1 starNever have measurements for flooring done with Home Depot in ******, ****. We are buying a condo and current owner was nice enough to let us have our measurements done. We explained this to home depot and the said that they would work with us per the current owners availability. We had it all set for yesterday for our preferred time of afternoon at 2pm. They said we would be receiving a call the morning of. We did receive the call and the guy that called said that he would be there at noon. We said that wouldn't be possible, because the current owner wouldn't be home. The guy that called was unwilling to help us with another date. My husband then called customer ********************** to explain to them the situation. Customer ********************** told him that the will leave a message with the District Manager. The Manager did call back and was willing to have us squeezed in for the next day, since this worked out good for all of us. Manager said that we would get a call in the morning. We thought everything was good. Boy did we think wrong! Morning came and no call. Got to be well after 10 am and I looked at my husband and said, watch they will just show up at the condo. Sure enough that's what happened. We got a call from the current owner saying they were at her door. Mind you she lives alone. So she ask him questions and to identify himself. He refused and left without doing our measurements. What the heck!! My theory is the guy is probably a criminal and that is why he wouldn't identify himself. She was doing this for her own safety. A normal person wouldn't have a problem with identifying themselves. I guess home depot hires criminals. And don't write back and tell me that you will have someone contact us cause we have already been there and done that. My husband just went and got our money back. We are going with someone else. Stay away from Home Depot flooring in ******/********** ****!The Home Depot

1 starNever will I order online again. They cancelled my first order without notifying me or giving me an explanation. I allowed them to process again and its just waiting with stuck on processing. Tried to cancel but have to wait another two days to get update. HORRIBLE!The Home Depot

1 starBAIT AND SWITCH : I went to the outdoor garden section to look over their perennials that they had on sale (about 2 quart size ) three for $12. These perennials (about 2 quart size)had originally been $8.98 apiece. All if these perennials were somewhat centrally located but others were scattered about. I came upon a large tall tray cart that had an $8.98 sticker/container ( Succulent which is a perennial :-0) just like all of the other perennials that had been in the sale. I went up to the counter with my succulents and the staff informed me that these perennials weren't included in the sale. I told the staff that NO SIGN was posted on this perennial stating that it was not included on the sale....that this was a "bait & switch" which isn't allowed. I went inside to complain at the customer ********************** desk and she called the manager on the phone. NO, the manager never physically appeared. I was then told after speaking to the manager an outside company furnishes their plant section and its out of their control. I told her HOME DEPOT IS LIABLE FOR EVERY TRANSACTION ON THEIR PROPERTY. I guess this manager had the staff brainwashed . ***, is this the attitude that trickles down from top to bottom in this company? If this plant section is truly separate from HOME DEPOT, A SIGN should be POSTEDThe Home Depot

1 starToday on Spring Black Friday I tried to purchase a Patio Furniture.Hampton **************** 3-Piece Black Steel Outdoor Patio Sectional Sofa with CushionGuard Chili Cushions to be exact for $369. When I added the item to my cart, I noticed price was showing as $799. I called Home Depot Customer **********************, but they denied that their Website if offering the patio furniture at $369 and they only see price of $799. I offered to take a picture and send it to the customer **********************, but they were interested and keep saying they can have the sale processed for $799... Even if the price is a glitch, they should at say it is an error or honor what they posted on their website. I had correct zip code, and refresh my browser several times and even start new browser but still all I could see was price of *********** of day, don't trust Home Depot on line Prices and specially, double check special offer price vs than what it shows up in your card.The Home Depot

1 starCant ever deliver an item under 10 days. Husband traveling for 6 mos dep 5/6 so I ordered an item to be delivered mid March. Came 3/17 open box broken glass. *** ofc returned, delivery declined. I f/u 2 wks later, told credit takes 30 days. 4/26 I reorder a wood item. Learn credit not applied. Transfer me to 4 ppl; last is FL store but item cane fr NY store. Call again 4th time. Manager offers to do credit now. I need to p/u item this week bc now it is so late & I ordered for 3/17. They dont offer to increase credit to cover the other item I needed now; expected someone to call the store and see if same was in stock and if not ***** the thing 2nd day. Novel idea!!! It is NOT an unrealistic expectation to get the product the customer originally ordered to be delivered by a deadline they needed, intact, to them and incur the cost of rectifying a mistake when you make it! THAT is a DECENT company. They are absolute trash and I will never ever shop there. To think of children being cut by glass a horrorhow many people to whom I said this to and not 1 person was concerned about safety and reported this in any way. Less than one star.The Home Depot

1 star**************** Home Depot has prostitution happening at the pro desk. The early morning cashier asks for money undisclosed in dunkin donut bags in exchange for *** from the contractors furing store hours. Store manager received proof of this, but did nothing. I can't believe Home Depot allows this and how long is this going to continue?The Home Depot

1 starI wish I could give it zero stars. I ordered a 60 inch soil probe online. I needed it to do some pipe and septic tank work over the weekend. The item said it was delivered. It was on my back step where nobody could see my package. Perfect place to avoid theft or anything else. When I get home and open my package, it's just an empty box. Wasn't tampered with at all. Still taped up and undamaged. How do you ship an empty box? I called customer ********************** and they offered me a refund and then the option to reorder. Why the h*** would I reorder anything with you when I didn't receive my initial item? I took the refund and inquired about picking one up locally. Apparently, it's only available in the warehouse and takes 3-4 business days to be shipped to a store. If I needed it next week, I wouldn't have ordered it last week. It's ridiculous. It's an extreme inconvenience and totally irresponsible and disrespectful to the customer. Shipping an empty box is beyond mind boggling. They could've at least shipped a new one, free of charge like Amazon. Guess not.The Home Depot

1 starI am a contractor, a professional, and have been purchasing parts and materials from Home Depot ********* #**** and others almost every day for 10 years.But I have never seen or encountered such rudeness and disregard for the customer as yesterday, April 26, 2024!The young employee could not cut the blinds to the length I needed, so I asked him to call someone more experienced.He called an employee, who immediately began to be rude to me and demanded that I take away the damaged goods through no fault of mine and pay for this one. He refused to cut the blinds to the size I needed. And then he started kicking me out of the store as if it were his property. He forbade me to film our argument. He allegedly accidentally hit me with blinds, which I refused to take. He refused to measure the cut blinds on camera. He put on a show in the center of the store and people gathered. I was never able to buy the product I needed. I am 62 years old, I have never quarreled with anyone and therefore I was very ashamed of the great Home Depot store, for our people, for our country. After that, I didnt sleep all night and still decided to write this complaint.That rude and aggressive employee turned out to be the store manager, who refused and never told me his name. He had Zee written on his apron.If this person, ***, continues to work at this store, then I will have to choose Lowes, which is located across the street, to do my daily shopping and return your credit card. I will also try to notify everyone I know about the Home Depot problem in ********** ***For everything described above, I have video evidence that I can provide to prove this terrible incident.The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased new windows from Home Depot. The windows are absolutely fantastic. We also purchased the lifetime warranty with the windows. We have been trying to get screen damage repaired for 1 1/2 years now. We've been in constant contact with the party responsible for resolving the issue. Issue remains. We were finally given a date and time for the repair. We waited. We received a call to change the time. OK. No problem. We waited and waited. No one showed up to complete the work order. No communication whatsoever regarding the issue. Left voice mail. No reply. This has been and continues to be a breach of contract. Love the windows. Very disappointed with the subcontractor that is responsible for the repairs. Home Depot...hold your subcontractors accountable please. Or change them out, but either way, honor your warranty. I see a possible small claims court case in the future.The Home Depot

1 starJust like the last person, I was told I had ******************************************* this case an ** top loading clothes washer wt7150cw. This was delivered and installed (by home depot contractors) 3 days after purchase. The same day, I ran a load of laundry and found that I had a puddle of water underneath the washer. A 7 foot by 2 1/2 foot section of drywall was ruined. I called home depot to return the washer and was transferred to some jerk in the appliance department who insisted that I had to go through service since it was new and covered under **'s 1 year warranty. I said I don't have to do that. He said I did, and gave me the number for an appliance repair business in *****. They told me I had to call **. Almost 3 weeks later, some ** tech showed up. He monkey'd around pushing buttons on the controls for about 15 minutes, without even opening the cabinet, and then told me he couldn't figure out the problem. He said to run a load of clothes and see what happens (expert advise huh). You already know what happened. Another big puddle on the floor.I called home depot to pick up this piece of junk and refund my money. They claimed they had no record of my request to return the washer. I told them it's not my fault if they can't do their jobs. Then I got transferred to another jerk in the "RESOLUTION DEPARTMENT" who just repeated the same BS about the 48 hour return limit. I did EXACTLY what the home depot employees told me to do, and I get screwed.BE WARNED: NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HOME DEPOT. I will never buy so much as a 10 cent bolt from them as long as I live! I will see how ****** conducts business or go to smaller appliance companies.The Home Depot
