1 starDO NOT BUY WINDOWS FROM HOME DEPOT. We bought brand new windows for our bedroom and bathroom. The new windows make both rooms colder than they were with the windows we replaced. The salesperson and her manager both lead me to these windows when I was really questionable about all of the moving parts. The windows leak cold air in and now its been a month since they installed them and nothing has changed. They are trying to replace some of the parts now which hasnt happened and is just dragging out this process even more. All we wanted to do was be warm this winter when we ordered NEW windows from Home Depot the week after Thanksgiving. Winter is almost over and our house is colder than it was with our old windows because of the new windows Home Depot sold us.Review fromMichael D

1 starTheir cashier named *** can not handle even the simplest critique without deciding she has the right to refuse services, that is most certainly a problem, that discourages further interactions so just because I have a complaint I cant shop here? I have to stand by while other people who do not complain get to shop here, get to move on with their day and actually get something done with out being frustrated by rude cashiers who miss count twice before I complain and then says go somewhere else with the words you can go to another line when I had been waiting in that line for like 30 minutes to punish me for saying anything about her trying to charge me for product I did not have on my cart.Review fromJeffrey W

1 starIf it was possible to leave a negative star it would be -5! To clarify this is NOT a complaint against the *** Home Depot location but the 3rd party home home delivery company that is used in this area. We purchased 3 new kitchen appliances, microwave, gas range, fridge and chose home install for all items and haul away for the old electric range. Delivery was set for the following Thursday and received notification that delivery would be between the hours of 1300-1730CST and we were stop #**. Of course this was the day of the cellular outage so no updates throughout the day until approx 1700CST when the delivery drivers called and said they would be there approx 1800CST. At 1840CST they showed up and and started to unload the items, with one of the 2 complaining about the weight/size of the fridge. They proceeded to tell us that the local warehouse had "recalled" them due to the late hour and they would NOT be removing/installing any of our items. The 2nd member of the team said another delivery team would be out in the morning to remove/install the items. The next morning upon NOT receiving a text/email about the delivery I called the 800 number for delivery issues. I was informed that there was no delivery scheduled and the soonest would be the following Thursday and stated that the drivers are NOT recalled. I went back to the local store and talked to the Manager(***** and ******) both EXTREMELY helpful. They called the warehouse manager and got us on the schedule for that evening. The same 2 delivery drivers showed up and took out the microwave and stove all the while complaining about this "extra" stop. they brought the microwave in, placed in middle of the floor and said they cannot install due to tile behind the old microwave. They then refused to remove the old fridge or bring in the new one. The drivers then up and left our home without telling us leaving the new fridge in middle of garage. There are other major issues as well but I'm out of room. PATHETICThe Home Depot

1 starIve been a customer for a really long time and just recently after continuous day after day calls to resolve a purchase that I need to make is not possible. So for 6 days now Ive tried to purchase a faucet that is not available in stores and only online and still have not got a chance to make this purchase. The representatives that *** spoken to over the past 6 days keep telling me to call back because my account is restricted for some reason. They had also somehow deleted all my history of purchases for all of last year which is not a good thing for a person with a Buisness. I need my transaction historys and now I can only go back to Jan **** and lost all my history for 2023. This is very disappointing as a loyal customer and is not acceptable. Im sorry but Home Depot is not gonna be a primary Buisness for my purchases no longer and refuse to recommend this Buisness to anyone. Definitely no stars are rewarded to this Buisness no longer. The Home Depot

1 starPurchased whole house weather resistant windows from Home Depot (HD) in 06/2021. Each mo. I overpaid the req. **** of $100.00-actual payment to HD - $500. per mo. At the onset of this transaction HD offered a 24 mo. int. free period BUT only if the acct. bal. was pd. in full by the end of the afore mentioned 24 mos. According to my Consumer Credit Report of 02/2023 the bal due from me to HD was $7,969. less $6,000. pd 02/2023-02/2024, so the current bal should be approx $2,000. which I had intended to pay in full this mo. HD is now billing my acct- re int- for the original entire *** charged,- $27,764.-from year 2021! MY q is this, why wasn't a portion of the mo overpayment I made to HD applied to the int as the required mo pymt was approx. $100. This appears to be a clerical error. So my unpaid current bal is now $9,701.51. The kicker- this *** represents INTEREST!!! The usual business practice is to send a bill for the full *** due incl any extra charges. My pymnts to HD have been set-up for auto draft-sent to HD from my check acct, in the *** of $500.a mo. It is the responsibility of HD to allocate the $$ to where they should be applied. A separate statement was not sent to me for the int and one for the principal. I still cannot reconcile the diff - something/one is out of control. If we go by their rules, they owe me for overpymts from 2021-2024- a check for approx. $18,000. will be ok! My current bal is NOT $9,701.51. Consumer cr report for the date of 02/2023, states in writing, $7,969.- less $6,000. pd from 02/2023-2/2024. My outstanding bal due should be approx. $2,000. I am not responsible for errors made by HD or bank employees, especially bookkeeping errors , not then, not now, nor ever in the future. ALL Employees should be hired on the basis of their abilities-nothing else counts! If there were a 6th star--in red-- for a poor rating I would fill it in 100 times over!!The Home Depot

1 starHome Depots warranty on refrigerator is not supported by the company. They leave customers to deal with the insurance company they contracted with. Its 26 days and our refrigerator is still not repaired. It has a bad compressor, control board, thermostat and fan. Parts are ordered but it could be another 1 to 2 weeks. Tech people havent showed up for several appointments and didnt even call. Its a young family with an 18 month old and special needs teenager. Both parents work full time and have had to take off work for Tech appointments. Home Depot has no problem letting them go without the ability to store food to cook. They are having to buy fast food. The insurance company denied providing a mini refrigerator even though its part of the contract if not fixed in 7 days. Its callous how they are treating this family who is a military veteran. The Home Depot

1 starI placed an order for doors. I was told they are available. When we picked up, they didn't have the doors. We went there 6 times to get some of them. We needed to use them, so we canceled, then, they just canceled some of them. I had to go back to the store to cancel. They found the doors. I paid again to get them. In order to confirm that we can have them, I asked them to put them in the pick-up area. Next door, we can't get them. We stayed there over 3 hours to argue. Then they said we didn't pay. Why nobody told me when I was there. Then, we overpaid again. Now, I still have a product not refunded. I have been going there over 10 times just for the one order. I won't go back anymore. It was the terrible experience ever.Review fromStephanie S

1 starI ordered a kitchen remodel through Home Depot. My husband works at Home Depot and his boss used to be a kitchen design coordinator and told us all about the cabinet makeover program, we were sold. So in October I paid for the cabinet remodel, new countertops, new backsplash, hardware in cash. We were told the project would take 3-5 days. The cabinets took 3 days in December (12/6, 12/7, 12/8) and we were so happy with them, ***** did an amazing job. The stone company came out on Monday 12/11 to do the measurements and said the countertops would be ready for installation in 3 weeks. On 1/3, I got a call from **** who works for the stone company to set up the measurement of our countertops. I told her that I believe she was mistaken and she was supposed to set up the install, she explained that they need to measure before install so I said they measured on 12/11. After putting me on hold, I was told that I was correct and that there was no delivery date for my order so I would be called back. After a week I still hadnt received anything so I called the stone company and they still didnt have any info. On 1/15 I was finally called to set up the measurement (again) by *** (again) so I explained again that we already had measurements done so then she put me on hold again, she came back and said that she meant the measurement for the backsplash so I asked if I had an install date for the countertop and she said no so I asked if we needed the countertop to measure the backsplash and she said yes. I cannot set up a measurement without the install being done first. Finally on 1/22 they came and installed the countertop, I was told by ******* (supervisor) and ***** my design coordinator that the install crew would measure for the backsplash at the same time- no surprise that didnt happen. So I had to wait for the measurement. The backsplash finally went in on 2/6. So we went from 3-5 days to 2 months. Awful experience. Will never recommend to anyone. The Home Depot

1 starI scheduled a consultation online. It showed availability for Sunday, 02/25/24 at 2:30pm. I received a call on today, Sunday, 02/25/24, from a technician and/or representative stating he needs to reschedule because he don't work on Sundays. Stating his Manager is off and they sent him seven appointments. Yet, he originally stated he doesn't work on Sundays. Which one is it? He doesn't work on Sundays, or he was just given one too many appointments and he didn't want to have to do the work? Nonetheless, this was a huge inconvenience. Very unprofessional. The Home Depot
