1 starIn January 2024 I bought a "NEW" 30 in. Electric Built-In Wall Oven and Microwave Combination with Total Convection in Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel, when it was connected it shut down after 10 minutes, I called customer ********************** and they sent this complaint to Frigidaire.Frigidaire sent a 3rd party company to fix the "NEW" oven and after it was "fixed" the technician turned it on and it automatically shut off. He mentioned that the oven required a replacement and that I should get a refund. He filled out his report and gave it to his company. After this Home Depot customer ********************** said that they would replace the oven as long as our local Home Depot was willing to take the oven. We called our local Home Depot and the manager agreed but went on vacation for two and during this time another manager called us back saying he could not take the oven back. I called homedepot.com again and I was told that they were going to send someone to pick up the oven a process a refund, the next I received a call from the 3rd party repair company to set up an appointment to repair the oven. Home Depot and Frigidaire have not resolved this issue and the oven has been sitting in my kitchen for almost 2 months completely useless, a complaint has also been filed against Frigidaire. After this extremely disappointing experience I'm just hopelessly waiting for a refund and to cancel my credit card at Home Depot, I rather spend my money somewhere else than go back to Home Depot. Their customer ********************** even though courteous has been completely useless and indifferent to their **************** review because the website won't give me the choice of choosing 0. So, consider this review a 0.The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased a refrigerator there and bought a 3-year protection plan. We needed to use it for the first time this week and they told us that our protection is up this July. We should have another year as far as we're concerned from July because the refrigerator comes with the one year warranty and if you're purchasing a three-year extended warranty it shouldn't include that first year which is what they told me today. So this is consumer fraud.The Home Depot

1 starMy father has had an active Home Depot account since 2007. He is 94 years old and upset to learn his name and card has been taken off account. He (*************************) and my mother (***********************) were on this account. I tried 4 times to talk to Citibank to get this issue resolved but was informed they have millions of customers and cannot make an exception. What exception? Our question is why delete an excellent customer account - paid in full each and every month?I do all their shopping now and can assure you Home Depot will not be getting our business. I dont believe Home Depot even cares. I will drive a mile further to Lowes from now on.The Home Depot

1 starOn February 18, 2024 I ordered a shower kit that was advertised to contain the base and shower walls and wanted it delivered. When the delivery was made all I received was the base. Called customer ********************** and was told the wall kit was on a separate delivery and should be delivered on February 26 and if not then call customer ********************** back on March 3 to let them know it had not been delivered. I was then informed that the shipment was damaged and had to be returned. I said okay fine just get me another on the way. Then I was told that the entire order would have to be returned and I would have to place a new order and I would receive a refund on the first order in 3 to 5 business days after the base that I received was picked up and returned (what the hell!). I was already charged and paid for over $900 for the first order and now had to place a new order. I was at least given a $150 discount for the trouble but now had over $900 out for the 1st order and another $700+ for the second order. All items for the new order were delivered today on March 7 and I did receive a refund for the 1st order so all is finally good except for the delivery today. My wife was the only person home at the time of the delivery and the delivery person actually asked my wife for a tip. I don't tip our mail carrier or *** driver unless they have done something outside of the normal duties and we paid for the delivery service from Home Depot.To me the easy solution to this whole ordeal would have been to just ship me a replacement wall kit that was never delivered instead of sending another carrier to pick up the base that I had, then require me to place a new order.This was actually my first purchase from Home Depot and can assure you it will be my last after this.I am sure if any response to this review is made it will just be their standar copy and paste response to all reviews.The Home Depot

1 starThought I'd try them one more time. We needed some replacement blinds. We got ******* to help us right away. She was nice and took an order and gave us a a quote. The original price would be $915 but she's give us $228 off. So about $686. We have it in writing. I called the measurement company yesterday and they said they'd already sent everything to home depot. I tried to call but got endless voice mails. Finally I got someone who said ******* would call me. She never did. Today I started again. I got run around and then finally just asked for a manager. Someone answered who said his name was *******. He couldn't find the order, then said ******* was out today but there yesterday. It was chaos finding the order. Then finally he said they don't make that color in that width. Well, why didn't ******* or the measurement company tell us. ******* said they have it in another color but we'd have to drive back out there to see it. I told him we'd just take what they had. I was going to order the whole room but thankfully I didn't. Then I get a call from **** from home depot who makes lots of excuses for *******. I told her we'd just go with what they had but I wanted to go over what she had now. I gave her order number, color, darkening, and price. I told her installation was included in price. Right away she started yelling and said it never is. I told her I have it in writing. She didn't care, she said that's not a quote. Then she said if I'm not happy she'd refund the deposit. I could see she was not going to do her job. I asked for a supervisor but that will never happen.So she said she would refund my deposit but when I asked for verification she slammed down the phone.The Home Depot

1 starI bought a substantial amount of windows and doors...I was told that if I found a better price to just bring in a quote for a price match ..when I did find a better price at the competition ..I was told to get paperwork for the exact description of the windows and doors and they would reimburse me the difference...I did that...then I was told to come back when a manager was there...then they couldn't do it ...someone else needed to look at but they weren't there...I came back again...and just kept getting the run around...I tried to contact corporate and didn't get any satisfaction....The Home Depot

1 stari special ordered doors for a basement project i am doing, i gave **** opening dimension's, like asked, the doors were ordered and picked up, once i started hanging the doors i realized 3 were the wrong size, made the exact size of the **** opening, with one door jam being a extra inch deep, and the doors that ******* were of the poorest quality i ever ran into, warped jams, busted out jam finishes, and all i get from the store is sorry, we cant do anything its in the contract. There was a time that dealing with home depot wasn't so cold, and corporate feel, i know I'm not there biggest customer, and all i can do is not use them anymore on my jobs, but whatever happened to that old school way of doing things, when you would stand behind your service and product.The Home Depot

1 starWe went to home depot in *****, ***** today wanted to buy a shed 100 bags of pea gravel, landscaping logs and deck stain. Couldn't get help finally an employee was walking by my husband asked he for help and she told him when she had the time and kept walking. My order was around *******. Because of the rude person I went home destroyed my home depot credit and will never shop at home depot again. I'm now a lowes shopper at least their e.ployees will stop for you.The Home Depot

1 starDo not purchase through Home Depot. Use a local mom and pop store for better personal customer **********************. I am currently waiting for a shower delivery for two days while my crew sits idle. Project is pushed back and Home Depot offers no solution but to expedite the delivery. 1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. They talked me into a credit card to save on 18 months of interest on a washer/dryer purchase. They screwed up and issued only 6 months of interest free and refuse to fix it or give me any credit on the overages on interest. I have sent them the actual promotion paperwork proving they are ripping me off and they just dont care. False advertising- do not open a Home Depot credit card! It makes me so mad that Im switching to Loews .The Home Depot
