1 starAdvertised price online via the Home Depot website was listed as $899 for an item, but after clicking into the homedepot.com website it assigns our local store zipcode and the price shoots up to $2999 for the same item (which isnt listed as a clearance item for either link). Attempted to talk to customer ********************** and they were argumentative, put out boilerplate templated responses, and told me that Home Depot doesnt pricematch with themselves. Overall poor experience for an item that was advertised to me falsely.The Home Depot

1 starWe purchased a fence through Home Depot in May 2024. Our neighbors had a problem with plot lines and went to the installer Active Yards and Home Depo where they received a document entailing my personal information on it. I am very concerned with how my information is being utilized at Home Depo considering they hold much personal information of mine with the business that we have done through them.The Home Depot

1 starDo not buy appliances at Home Depot. Their delivery company has no communication and when brought my appliances used wrong size truck. Home Depot has trucks that will work but the store in *******, NC refused to bring them to me and stand behind my order. So with both parties refusing to give a solution they delayed by construction project by almost a month. It still isnt finished and I have had to spend a lot of money eating out since I dont have a stove . I had several employees trying to help and they were the best and gave me some information and the name of the logistics company. Save yourself some major headaches and go somewhere other than Home Depot.The Home Depot

1 starAs a current employee, I have to give this location (7067) a ZERO. They routinely violate their employees **************** anyone who's not available 24/7. A co-worker needed to change her schedule due to her bus-route so they fired her & refused to adjust her schedule.Another co-worker asked for help with a lumber transaction & was written up for it because they asked for help in front of the customer... yet the employee didn't have any training with the lumber department to begin with. The store manager, ***********************, only got her job because her husband is a district manager. She has ZERO leadership skills, never does any work, and breaks protocol constantly. The strong & attractive female temp staff are regularly treated like absolute dog-shit by female management.You cannot go to the Awareline because even "confidential" phone calls or emails get directed to the District manager & the store manager... so if you need to report ***** for an infraction, she just ignores it, OR her husband, who is her boss AKA a conflict of interest, will throw out the report. So nothing gets changed.If they want to relocate you they'll give you 3 days notice to accept a mandatory transfer or get fired (oh but they call it a "voluntary termination of employment")This location reeks of nepotism, ***************wearing hypocrisy. They cover it up really well though. They tell employees to enforce protocol & make the customer happy at the same time, but their protocols contradict what most customers want. Plus staff are brainwashed into treating all customers like they're terrorists. The managers are incompetent & completely two-faced, pretending to support the staff while sabotaging them behind their backs. The HR department has one person, Prahb, And you can't go to her for anything because she does whatever management tells her to do.They should rename this company 'The Abuse Depot'...it would be more accurate.DO NOT SHOP OR WORK HERE!YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot Online Subject: Complaint Regarding Appliance Delivery and Installation Service Dear Home Depot Customer ************************ am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had with your company regarding the purchase and installation of several appliances. My order included a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave, all of which were scheduled for delivery and installation on June 24, 2024.Despite waiting for a month for these items to be delivered, the delivery and installation service fell far short of expectations. When the delivery team arrived, they informed me that they could not install the dishwasher because it has a push or pull cord, a detail that was not communicated to me at the time of purchase. Additionally, they were unable to install the microwave due to a stripped screw, which again was not mentioned as a potential issue during the sales process.Given that I paid for the installation of all these appliances, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by this situation. I had to return all the appliances because the installation could not be completed, resulting in a significant waste of my time and money.I am requesting the following actions be taken to resolve this issue:Compensation: Compensation for the inconvenience caused, which could include a discount on future purchases or a gift card. Improved ************************ that Home Depot will improve communication regarding installation policies to prevent such issues from affecting other customers. I have always considered Home ********************** a reliable retailer, but this experience has significantly affected my perception of your company. 2 starsHome Depot used to be my favorite store, I would shop there nearly every single day for work. One corporate choice after another is pushing me away from home Depot. It started many years ago when they got rid of the normal checkout lines and gave the employees one foot square to put your product and scan it. Now they're planning on putting corrals in where you have to check out yourself. They got rid of the trailer parking. They put cages on lots of products with no way to get a hold of anyone to unlock them. And I wasted a couple of hours today driving to home Depot to purchase an item that I needed the price match to Amazon. They will not match Amazon. Even though they have many times in the past. Come on home Depot, get it back together! Fire your woke leadership that's destroying your company.The Home Depot

1 starThis review is about two issues with HomeDepot. One issue is about their installation services. I wanted a mini-split a/c system and they sent their installer to do an estimate. This guy was awful. He would not use the a/c units we chose but used a more expensive unit and he never told us the price. He commented on how easy the project would be since everything was in a straight line and quoted us a price over $10,000 for only two rooms! He wanted us to use our HomeDepot credit card and pay it off in two years. He never asked if we had enough money on our card. He never offered any other form of payment for the install. The contract was sent to my email and when it occurred to us that we could not use our credit card, I called the installer and told him we did not have that much available on our card, he suggested we call HomeDepot and request more money. I declined and cancelled the order. This was a joke! The next issue is about their offers of interest free payments. I always pay early and I always pay much more than amount due. I have several of these offers on my account. I paid the remaining balance of one and I still had 137 days left to pay on it. When I checked my balance, HomeDepot added $1.04 on that offer instead of marking it paid. I called about this and was told a lame and deceitful reason for the charge. Even though I pay early and pay more than is due, they added money that they say was due on another offer that was on my account. Payment due was $1.04??? Seriously? Payments are NEVER that low. What are they trying to pull?? I plan on calling them again and tell them how deceitful they are. HomeDepot has lost my business. HomeDepot should be ashamed of their SHADY business practices!!The Home Depot

1 starSo first I placed an order online for flooring a week went by and we never got an email stating it was ready so after looking into it..having an order number and pickup date they claimed the order disappeared and didn't go through. So I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service ". Got no were. We went into the store which is an hour drive to order and make sure it went through. We go pick the order up after dealing with rude guys as we're loading the flooring get it home to four boxes literally broken pieces and the boxes all tore and we were missing five boxes! Go back to the store and go inside and ask if they need me to pull up to the door. A girl behind the counter also on some kind of rude power kick said I needed to bring in the broken boxes in... so I loaded up a cart brought it in and then they hand me a cart with the nine boxes to push and load myself all with a toddler on my hip. Thanks rapids home depot. Yall are rude and don't need to be working in customer service. Highly do not recommend them for anything.Review fromValerie T

1 starI purchased a refrigerator from this home depot in May it was deliver to me on the 1st of june. I came damaged , due to the fact we got rid of my prior refrigerator against , my better judge me I keep the refrigerator... never do that , I have had headache after head ache, first the delivery men never adjusted the doors so after normal use the door came off track, then, the ice maker wasn't make alot of ice. had to wait until 6/17 before a frigidaire tech could come out and fix the problem, on thrusday june 20 went to open freezer part and handle came off. first thing because frigidaire is not open through the weekend I called frigidaire wanted me to wait until july 2, for someone to fix the handle. then was tranferred 5 times between home depot delivery and frigidaire warranty. I had to go into home depot where ****** tried help me to no avail. she did get me an earlier appoint for monday June 24, for the third party to email me back, after 2 hour sitting in home depot , statng they had no technicians to replace my handle, I so frustrated I called frigidaire back to speak to a supervisor, which I was never switched. I feel hopeless will never purchase an appliance from this company home depot and will NEVER BUY ANOTHER FRIGIDAIRE . CAN NOT EVEN GET INFORMATION TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NEITHER COMPANY . I am at the point take the refrigirator back and return my funds.The Home Depot
