1 starI purchased a refrigerator from home Depot along with the 5 year extended warranty. My refrigerator decided to die, so I called the warranty company only to find out my warranty expired. I bought my fridge in 2018 , there was a 1 year manufacturer warranty. I was told the extended warranty would start after the manufacturer warranty. Not true! I paid for 5 years extended only to get 4. So now I have to pay out of pocket for the repairs.The Home Depot

1 stari have a broken washing machine that is 14 months old with a 5yr warrenty that i purchased from HOME DEPOT, i have been waiting since march 28th and has not been fixed. they sent the wrong part the first time now i have to wait for another part to ship to my house that might come in another week .HOME DEPOT HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING TO HELPME !!!!! they have giving me the RUN AROUND WITH THEIR CONCIARGE SERVICE. A BUNCH OF PHONE GARBAGE!!! ineed to be compensated for the time i took off work to wait home so no one could show up to my house and the time i have spent going to the LAUNDROMAT BECAUSE I HAVE A 5 yr WARRANTY!!!!!!The Home Depot

1 starI purchased everything needed to replace my service panel on my home, my order was packed by employees for pickup and i made a 6 hour trip to pickup those parts. Upon arriving home i discovered i received the wrong cable, i ordered a solid ground wire i was given a stranded version and im being told i have to make the return in person despite the website where i made the purchase from saying it can be done by mail or in person. I have filed a complaint with paypal and it has been over 30 days with no resolution and the only response from home depot was asking for the information i had already provided. I simply want to return this cable by mail and am being told no.The Home Depot

5 starsWhat a great learning experience I had at the ******************* Home Depot store, with ********.Great teacher. She taught me a. how to make measurements for my kitchen so that I can pick the right cabinets b. Build a Wall Cabinet Floor Plan and a Base Cabinet Floor *************** me what the current trends and styles are. My old cabinets were the old style d. Showed me where to find my cabinets on the actual store and which ones to pick up.e. Showed me how to use the Home Depot WebSite to select different Cabinets.f. Showed me on her Cabinet Design Application how my kitchen would look like.g. She told me what the standard sizes are in cabinets.h. She showed me how to find a cabinet from the *** ID.She delayed her lunch to help me. I went to my condo and took correct measurements. These are type of employees Home Depot make a difference.Because of the great service, help and education Sussane gave me, I felt confident to go and buy my cabinets and chosed Home Depot.I went to Buy and Build and ****** and also to another Home Depot store but was not well informed to buy with others.And went from an idiot in cabinets that knew nothing to now know how to take measurements and remodel my kitchen cabinets.Thank you Sussane, you are a great teacher!!!The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot is garbage! Ordered laminate countertops for my bathroom vanities. Was given a price based on the measurements I provided so I could self install. Once the drawing was finalized, I paid in full and the order was submitted. A few days later the store called and told me that their 3rd party fabricator needed another $260 as a fee for cutting the size I ordered, and for fabricating the backsplash I ordered. This is almost the price of another whole vanity top! After speaking to several people at the store and going back and forth for over a week, I finally spoke to the store manager who contacted the fabricator and said they couldnt do anything about the price but the store would pay half of the difference for the inconvenience. At this point, I just cancelled the order because the whole situation was ridiculous. It is Home Depots responsibility to ensure pricing and applicable fees charged by their contractors is presented BEFORE the customer places the order. It is extremely unprofessional to ask a customer to come up with more money AFTER payment has been rendered. Once payment is made the transaction is COMPLETE. I paid per square foot for the materials and fabrication as a whole. I picked Home Depot because the price I was given was the best I had received and had they decided to take care of the WHOLE difference, they wouldnt have lost me. Such a shame since the designer I worked with was wonderful!The Home Depot

1 starI bought a bathroom double Vanity from HomeDepot on line and paid extra for them too bring it to any room of my choice, they was to open the box for me to inspect it also. The delivery guys never came to my door, they dropped off my Vanity at the end of my drive way in the cul de sac. My husband called HomeDepot they wanted to send someone to come get it and reschedule for delivery another day. I called they offer ****** refund that was nothing to compare what we had to pay to get some one to help us get it out of the cul de sac. I paid almost ***** for this item plus delivery charges and didnt get the service Home Depot says they would do. I will never purchase anything from them and will never recommend Hime depot.The Home Depot

1 starHomedepot recently asked me to become a member of their seeds program, i.e., a group of customers agreeing to accept products from Home Depot, use them, and then write a review to be posted, preferably with before and after photos and or videos. I hesitated because I know from experience how demanding companies can be in such programs. But, I finally agreed and asked for a product to be sent to me for use and review. The emails from Home Depot started the next day, your review is due submit it now. The problem was that the product had not been delivered, fast forward three weeks and I have no less than one such email a day demanding the review, still not product delivered to use and review. Finally, I told them, via email, to stop sending me emails or find the breakdown in the delivery and get the product to me. Two days later, the product is delivered. I tried the product and submitted my review with before and after photos. Did the emails stop, not a chance. This program is so mismanaged! Now I am getting emails with these messages contained in each; your review is due, you have not yet requested a product to review. My review on brown rubber mulch is posted on the home depot sight, I write as Pappaken. My advice to any who are invited to review for the seeds program is , delete the request and move on. Once more, this program is terribly mismanaged.The Home Depot

1 starThe consumer is worth more then 10%double our standard customer ********************** discount when your upset. I'm lost for words as a consumer when I call to resolve a damaged product shipped from your warehouse and the best you can do for me is 10 %. It's not the money, it's the service, it's the ship it back and reorder it and here's 10 % for your problems. Don't shop here, pay the extra at your neighborhood store if you have them. They treat you like a person.The Home Depot

1 starMy refrigerator went out on a Saturday. I ordered a new refrigerator from home depot online, because you cant get one from any store they only have floor models. I ordered it on Sunday, it said it would be delivered on Wednesday so 3 days. When Wednesday came no one contacted me by the afternoon about 1pm so I contacted support. The ** rep told me that my order was going to be delivered between 3pm and 7pm. I waited until 6:45pm and no one called. I contacted another ** rep and asked if they knew what was going on. They told me that they never received my item from the manufacturer. So after getting off work for that time frame of delivery and waiting, I never got my item. Also I never received any communication from home depot that I didn't start. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me she would get ahold of the manufacturer and let me know a new delivery date. I figured home depot sells a lot of appliances so maybe they could have it delivered by the weekend. The next morning the supervisor calls me 10am while im at work and tells me its going to be the next Thursday before it will be delivered! I had only ordered the refrigerator in the first place because it was going the be delivered 3 days later. So instead of not having a refrigerator for another week, I canceled my order with home depot. Then I called there competitor and got a similar appliance for a cheaper price and it was delivered in 2 days and installed! I will never go back to home depot, if you cant simply notify a customer about a delayed delivery by the end of the day then dont sell it.The Home Depot
