1 starI would like to make Home Depot aware of an employee that does not to be a part of this organization at the 1032 Research Center ******* ** ***** Cascade location. On 4/19/24 I visit the Home Depot in my neighborhood in which I have live all my life. I went in to purchase a refrigerator as a gift for a friend for her new home. I waited for the employee ********** To help me he was very rude as he was helping a customer when he addressed me I let him know that he could complete helping the other customer. He then told me he doesnt want me standing around in which I thought was strange. He then told me to go stand in a different area of the store. I replied that I was fine standing were I was. He then insisted I go sit down and again I let him know that I preferred to wait where I was standing. He then said that he has a man up front with pistol that can make me do so. I have never in my life been treated this way and encourage Home Depot to fire this employee as this could have escalated easily. I am thankful that I am not who I use to be.I then interacted with different associate he persisted to tell me and her we need to go some where else. I handled my transaction with other employee but he continued to harass us during this process. I asked for the store manager ******* she came over and handled the situation poorly. She acted as if she didnt know the employees name and only offered his first named and last initial. I then called the corporate office to make a complaint and request to fire this employee as he is the worst possible representative for this company. I will never visit this location if at all this company again and encourage you to do the same.,Thank you,***************************************************The Home Depot

1 starWe ordered a shower door from Home Depot, and paid extra for delivery inside our threshold. On 4/19/24 they delivered the item but did not ring our doorbell or attempt to bring the package inside. They left it propped up against our garage door, in the rain, blocking the door so we can't get our car out. I have pictures. We called HD Customer ********************** and were on the call at least 45 minutes. CS was not able to get a delivery rep to come back to our house and do the inside delivery we paid for. They offered us a refund of the delivery fee ($85) but we still have the issue of a heavy bulky package blocking our garage door. Very disappointed with Home Depot. Won't go back there again.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot contracts ACS for installation of their carpets. Be aware if you have an issue with installation Home Depot just refers you to this company and does nothing. Also if you are buy carpet from Home Depot with 10 or 15 year carpet warranty, well ACS warrantees their installation for 3 years. Be prepared that what you get quoted and paid for, for installation location of seems, etc may not be what you get. In my issue, I specifically did not want seems in the main walking area of the living room, and that is exactly where the seem was. The quoted layout had the seem on the outside wall of the house where there would have been very little wear. They may not re install all door that they remove, and may even loose the hardware pieces. As a homeowner too bad so sad I will no longer use Home Depot.The Home Depot

1 starPlaced online order for a dehumidifier that listed delivery date as the next day if ordered within the next 4 hours and 11 minutes. I needed the dehumidifier due to flooding issues being repaired in our basement so it was perfect timing. The next day an email came stating a delay in shipping. The order would be shipped in 5 business days. I needed a dehumidifier so I got one in-store. I then reached out to customer ********************** to cancel the online order only to immediately be turned away because they cannot cancel an order after 45 minutes. Even though the item has not shipped, they have no ETA, and cannot fulfill the original shipping promise, apparently something magic happens in 45 minutes and your order is locked into place. Customer ********************** said I can refuse delivery when the other unit arrives (cant because I wont be home), return it to a store (unnecessary work imposed on me), or it can be returned with a *** label (yes, they will be paying to return what they should just cancel in their system). This is not customer **********************. Nothing magic happens at the 45 minute ***** their customer ********************** reps have no explanation, it just seems to be what they are told. I think theyre trying to call my bluff and Ill keep the unit. Its going back (whenever it shows up). They will pay the return shipping. I will be doing future shopping with the competition. They make so much money Im not sure they care. Maybe if they **** enough people off it will put a dent in their pocket.The Home Depot

1 starDO NOT SELECT THEM FOR YOUR WINDOW INSTALLATION! Im in the ******* ******* area. My window replacement order from 2022 is still not complete and its currently April 2024. My order was mismanaged and repeatedly incorrect. I was over charged and told that it would be corrected at the end. It hasnt ended and Im still paying on the incorrect amount. My home has been left in disarray and in violation of HOA code. And to make it worse, it keeps failing county inspection. Plus HD corporate does not hold the local offices accountable for HORRIBLE service. RUN unless you want to waste your time and your money.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot sold me vanity tops for 3 vanities, I was very specific that I could not do demolition or plumbing due to being handicapped.******** said there will be additional cost, I said how much and agreed to price.Now that the tops are cut and read to install they want an additional $750.00 because he said I would take care of it. Never HAPPENED.Now they are holding my deposit hostage unless I pay additional $750.00The Home Depot

1 starWorst policies and customer **********************. Not only were they not helpful, but to stick to a 90-day return policy when it was a manufacturers warranty issue that electrified our pipes is not ok, they put our family in danger. We spoke with ***** multiple times and they will reimburse Home Depot, but then Home Depot would not reimburse us. Im not sure how we were supposed to know there was an issue within the water heater until it broke down which happened 6 months after it was purchased.The Home Depot

1 starPlaced an online order for a lawn mower paid in full . Was supposed to be delivered on the 12th its the 16th and I still havent gotten the lawn mower I paid for . Nobody called me or anything I had to call and it took me so long to get in touch with somebody. Each time they say they need to put it on a different truck. That doesnt take a week. They are just lazy .The Home Depot

1 starI bought a Milwaukee job site speaker during a promotion that would include a free M12 2.5 battery.The speaker was delivered but the battery was missing from the package. Home Depot refused to rectify the problem & wouldn't claim responsibility. Terrible customer **********************. So now I only have the tool but no battery.Don't get delivery from Home Depot. They pretty much decide when they want to honor their promotions (false advertising). They should be audited / investigated for their malicious practices.Buy ********* from a trusted vendor to avoid any losses.Do better Home Depot.The Home Depot

1 starI think it's wrong that once you purchase a washer, for one you can't get same-day, I want to take it home, but the force you to have it delivered and charge you another 29 dollars for it. If I don't have a choice and I have a way to get it home, why the heck am I forced to pay more and have delivered, when in all reality anything could happen to it when they do it!The Home Depot
