************************, he a private inspector not affiliated with Home Depot or Life Proof. Life Proof is the product Home Depot uses. ******************************* reports states.place a rug on high traffic area and keep dogs nails trimmed, mind you the problem started 6 months after installment. With that said the claim was denied. I contacted ******************************* and you can tell hes paid to not give a fair assessment. The Home Depot system is not meant for customers failure. I will advise people to use someone else for installation servicesThe Home Depot

1 starPurchasing a garage door opener from Home Depot could get you a frustrating experience. If you hire them to install it then you enter into a business arrangement with ****** and J&B garage door. No one really want to have responsibility after that. Home Depot said they can't refund unless ****** says so. ****** says that the installer has been advised to return to troubleshoot with *********** the manufacturer. But when called the installer he claims that he hasn't been sent the workorder. And anyway Mrs. ********* "it's just the lightbulb."The Home Depot

1 starI am so angry with Home ****. I have had their card for so many years with my card balances always being paid promptly with never a late fee. I received a notice today that they were increasing my interest rate from *****% to *****%, I called there customer ********************** this morning and told them how I felt about this and all she could say that this due to MARKET CONDITIONS. She told me that she would my comments in so they could be reviewed which they I am sure they will not. I told her to close the account and I could take my business elsewhere and listed the other companies. She really did not care.The Home Depot

2 starsI would not purchase the Mohawk flooring they sell. The warranty they include with it requires you professionally clean the carpet annually which is abrasive and takes the manufacturer protectant off the carpet leaving it more susceptible to wear and tear. My carpet has significant wear and they wont honor the warranty stating it is in high traffic areas. A warranty for low traffic areas is pointless. Then, ****** refuses communication with me stating ********** is their customer, not me. I would have been better off not to pay for the cleanings and save that money for new carpet every 10 years.Review fromMB C

1 starMy wife and I ordered appliances online and were given a delivery date. My wife noticed on the invoice that all promotional discounts were not applied so she called customer **********************. The only way to remedy the issue was to cancel the order and resubmit. Ok. So customer ********************** did their thing and we received a new delivery date that was 1 week later. Great! So during this week we receive emails from HD telling us how to prepare for the appliance delivery witch included having everything out of the way. The day before delivery, the delivery is rescheduled for 2 weeks out. I contacted customer **********************, explained that we sold all of our appliances to have them out of the way and that the 2 week delivery date does not work for us. Since the dishwasher was the hold up (out of stock) we paid more to upgrade for an item currently available for delivery. The range, refrigerator, and microwave were to be delivered today (2/12) and the dishwasher would be delivered tomorrow (2/13). This is what the customer ********************** agent assured me would happen. Guess what, this morning I didnt even get a phone call. I decided to check on my order and it had been pushed out 2 more weeks. No one working for HD seems to have any answers as to why the delivery dates are constantly changing. Given that I need to take the day off from work to be here for appliance delivery, the actual delivery date is important. It has been a horrible experience. I have never had to work so hard to spend money with a company. I have spent no less than 4 hours on the phone with customer ********************** while they researched the issue. My wife, totally exhausted with all of our efforts, decided it was too difficult to order from HD and cancelled everything. I will make sure everyone I know, knows about this experience. Home Depot.......find new vendors and get it together.The Home Depot

1 starI went in and purchased a ** Fridge and paid for installation water line and to take the old one away. When the guys got to my house 02/12/2024, I was told that they could not install/place my fridge because I have to get the water valve to be behind the fridge. :( I just want to mention I was never told this by the home Depot salesperson, how will I know this when I have a working fridge there for over 10 years? The guy told me that he sorry, but I need to have a plumber to install that valve and that how Home Depot does this to almost all their customer, and that was the reason why he checks before he removes the new fridge from their truck. I call the store this morning speaking to someone that said he was the manager and was told that the valve does not need to be right behind the fridge but at least 6 feet, now tell me who is lying, also that manager hang up the phone from me. I had to call again, I cancel my order, NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT, THIS WAS THE SECOND TME THIS ******* TO ME, THE FIRST WITH MY DRYER. Also just to mention I just call customer **********************. was told I need to call the store to speak with the manager, who hang up the phone on me call again, and the call was transfer to the online service, which the lady took my complain and cancel the order. I ask for the store manager to call me., let see if that will happen. THE WORSE OF THE WORSE......and to top it off, I spend almost two hours at the store to get the fridge, spend almost ******* paid in full, waiting on my new fridge today, don't you think if I was told I need to have the water valve behind the fridge that I wouldn't make sure there is one there. IT DOES NOT TAKE A GENUIS TO BE THAT SMART....and YES, THIS MAKE ME ONE HOUR LATE TO MY WORK TODAY TOO......HOME DEPOT, YOU NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB WITH YOUR SALESPEOPLE TO MAKE SURE NOT JUST SELL THE PRODUCTS BUT ALSO LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE THERE OR NOT FOR YOUR DELIVERY TO RUN SMOOTHLY.The Home Depot
