Customer ********************** is completely ineffective dealing with their third party vendor. The extent of the help you get does nothing to address any delivery issues i.e. property damage, delivery protocols, scheduling (late delivery and no call, no show}The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a conversation set online 23 may, on the 29th one box arrived 1 of 2 boxes. I contacted HD by text, in short several texts later and being told that the second box was missing my choices were to contact the manufacturer or take a refund, this was 2 June. I had already paid for 2 chairs to be erected $75. 3rd June I am called by carrier to say that chairs will be collected 10 June. In the meantime I write to HDcares on 2nd June, for help as my UK visitors arrive 4June. I have 2 chairs which cannot be used, missing loveseat and table and no refund. On 5th June HD cares responds asking for email phone etc which they already have. I respond 6th June, its now 9 June, Ive heard nothing. Tomorrow I have to stay home between 11 and 3 awaiting collection!. Absolutely abominable lack of customer **********************, totally disappointing and unacceptable. 0 star reviewThe Home Depot

1 starHome depot website showed free delivery "tomorrow" at time of placing $850 order. After submitting order, and payment being processed, it tells me I will not receive the order until 11 days later and was charged $79 for delivery. I had to spend two hours jumping thru hoops to cancel the order. After talking to the ** location (Mt. Pleasant, **), it is apparent this is common business practice for Home Depot. They have the items in stock, but want to deliver when it is convenient for them. Customer ********************** lead at the location needs training. The online customer ********************** team, who is taking all the heat, is aware of the issue. However, Home depot has failed to correct it. Again proving Home Depot to be using deceptive business practices to lie to their customers. My card was also over charged by $134. To which they told me that a Home Depot vendor put a hold on my card for items they would be shipping to the store to complete my order. (But these items were listed as IN STOCK and ready to deliver UNTIL AFTER MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED. F**k Home Depot, I'll never shop there again.The Home Depot

1 starHorrible company, do not order anything from here because if it comes broken and you return it, they will not deliver it to you on time. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a washer and still waiting. Their customer ********************** team is horrible, looks like no one write notes on file or share info at all I had to explain the situation ************* because no one can help besides rescheduling delivery date and pushing it back. When they finally deliver your order however they will only deliver half of what you ordered. They delivered the bottom compartment of the washer and not the washer itself. They will also mark it as fully delivered.The Home Depot

2 starsI ordered a fridge from them May 29th first attempt to deliver was missed they never called me to let me know what time i should expect it on june 5th now again they tried again on the 7th and now they said address was wrong , i do not like complaning but im very upset and very fed up i will never order anything from home depot ever . I gave them a 2 start due to them being very nice the first time but this 2nd time is outrageous i just wanted my fridge thats allThe Home Depot

1 starHomedepot.ca is not honoring it's price guarantee. It just say we cannot price match a retailer with different excuses. I can prove the product is identical and in stock at the other retail store. I send them the link and screenshots (real time) when I was chatting with them. All their price guarantee is a buzz. On its site, it clearly states the following "Price Match and Beat by 10% for Retail Stores: If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from a local retailers store or website, we will match the price and beat it by 10%."It's a shame for their practice.Review fromMonte A

1 starI purchased a tub and shower combination from Home Depot because Home Depot had signs everywhere about this product being installed by home depot or a contractor they use. I found out that was not true, so I am having to find my own installer. The biggest complaint is that my product was never delivered, but shows as delivered. I called during the delivery day several times and each time was given a different time and my address confirmed each time. In the very late afternoon i received a text and email saying it was delivered, but it never was. I paid for the room of chose delivery. When I stopped by the local store where I originally made the purchase I was told by the assistant store manager somewhat rudely (he did seem very frustrated) that the truck had broken down and no deliveries were made yesterday. However, my order shows as delivered which is impossible if the truck broke down as the store manager says. All I have told so far is to dispute the charges. I am not sure how to do that since it was not a credit cafrd purchase.I have spent over 3 hours trying to get an answer and all In have been told is dipsute the charges. There is no documentation other am email to support the statement the delivery was made and I was home and received nothing. 2 starsSerious concerns regarding a recent and highly unsatisfactory experience with my online purchase. Initially, I was attracted by the advertised offer of free delivery. However, upon adding item to my cart, I was surprised to see a $55 delivery fee applied. After a lengthy and frustrating conversation with your customer ********************** team, I was eventually able to secure the free delivery that was advertised. This involved an unnecessary charge to my credit card, which was subsequently refunded.The issues did not end there. When the delivery finally occurred, the item left in the hallway of my apartment building was not my patio set but instead a package containing fiberglass insulation, addressed to someone else entirely.I promptly contacted your customer **********************, where the initial agent I spoke with was professional and apologetic. Unfortunately, I was inexplicably transferred to another agent who was unprofessional and difficult to understand. After several more transfers and a very unprofessional interaction with a supervisor named *****, who was unresponsive and dismissive, I had to hang up and call back.On my second attempt, the agent I spoke with was helpful and professional, and I reordered the patio furniture. On the day of delivery, I monitored the tracking closely and waited outside to ensure the correct item was delivered. The delivery men initially attempted to deliver the wrong item again, further raising my suspicions about the legitimacy of the delivery process. Only after I questioned them did they correct themselves and deliver the correct patio set.This entire experience has left me highly suspicious and concerned about potential delivery scams or significant procedural failures within your delivery process. Additionally, this ordeal has resulted in two charges on my credit card, causing further inconvenience as I await the refund.I strongly urge Home Depot to investigate this matter thoroughly.Review fromPhilip T

1 starWe have had 3 miserable experiences with Home Depot and home repairs. First, we had a screen door replaced and the very first night it broke. The assessor came out and told us it was wind damage. The door was not properly installed which is what caused the door to be susceptible to damage. Then we had them fix our fence, which within months collapsed. We were charged for the repairs. Lastly, we decided to have the screen door replaced. Once again it broke within two weeks. An assessor came out to say it was a defective door and the manufacturer needed to replace it. Home depot told us it was on us to reach out to the company that fixed the door. We did, and the company told us they would need to send out a replacement part for us to fix ourselves. They refused to send someone out to fix the door. This is 3 terrible terrible experiences and a lot of wasted time and money. Very very disappointing and completely unreliable.
