1 starBought patio furniture for over $800.00 and was told I would get military discount which I did recieve and also told I could get ****** discount on top of that if I opened a home depo credit card. Called home depo before my first billing to check on the discount promised and was told it would come off my firest bill. Got the firest bill and no credit for the $****** called home depo credit and was told completely different story. That can't get military discount and new card discount and that the purchase had to be over $1,000 in order to get the discount. Feel very mislead by home depo and canceled my credit card and will continue to let others know how I was mislead.************************* Account ending in 3315The Home Depot

1 starWe have always shopped at ******, mainly due to better pricing and closer location to me. My wife and I decided to give The Home Depot a try because they finally beat the pricing estimate for a carpet project for our living room. Well the initial savings we thought we might gain, could turn into double the cost!! There is an issue with the carpet that was noticed within days of the installation. The carpet is showing signs of "matting" into itself and the manufacturer and The Home Depot are claiming it's from normal wear and tear?? The area of concern was brought to the attention of the contracted installer within a few days, and his since tripled or more in size, and plans were made for them to come to see the issues after the holidays (the carpet was installed just before Thanksgiving). When the same two individuals came to fix a couple of other issues, they took pictures of the issue to send to their bosses, saying someone would call me by the next day. I never received a call back until a few weeks later and then everyone has been going back and forth with asking for pictures, sending a sample to the manufacturer for testing, and more. Now, almost 5 months later, I have been told that the manufacturer says it's normal wear and tear??, the carpet is out of stock, and now SURPRISE, it's out of production so nothing can be done. The only option provided so far is to replace the whole carpet, AT OUR EXPENSE?? And get this, this weekend we noticed another area starting to have the same issue, and this area is in front of our TV stand. Nobody walks, lays or spends any kind of time on it except for vacuuming and the dogs walking over it.I guess you get what you pay for, but the retailer and carpet manufacturer should stand behind the products they sell a little beter than this! And when an issue arises there should be a better customer ********************** solution other than throwing their hands up and saying sorry, it's not our fault and we won't help you at all ??!!The Home Depot

2 starsNovember 2023 we decided to get our windows replaced by Home Depot after getting quotes from other vendors and since we had made many other home improvements through them it looked like the best decision. The year before we replaced our A/C unit with them too. After the windows replacement contract was signed, we came to realize that there was a pipe inside the handler that was closed. This is the pipe you add water/vinegar monthly to keep it clean. I call them and they sent someone to fix their mistake! The problem here is that Home Depot have outside contractors and it is a real struggle to communicate with them. The Home Depot installations manager most of the time not answering his calls and the installers says you have to call him for any issues customers has. I can imagine lots of customers dealing with issues of the jobs they do goes through the same stress to get things done properly. I should have listened to the reviews from our neighborhood pages as there wasnt one good review! Hope this help other consumers not to get trapped in the fact that the price is lower. Ill pay more this year to get the other half of our windows done since we are seniors in a set budget and couldnt afford to get all our windows done this time. 1 starI do not trust Home Depot online, they use ***** express not ***** there is a huge difference, if you dont receive your order or its late Home Depot customer ********************** says its your responsibility to deal with the shipper, no its not I didnt hire them Home Depot is responsible for the order until its received undamaged and on time. Worst customer ********************** they dont care. If you order online have it shipped to a store and go pick it up. ***** for some reason thinks its the home owners responsibility to help them unload the product they were paid to deliver. Home Depot has gone down hill when they hit the bottom maybe they will wake up but it will be too lateThe Home Depot

1 starLast time ordering from home depot. I am a pro member and usually spend a lot of money with home depot. But recently ordered delivery for 14 kitchen cabinets. Only received 11 and had damage on some of them . The most frustrating is trying to get update from customer ********************** regarding missing cabinets. Multiple reps lied and said they are still on the way and then another kept me on hold for 30 minutes before blind transferring. Very nice *************************** ********* Department Supervisor at ************, also went out of his way to take care of ** on a window issue! He also was very nice! 1 starI attempted to order a rather expensive large pot for syruping. I placed the order early on a Friday afternoon. Based on the order, I was expecting to receive the item on Monday. On Monday I received notification that the item was on backorder. After a week, it was still on backorder so I attempted to cancel the order. There was no way to do this online and 2 attempts to call were unsuccessful so I had to wait for 6 weeks until it auto canceled. Here are the major issues:1. It's really inexcusable that there site is listing an item as available if it's not. Assuming that maybe it was available when I ordered, there is no excuse to ignore my order for 3 days and let it go on backorder. 2. It's also inexcusable that this company held my money hostage for 6 weeks.I will never order from Home Depot again nor will I visit their stores. I will choose to pay more at Ace Hardware or use Amazon.The Home Depot

1 starIn 2020 I got the Home Depot credit card and used it to purchase a $1600 riding lawn mowerauto pay and #1. I didnt read the small print in the contract #2. Because of the auto pay I ignored what was happening both are my fault however I have not missed a payment and I finally noticed that I owe more than the mower cost when I bought it currently about $1800! After 4 years of consistent payments I am elderly and have a difficult time keeping up on things I contacted the company thinking my account was hacked and was told that there was nothing they could do about it as it was my responsibility to read small print and notice when the payment. I get that Im on a fixed income and hope to get some assistance to reduce this greedy amount. Thank you for your attention to my inadequacyThe Home Depot
