      I want to report an issue with Home Depot's extended warranty. I wish I came online and read these reviews sooner. Others are having similar issues. I agree with the person who stated this many complaints does not equal a 5 star rating; something is fishy.I got an extended warranty on my dryer because the policy assures they " have your back". When I called to institute the "no lemon policy" that the warranty ensures, I was told that I needed to have my dryer break 4 times in a row with the same issue in order to get it replaces for free as they promised. Never mind that my machine broke 3 times in 5 weeks. Never mind that each time it breaks, they send out a tech twice: once to assess and once to fix. Never mind the amount of time I had to take off of work and lose money at my job because of this policy. They didn't care about any of that. They said they had to stick to the policy. They even admitted that it breaking 3 times in 5 weeks was unreasonable. I will never buy a major appliance from Home Depot nor get an extended warranty. I paid for aggravation. I hope this helps someone because I am pretty sure Home Depot is not going to change any policies despite that fact that I am sure I will get a response posted to this saying someone will call me to assist me. They won't assist me.

      This review is to reveal poor customer ********************** and inferior product. We purchased at Home Depot, in ***********************Poor follow through and no compensation for a lemon dishwasher from GE.I wish it was a better report

      Asked to be signed up for the consumer card. I read through the pamphlet and did my due diligence asking a manager questions regarding this card before signing up. I was told it was 6 months interest free and that I could make payments in the store at any time. When I received my first statement I went into the store a day early to pay, at which point I was told by customer ********************************* that they dont deal with the home improver card I was signed up for. I never asked or was told I was being signed up for this 3rd party card. I currently have no way of making payments and am incurring late charges and credit damages. The managers at this location absolutely disgust me the way they treat their customers. I am a small business owner and would highly advise everyone to stay away from this building. They have refused to allow me to speak to the district manager in fashion of continually putting me on hold only to return and say they have no contact info for such.

      This is more so related to the corporates at Home Depot, not any particular store. Apparently they want to talk about how much they "support" our veterans and troops. Yet, when I go to buy a dishwasher, they don't give a military discount. However, the funny thing is, Lowes will give a military discount for the exact same dishwasher (make, model, trim, accessories, etc.). So, as far as I am concerned, until the multimillionaires at Home Depot corporate decide that they truly due want to show support for our nations veterans, I refuse to shop there anymore. Or at least they should take down all of the little American Flags they put out on their properties, in a vein attempt to show that they "care".In my opinion, take your hard earned veteran dollars to another company.

      I ordered custom made Cabinets from Home Depot September 2023. called us to give us the date of delivery. So, we went back and forth to the store numerous times. They told us we wont have it for Thanksgiving. We waited for a call but no one called. They said not for Christmas but for the New Year. January 2024 came and the delivered part of the cabinets. No one called on when they will install. We went back in and after got a call from the installer. He came with 3guys. One was in charge of the other two. The chief installer left! We found out one of the three was a subcontractor the installer hired. He left, and the two other did not speak english, did not have a level and did not seem to know what they were doing. Almost all the cabinet doors were were hung crooked, handles not level. the cabinets were defective and did not sit flat on the base. Discoloration on doors. Knots in the wood that were visible. (We had told the designer we didnt want knots). The side panels were made of the cheapest grade plywood and those carry knots! they also delivered the wrong molding for the right side and had to reorder the molding. The installer crew came back to level the doors and handles and were punching new holes in them.(which would eventually make them weak). The correct size molding arrivedit was the wrong colorhad to be reordered. A whole crew came from Home depot to inspect the defective cabinets, along with the maker who was their sub-contractor. They spoke to us in tones as if we were at fault. All this went on for 9months and we still do not have use of our kitchen. We paid cash (approx. 20k plus for cabinets and installation). there is more. I want them to give us a fair compensation or take back the cabinets.

      Their customer ********************** was great. I was a problematic customer for them. 1) While they delivered a washer, they couldn't hook it up as the valves were corroded. Had to wait a week for a plumber to come and replace them, and hook it up. No problem, I understand the liability issues.2) However, I was left with the old washer. While the charge to pickup the old one was refunded and they couldn't reverse that to pickup the old washer. However, they did a complimentary pickup! They answered my prayers and god bless them!3) The day of the pickup, they called early (7:50am) to confirm the pickup. I did not wake up. However, I had moved the washer outside to the roadside (I live in a rural area). Nevertheless they came and picked it up! Still amazed they did that! Good job and many thanks!

      Stay away from thier appliances. New homeowner. I signed up for a credit card and proceeded to purchase a large amount of items, ac $500 (lasted 2 years, refused to service it and gave me a gift card for my troubles) , washing machine $800( 2 years service 3 times refunded and blamed me). Refrigerator $1800 (guess how long that lasted?) If you say 2 years you are correct. So the protection plan I paid addtional for 5 years does not work because the ******* repair people is not located in my state. Not my problem because if I had known that I would have to pay an upward of 120 for a diagnostic check I would had never brought it. Thats not to mention all the parts that i have to pay for as well. What a scam. At this point give me all my money back and take your junk. I have medication that has alreday gone out of temperature and its summer which means camp, which means i make lunch. Can't do that i now have to buy daily. We scheduled a day for the tech to come to our home before we knew the prices. They gave a 5 day grace ****** to confirm the prices only. When I called to confirm they canceled my appointment and tried to give me another day. That was change by the ******* rep. ***** item that i purchased has broke . The washer that I recently purchased due to the giftcard i recieve less than a week ago is leaking and thats an *** Im scared now because I just brought a water heater 2 months ago. I'm starting to think the appliances are defective. And to have people purchase a protection plan for 150+ dollars and now I have to pay another company to service it. Is crazy and bad business. At this point take your junk and give me my money back. Home depot wil get no more purchases from me.

      We ordered a washer/dryer for the home we just moved into. Delivery was to include unpacking, hookup and removal of packaging. They showed up and left both appliances in there boxes. We called to complain and they arranged to come back almost a week later to finish the job. 2 guys showed up and were unbelievably rude and demeaning to my wife. They hooked up the machines without leveling the dryer and left the box and all of the packaging behind. I've left emails since, and no response. I don't have time to sit on hold for an hour either. Last time I ever shop at HD. The behavior of the delivery guys to my wife is inexcusable and unforgivable.

      Do Not Purchase Appliance protection plan from Home Depot as they use Allstate/Square Trade for servicing and these companies Eill not stand behind their own agreement.They state company will call for service on appliance and pay cost. When I called for service was informed they dont have service providers for Annapolis charged me $195. Then told me call my own service person pay for repair and they would pay me back. Now they said without calling a service call they want me to sign agreement and take cost of appliance only!Home Depot bad choice having Allstate/square Trade as your appliance Protection plan servicer ***** on you.

      Ordered three appliances at the same time I was given a delivery date because they showed in stock. I ordered from there because I needed them before tenants moved in. they sent a text saying they would be there in four hour period. The next day they did not show up call customer ********************** said it was still being processed and it was rescheduled for five days later theyre telling me it will be another five days but theyre absolutely not at all helpful and has left me in a terrible position, I definitely will never do business again with Home Depot
