1 starMy mother has been going back and forth with Home Depot for months now. She has a heart condition. They measured her home for flooring, countertops a valence ove the patio door, and blinds. She first got the floors done and there was left over flooring. Then, they brought the incorrect valence for her patio door. The original saleswoman who said they had the valence that fit and that was what she rodered (and paid for). Then, something different was delivered. They've been out, I'd say, about five times now, just for that issue. THey've been out at least 10 times for al lthe issues. It still is not resolved. She began this process in late October. They brought another valence out which also does not fit, but sent a truck to take the unused flooring and the firdt valence back for a refund. When the truck came, I asked them if they had something to sign. They said no. I thought, "Well HD is reputable (WHY I thought this is beyond me)," So, I let the guy take the materials. Now, they're saying they have no record of the items being picked up. They were picked up on a Saturday. The customer ********************** of HD set the pickup up, so they must have a record of this, and if the items were returned to inventory, they'd have a record of that as well. At this point, my mother has continuously paid more and more in little fees that have just about made up the "discounts" she got when this remodeling began.I'm fairly certain this has had a terrible effect on her health. Which is affecting my mental health, as I am a disabled Vet and her fulltime caregiver. I've decided to chronicle the entire situation on social media, as, at this point, everyone needs to see this ridiculousness.The Home Depot

1 starRented a plate compactor and the rip cord broke. Was told it was lucky I had insurance as it would be 150$ to fix and that no extra time would be given on rental for having to return and replace their faulty product. Everything falls on the customer, terrible policyThe Home Depot

1 starWhen your manager at the **************** location lets her hood booger thot self come out and come at customers and say o well nothing they will do to me I can do as I want !!! Pure ignorance this is who you guys have representing your company thats f****** sad the. On top of it threatening a customer to trespass them because your a ignorant b**** is the most unprofessional thing ever and I dont care I wont stop bashing Home Depot and I wont stop legally until that waste of life is fired !!!! How sad Home Depot when your managers are acting like dope dealers and treating customers like trash who spend more in a month then your manager makes all year !!!!! I want my money back that your manager over charged me for my order just because her words I dont like you white boy !!! Real nice huh we being called by our race by managers of Home Depot thats awesome !!! 1 starI purchased a number of items from Home Depot at The Home Depot, ************************************* V3S 0C8 in March, 2024. A few days after returning from the store, realized I had been charged twice for an item costing several hundred dollars. I contacted the manager, who challenged my claim and asked why I didn't check my bill upon exit (I'm a senior)! She said she they had video and would verify my story and get back to me. I didn't hear back so called back a few days later, explained my situation to another manager, who also said they would pass the message on and call back. A week later I still hadn't heard, so went to the store, which the first manager had suggested, but they told me no manager was present and that the manager didn't have access to the video anyway! I left my name and number and asked the manager to call me. I also asked why would someone not return a call or explain things better? It is now almost two weeks later and I still haven't been given the courtesy of an update or phone-call (as well as being several hundred dollars out on something I didn't buy).The Home Depot

1 starDon't know why I am bothering to leave this 1 star review since they have a 1 star rating??? Sat at home waiting for them to deliver and install a microwave for me this morning. Took off work to do so. Window was 7 to 11:00 they called me at a quarter till 10:00 to say the microwave was damaged and they weren't bringing it. They didn't bother to call me to see if I still wanted it or to offer me a discount. There was a small dent on the right rear corner of the unit insignificant. I would have accepted it anyway even without a discount. Especially since I had taken off work. And it was a birthday gift for my wife surprise. I believe they just didn't want to drive to ************* and install it. Unfortunately this is the world we live in today nobody does their job. 1 starI placed an order online with home depot. They routed the order to a local store, the store delivered it to the wrong location and offered a refund for the missing items. The site said I'd get my refund in 2-10 days and I never got it. When I followed up, they said I have to go to the store the order was routed to to get my money back, which I cannot do, so now I'm out close to 40 dollars. 1 starThey just don't care. We bought a refrigerator from HD almost 7 months ago. For the second time, it has broken down, causing us to throw away both frozen and fresh food. Not once but twice. The repair company HD has hired for their warranty work is sub standard at best. Calling corporate does no good. They don't care that you have thrown away literally hundreds of dollars in food because the repair company takes almost 2 weeks to repair your new fridge after they ordered the wrong part. It was only after we called and complained that they put a rush on the part, otherwise it would have taken even longer. They don't care that your Easter dinner with your family is ruined because you can't get a repair until the Monday after Easter, and cannot use your NEW refrigerator. 1 starHome Depot is the absolute worst. I ordered a freezer on March 11th, and they delivered it the next day with a massive dent. I called to complain and they promised a refund and pickup. But they never followed through. Then, when I went to the store, they said they'd pick it up on March 27th, but did they? Nope! And when someone finally showed up they didn't even bring a truck to take it back or give me my refund Warning to everyone: stay far far away from Home Depot like its a plague.The Home Depot

1 starBought a dishwasher two years ago and a three year warranty. It quit working and was told by Allstate to have it fixed and turn in receipts and would be reimbursed. All Ive got was a run around for a month. They dont want to pay up. The warranty is a joke. I wont buy another item with a warranty at Home Depot again.The Home Depot

1 starOrdered 42 cases of laminate flooring for in room delivery. I have never had a worst customer experience than making the terrible decision to order from Home Depot. The whole process took nearly two months after the first delivery drivers that showed up with the flooring refused to bring the flooring inside and yelled at my 30-week pregnant wife. After I spent over 20 hours on the phone with Home Depot and was escalated with a case I was assured of a proper delivery the second time. After waiting another 2 weeks I ensured I was home for the delivery. The same company showed up for in room delivery where the company again refused to bring anything inside my house. This was after I was promised by two managers at Home Depot on the phone that everything was taken care of. The discount they offered on my flooring literally pay for the time I spent on the phone for two months. Broken promises, wasted time, and terrible follow through. I am making it my mission to tell anyone never to shop at Home Depot.The Home Depot
