      Don't use home Depot for deliveries they work with random delivery companies and can't make deliveries based on time frames only days so you get to wait on their convenience, even when call ahead and confirm a specific time frame.

      I bought a zero turn mower yesterday and mistakenly forgot to use my gift cards. I asked if i could fix that. They said yes but I'd have to cancel my order. I asked if i could transfer the zero interest 24 month offer. i was told yes. So i started creating a new order. when the order was finished the call disconnected and no order put in. I called back and went through all the info again, adding gift cards and my finance code. This person chose the wrong delivery method. He pick what he wanted not what was used on the original order. So instead of a 2 day delivery it turned into 2 weeks. then i get a text telling me my order won't deliver until 2 Jul. call back and ask why. to find out the other guy created a ship from vendor rather then ship to home from store. Asked if we could fix that. The lady said yes and said she would cancel the order and redo the order. I told her i had to go out could she create me a cart with the right info. She did. When i returned i tried to order the product. said my gift card had zero balance. Called in 4th time now. the guy told me the lady did a order cancel request. I missed a 45 min deadline. Asked can anything be done do to there mistake. he told me no it what it is and just have to wait. asked to speak to a manager. He said ok. Told me that the manager would call me back 30 min to 1 hour. No call came in. I called back 2 hours later. The 5th guy i explained the whole story then he explained it back to me as i said it to him. told me there nothing he can do. He asked what i wanted. I asked for a supervisor. Finally got a supervisor and they told me there nothing they can do. I stated there always something to do. He said until the ** order cancel you have to wait. Now i have to wait 2 days for a cancel then 2 day weekend then 2 days to ship which will put me at the old delivery date. Told me that what it is. What more do you want. A apology and training employees. Maybe some compensation for all the trouble. Or expedited order.

      I went to Home Depot ************* store in *******, **, to look at doors, paid for someone to come to my home in ********, DE to measure the doors, after quote was received I contacted the store to set an appointment to come in and discuss initiating the installation process, after the call my spouse asks what is the required down payment to get the installers to come out and install the doors, so I called the store back to inquire of the deposit required, I was floored to find out that Home Depot requires a full payment "if" your install is taking place in the state of Delaware (full payment up front)", but if your install is going to happen in ******** or ********** you only have to pay a partial deposit because ******** and New Jersey laws do not allow a contractor to charge you full price before work is started and completed, what is so disappointing about this is that most contractors in the state of Delaware wouldn't dare require a customer to pay full payment prior the work being started, It is a ridiculous corporate policy by Home Depot corporate to take advantage of customers, once Home ********************** has your money they can take as long as they like to complete or NOT complete your work, and you have no other options because your money is essentially gone, One employee I spoke to stated "home depot is a billion dollar company, it's not like they're gonna take your money and run off", well thats NOT the point, the point is the same policies should be applicable no matter what state you live in, and NO contractor should be requiring full payment before the work is started.

      I made an online order May 18, 2024 using a gift card. They cancelled my order by accident and when I went to pick it up they made me purchase the items again on my credit card. After standing around and speaking to multiple associates they could not figure out how to refund the gift card. They said they would try to send me one in the mail. They didnt send me one. I went back to the store 4 times to ask for my refund. They claim they cannot do anything because according to their records it was refunded. I ask where it was refunded to, nobody can tell me. I tried messaging online chat, they told me to go to the store. Nobody at the store knows how to refund a gift card.

      Half the online order arrived, but those items largely relied on other parts that have not shown up (I'd maybe give two stars if those items could be used independently of the non-received ones, but getting the stand for a tablesaw but not the saw itself itself feels like an extra slap in the face). They have missed stated delivery dates, provided zero updates as to why, and are unwilling/unable to provide tracking or any useful information on where the rest of the order may be. Customer Support is a joke, and has no more information than the buyer does. I will likely have to return the few pieces that were delivered and dispute the rest (since you can't start the return process on items that weren't delivered). Wasted valuable days before having to abandon the initial project this order was intended to help me complete. This review is largely based on my online order experience in **, ******.

      Choosing Home Depot for a Kitchen remodel was a huge mistake. Next week will be 6 months from the day our kitchen cabinets and island were to be installed. This was to be completed 2 weeks before we brought home our newborn. If you dont feel like reading this, just know that I spent my entire maternity leave of 12 weeks warming and washing bottles in the bathroom because I did not have a kitchen. A lot of the problems here can be attributed to our so-called designer, *****. We had our kitchen gutted in the 2 two days leading up to the scheduled cabinet/island install. When the installer arrived, he was quick to let us know that ***** had ordered the wrong cabinets, and they would have to be re-ordered. They were ordered and we were told that our install would take place the week of our babys due date. I was okay with that - maybe the install would happen while we were in the hospital! Well, install day arrives, and AGAIN, wrong cabinets were sitting in our living room. But at least this time, the installer was able to install a few of the cabinets that were not incorrect. When a few of the cabinets were installed, there were large spaces around the kitchen window where we assumed more cabinets would be. The installer let us know that actually, ***** failed to order cabinets for those large spaces! Major design flaw. We opted to have those cabinets ordered. Well, those cabinets arrived, and the wrong height cabinets had been ordered. Now what is extremely frustrating about this situation is, the wrong cabinets sat at our house for several weeks before the installer showed up to let us know that the wrong cabinets were ordered again. Another issue is the craftsmanship. Not only is my kitchen not completed, but the work that IS complete looks terrible. Seams that shouldnt be there, drawers that fall out, doors that are not level. It is unfathomable to me that I am paying a $22k + Home Depot credit card every month, and this kitchen looks terrible.

      I hired Home Depot to remodel my kitchen found out they over charged me and only did half the work that was promised and left me with a shell of a kitchen but yet wanted the agreed upon price I highly do not recommend them for any work

      We purchased two sets of barstools from Home Depot.com on 5/20/24. One of the boxes (and contents) arrived damaged. I called Home Depot's customer ********************** this morning (6/9/24) to initiate a return but was denied due to an outside company's recommendation. I received damaged merchandise, began the return within the allotted time, have all my ordering information available and paid with a credit card. There's absolutely no reason Home Depot should not be honoring their return policy.
