      I opened a home depot credit card to buy my veteran farther a Christmas present 2023. I mailed the payment IN FULL before the due date in January, however, they claim it was received 2 days late. Therefore, I was charged a late fee without knowing. Once I realized there was late fee charges on the ZERO balance account, I called and asked the fees be cleared, then close the account. What I didn't know, was that I was lied to by the person I spoke with on the phone. I was charged 3 months of late fees, plus interest, on a closed account. I called again with absolutely no support!!! They claimed they could indefinitely charge late fees and interest on closed accounts. THIS SHOULD BE CRIMINAL.

      Horrible Warranty experience. I purchased new windows in 2010. They came with a lifetime warranty. I contacted them 6 months ago for some screen replacements and a window that had a stress crack. The tech came out, took pictures and left. He returned weeks later with the screen replacements but the window was the wrong size. During this time I noticed that the seal was gone so pictures were taken and the ticket was supposed to be updated. I was calling to see the status of the windows and I would call every week. I never got any return calls and the ticket was supposedly escalated. Finally I went directly to the store and spoke with a manager who said that he would look into it. So I finally get a phone call from a representative who tells me that they restructured the department and other c*** that has nothing to do with them processing the ticket. Then the representative starts telling me that she is not sure if the window with the stress crack is covered and now I may have to pay for installation. Wait a minute, this was covered six months ago when your original technician came out to open this claim. So now you are going to try and hit me with junk fees?Additionally apparently the ticket was not escalated as per Home Depot as now I have to take new photos of the windows are we are staring over from scratch. Home Depot could not guarantee that the new ticket would be expedited either. So, they fail to perform their obligations under the warranty for 6 months, try to add in new fees and refuse to expedite the repair due to their failure to resolve this ticket.It clearly shows that Home Depot is not resolving issues on time, fails to communicate as every time I called I was told to expect a phone call within 24 hours which NEVER happened and is now trying to add own new fees? And they are unsure that the window that was covered 6 months ago may now not be covered? Their warranties are not followed through and are worthless.

      Crappy customer ********************** no warranty protection! I purchased a washer dryer in 2020 with a 5 year warranty. They now send me to a 3rd party. The 3rd party have been out 2 times and still have not resolved the washer not running or said it needs to be replaced. Don't buy a warranty through home Depot! Or appliances for that matter. warranty noun a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace it if necessary within a specified period of time."the car comes with a three-year warranty"Similar:guarantee assurance promise commitment covenant undertaking agreement (in contract law) a promise that something in furtherance of the contract is guaranteed by one of the contractors, especially the seller's promise that the thing being sold is as promised or represented.(in an insurance contract) an engagement by the insured party that certain statements are true or that certain conditions shall be fulfilled, the breach of it invalidating the policy.

      Home Depot just ripped ** off. They offered home delivery for a large appliance. Both of us are elderly and crippled to a large degree. Come to find out its coming *** and so much for delivery. Don't trust them. Every time we buy from them we get ripped off. It's hard to deal this way with them much less then in the store where you can't any help. There are many other stores to use that actually care about the customer and we will be using one of them.

      I bought $500 in wall paint 3/10/24 from the store in *********, **. We heard the employee that was mixing the paint tell another employee she hopes the red isn't getting mixed in again because people are complaining. Apparently it was because our 'white metal' paint is pink/purple. My wife went back to home depot this morning to talk to a manager about swapping it out for the color we paid for. ******, the paint manager, told her that they don't do returns on mixed paint but to be sure to come back on our next project.This is unacceptable. If this is not take care of I will file a claim in small claims court, post it on every social media account I can find and tell everyone I know what happened. I'm not asking for anything free, I just want the paint I paid for, and mixed at another location that doesnt have a problem with the mixing machine adding red.

      I bought a stacked washer and dryer had it delivered and installed. Well, partially installed, because installer said dryer cord was too short and that I needed an extension cord. I said that an extension cord on a 220 volt was a bad idea and was reassured that it "would be fine". Installer also failed to reverse dryer door swing, which I did myself. I went to HD store for longer cord and was told that they didnt have any, but I couldn't use one that I purchased myself because it would void the warranty and that they couldn't help me because I ordered the appliances online. I was given customer care phone number. Called customer care and they said that I would have to call ** and have them ship me a cord. Called ** they don't make longer cords.Returned home and plugged in dryer myself using delivered cord.( I am 62 yo woman with cancer.) Ran 1st load of wash and got error code on washer and it wouldn't shut off until breaker was turned off. Went back to HD to see about getting washer replaced. I was told that I would have to call customer care, because they couldn't help me. Called customer care and scheduled delivery of replacement washer and dryer because the unused dryer would be outside of 48 hr return window before use. Never got notification of scheduled delivery for replacements. Called customer care again, only to find out delivery wasn't ever scheduled.Found this out after being on the phone for 80 minutes and being disconnected 3 times and having to start over with a different rep each time. Decided to cancel entire order because I haven't done laundry in a month, I have tons of MD appts, and the assistance needed to resolve this issue has been non existent.Was told I would receive a call within ***** hrs regarding scheduling pick up of the returned appliances. Still waiting on that call. I need them out, so that I can have my new washer and dryer installed that I purchased elsewhere. I have received nothing but run around. This has been a nightmare!

      If i could give zero stars, i would. I ordered kitchen appliances with delivery and installation included. The day of the delivery the team "forgot their tools" and were not "qualified enough" to complete the job (their words, not mine.) They brought the appliances in, left them in the middle of my kitchen wrapped in plastic & boxed and then left. As they left, they hauled away my dishwasher that I was replacing - that was full of brand new dishes. I DID NOT PAY FOR HAUL AWAY SERVICES! I immediately contacted HD support to file a complaint regarding my order and my STOLEN dishwasher/dishes and they proceeded to tell me I would get a call from a Manager in the resolutions department within ***** hours. I never received a call, so I called once more - and was connected to someone (not a manager) who said I had to file a claim & that a manager would contact me within 48 hours... again - no manager contacted me in regards to ANY resolution. The claims adjuster DID contact me regarding my stolen dishwasher but as for any resolution from HD on my actual ORDER and ********************* there has been NOTHING. I paid for ANOTHER appliance installation team in my local area to install and finish the job I paid HD to do. I called HD for a 3rd time to tell them to stop the "rescheduled" installation services as I had another company come sooner than the 1 week eta I was given for HD to finish the job that was already suppose to be done on delivery day. I got an email saying to expect delivery 2 days later... I called & cancelled it AGAIN and then this morning the delivery team from HD SHOWS UP AT MY HOUSE TO INSTALL THE APPLIANCES I ALREADY INSTALLED AND CANCELLED THEIR RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT THREE TIMES THREE DAYS IN A ROW!!! I have all documentation, claims number, order numbers, and extensive notes on my order. WG56162983 is the order number. I am appalled at the lack of response, ownership of their mistakes and constant ISSUES regarding this matter. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

      This review is strictly regarding the store located in ********, **. This store is definitely understaffed and the ******************** needs to educate their sales staff to know what is required when selling appliances, in my case, a gas dryer.To explain the understaffing review - their phone lines are not answered in a timely manner or at all. I called 5 times the morning of 2/24/24 allowing to ring at least a dozen times each call. When finally a staff member answered - the person was from the *********** and explained he took the call because no one was answering the line. My concern was to reach a manager about my purchase of a dryer and washer and the delivery problem by the 3rd party company Home Depot facilitates their deliveries.To explain the uneducated sales staff- upon delivery on 2/24/24 the units were unable to be installed. The units could not be installed because there was not proper gas plumbing for the dryer and the washer discharge hose could not be dispensed into my utility tub. The delivery company explained that Home Depot Appliance sales staff should have advised me what was required before delivery to install my dryer and washer. After finally reaching the manager, ******, and providing my complaint she would have the Appliance Manager contact me. After waiting 6 hours, contacted Home Depot Commerce again to reach the Appliance manager. Phones still were not being answered but I did have an extension number to try but that was not being answered. After 3 attempts calling the store to have staff answer the phone I asked the staff to reach the Appliance Manager **** which I was told was with a customer and would call me back. This never occurred and eventually was able to reach an assistant to the Appliance Manager, *****, to arrange to have the units returned because I was not informed what was required for the installation. I did not feel that Home Depot should get my sale worth $1900.00. or any star rating.
