      I purchased an appliance from them and when it was delivered they hauled away my working refrigerator and cut the cord on it before inspecting the new one that was boxed. The new refrigerator was covered in dents & had the plug cut up; they had to tape it to get it to work. Not only did they leave me a defective refrigerator, but they tore up my floor. I waited a week for a replacement to arrive only to find out by the delivery guys on Sat. 9/17 that they couldn't haul the new one in because I needed the "white glove guys". They took pictures of the ******************** because they too were shocked by what was left in my house. They assured me that management would call me Monday morning on 9/19 and that I would get the new one delivered between **** that same day. Well, that never happened, so I called again. They said that a delivery was NEVER scheduled, but that they would squeeze me in the next day. Keep in mind that twice already I emptied the refrigerator hoping to get my new one, but no luck. On Tuesday, I received a text after 1 PM that stated that they were 2 stops away. I waited & emptied the refrigerator about 30 minutes later. By 6pm, I knew they weren't coming. That was the 3rd strike. I was done! Therefore, I contacted Home Depot & told them that I wanted a refund. This was unprofessional plus physically and mentally exhausting for me. I requested a refund since I didn't get my new refrigerator. Instead, I ended up with a torn up floor & a banged up refrigerator. I did file a claim because of the damage done to the floor and that became another nightmare; I had to file it 3x because it wasn't getting submitted to the insurance company. Bottom line, they issued me a refund, but wanted to pick-up the beat up refrigerator. I asked them for mine back in working condition, but they couldn't return it because the delivery guy had cut the cord prematurely. The online rep and the asst. ******* were not helpful; online rep was condescending.

      I'm extremely upset because of Home Depot right now - as a (now former) lifelong customer, I feel like I got scammed. I needed my thermostat replaced, so I went to Home Depot to buy another one. I bought one to my liking and decided to get it installed professionally. I scheduled Home Depot thermostat installation and when I called, I made it clear that it was for just ONE thermostat and asked for a quote. They had quoted me ~$175 USD which I thought was on the higher end but I trusted the service. We had discussed that amount only, I asked for a quote with tax and all fees included as well and got told that ~$175 amount. The day of the installation comes and they outsourced the service to another company. The installment went fine but when it came time to pay the bill it was around $300+! For some reason, Home Depot had charged me for 2 thermostat installs, after brining that up, they fixed it but the price was still around ~$280. I brought up how when I spoke on the phone to the rep, they quoted me $175 which is the only reason why I would even consider this service - but the installation person said that Home Depot charges for installation and for the guy to just show up which is why its almost 300!!! I could have gone directly to the outsourced company for half the cost. - Home Depot was NOT transparent with me about the extra charges at all even when I asked multiple times before booking. I had no option left and had to pay for the service but this is FRAUD. They are charging more with hidden fees and costs they never mentioned. I feel scammed and I'm never going back to Home Depot ever again - unethical business. I am going to report and dispute this. This simple installation was inflated in price for no reason other than Home Depot lied and hid this from me.

      I ordered patio doors and windows for my house. It took three trips for two patio doors five trips to complete the third patio door. I still have a door waiting for a warranty repair. It has taken 15 months to get this install done. Im now waiting on compensation that they dont want to give me, but they removed perfectly good doors the put in to get the right color to just trash them. Ive gone through time, room prep for every trip, removing vertical blinds, alarm system connections and moving furniture. Im also waiting for a call to put my financing on 24 months which was the original agreement. The install manager doesnt respond to calls nor emails until someone higher up tells him to.Not a great business practice.

      A sales rep came to my home in April of 2022 to sell me windows it too was one price but when he came with the contract it was a different price. After weeks and several calls he got the correct quote right. Then we order the windows in May 16,2022 wrote a check for a deposit. There have 3 attempts to install the windows once in June then in July then on September 29th 2022 but was told again they will have to be reordered which may take again up to 6,8 or ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** to small. So by now after waiting almost 6 months I just want a refund for my deposit so I can order windows from somewhere else.

      Horrible experience with the delivery guys who came today. We have used ****** in the past and they were so friendly and professional. Since we moved, The Home Depot is our closest hardware store. Home depot was definitely the opposite experience. Bad attitudes while they were here. My husband asked them a question and the guy replied, "I have headphones in." He didn't bother to take them out and continued to ignore my husband. The other delivery guy with him was just as bad ignoring conversation. We were going to get flooring installed by Home Depot but after this encounter, we won't be getting anything delivered or installed by this company again due to how uncomfortable we were made in our own home. I think the Home depot needs to put in more effort to better train on expectations and performance of people who are in customer **********************. As someone in the corporate world myself, I know that customer ********************** experience is the face of the company. Not a good look.

      NEVER AGAIN will I purchase any item from Home Depot. I ordered a GE washer/dryer unit for a rental property in Augustover a span of 1.5 months, 3 deliveries were made with the product severely damaged each time. One of those times, delivery crew damaged the pipes and walls AND threatened my tenants. There was a 4th attempt at delivery but the delivery crew failed to wait for the 15-min window and left without completing delivery. Unbelievably awful experience and so I will never shop at Home Depot again.

      I ordered a product online and the wrong item was sent. I returned it (using their return label). On July 7th I received a letter stating the credit was being issued. As of today, my account still has not been credited and they added a $40.00 late fee. This outstanding amount of $37.55 was the only balance on the card. Customer ********************** nor a supervisor was helpful. I cancelled the account! They lost a customer over such a minuscule amount. If I could give a minus -5 star rating, I would!

      I ordered a toolbox for home delivery on June 24th. I got a shipping notification that it would come July 7th. Today is September 26th and I still don't have it. I've contacted them several times and every time the delivery date gets pushed back. Every time they assure me it's on the way now and I'll have it on the delivery day. It gets bumped back every couple days. This has been going on for months now......
