1 starI ordered boxes for a July 25th move on July 9th. I paid $164.67 for what would be five deliveries with all the boxes I'd need to move.I received one box out of five about four days after my order. ****. Then, my order completely disappeared from the Home Depot website, and all the tracking had to go through the site (they never sent a direct tracking link). I waited a couple days, and then I called the 800 number. The person I spoke to was polite, and texted me a new tracking link (that still went through the website). At that point, I found that the other four boxes only had shipping labels printed. Then, the new link to track my ordered disappeared AGAIN. I called in again, but the third layer of automated answering informed me that their answering system was not working! When I finally got through, it was ONE DAY before I had to move. ONE DAY. I had tried texting, looking through the website. I called in for the THIRD time. With the third call, I found out that my order hadn't moved--Home Depot had still only created the shipping labels. I got issued a refund. Now, I have 1/5th of the boxes I need to move, and I need to move TOMORROW. Nothing on the website indicated there'd be any issues with this order. No warning, no nothing. The people I talked to on the phone were polite, but they couldn't fix the problem.I'm warning anyone reading--DO NOT RELY ON HOME DEPOT. They are NOT trustworthy. Their system doesn't work, breaks down at random points, and will lose your information. You will HAVE to call them, and even then, your situation will not get resolved.If you need to move, order your moving boxes from LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. This is the worst experience I have ever had ordering something online. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Depot. I'm sure cutting their staff and their supplies helped get them a higher quarterly report for shareholders, but their practices HARM their customers. DO. NOT. USE. 1 starPurchased a range, it 3as delivered on June 1, called the manager and he said since it is past 3 days, I have to call *** Since June I have been calling and still the issue is not resolved. 1 starI ordered a vanity from Home Depot online with the agreement to deliver in room of choice. The 1st date the driver refused to deliver because he said it was a 3 man job and there was only 2 of them, after talking to customer ********************** we arranged another delivery date. The 2nd date came and nobody showed up because they said the item was still at the warehouse because they FORGOT to put it on the truck. On the 3rd delivery attempt there was once again 2 people (even though in the notes it said 3 people was needed) the delivery guy refused to bring in the item even though he was told by a supervisor on the phone to place it inside the house..the driver yelled then pulled off with the item. On the 4th delivery date they called and said SORRY but it will not be delivered today and will have to be put off until tomorrow because it requires 3 people and that could be arranged the next day. NOW today which is tomorrow I am receiving a call from HD that they will be cancelling my order because of delivery issues. During this time I have had to reschedule contractors, take time off from work, and the old vanity has been taken out and demolished. For all this to go on in a matter of weeks and now for them to just state they are cancelling my order is unacceptable...and the only thing from HD is im sorry.Review fromMJ J

1 star*********************************************** *******, NY ***** The store was dirty, there were no associates, the ones I did find refused to help me stating "I don't know" and then walked away. There were large pallets of shrinked wrapped dirt everywhere and by the looks of it had been there all summer and this was the end of July 2024. Absolutely the worst store experience and that's saying something because we've had plenty at the ************** locations over the years. It appears as if the stores are vying for the worst store of the year award.The Home Depot

1 starI bought a Maytag ************** from RKSP Home Depot in Nov 2023. Eight months later error messages appear on the washer. HD referred me to the Maytag service center in **, which could not accept my phone number &, therefore, could not help me. HD would not replace the defective washer, nor would they refund my money or offer me any more help.The Home Depot

1 starLawn Mower was delivered damaged. Called customer ********************** and they reorder the same product and billed my card and promised to refund the amount once the item is received. ********* was responsible to pick up the item from my home. Item was NOT picked up and was waiting for the ********* staff from 1:00PM CST (07-19-2024) till 9:23PM and still at home. Called ********* and Home Depot both are not taking the responsibility to take back the equipment and to refund my amount of around $462. Need BBB help to recover the money along with damages for the harassment I am going thru. I am at home by cancelling my Friday plan to visit a game because of the bad service from Home Depot and *********.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered an appliance online - and got the haul away & water lien set up. I checked the list for things to go before. Empty the refrigerator- hired help for my twins. And they came and said they cant hook up because not water value behind the refrigerator. While online it only says 6 ft away it needs to be, not behind. They were going to leave it - there in the mist of my babies chaos- Im like no - and they couldnt answer any questions because they are a third party only to deliver. When I call Home Depot support - ****** the manger - said I need to hire a plumper to change the valve location because no delivery people will set that up. Well lies cause *** said they could - and can connect to line currently being used. Dont go to Home Depot !The Home Depot

1 starCustomer ********************** was ABYSMAL. The first CSR told me incorrect information to get me off the phone. The second CSR ghosted me on their text chat. The third told me what I didn't want to hear but at least it was correct. Fur my online order, the online ETA was horribly wrong. The other (cheaper) competitors had the correct date. Home Depot decided to bait and switch and change the date the day it was due to deliver. I could have saved $130 and hours of my time by not trusting the ** website.The Home Depot

1 starI went to your Coquitlam (***********) store on Sunday, July 6th.I bought bathroom products for less than $300. When I went to checkout, a cashier came up to me and said, "Do you have a points card? You can get a big discount on this"?I said I am not sure, I just receive receipts by email.So they took me to a cashier station and asked for my ID. I was a bit confused because a points card doesn't require an ID. Then they made me e-sign something, but when I was trying to scroll to read it, they said, no need to read, it's just a formal thing.After this, they called a number, and then handed me the phone, said, "tell them you bought a refrigerator for $1300." And I asked why? She said "Oh, these people are crazy. They ask stupid questions. Just follow my lead."At this point, I turned and saw her screen which said application for credit, and so I asked the person on the phone if this was a phone call to apply for a credit card. And they said yes.So I told them I am not interested and the cashier fooled me by giving me false and misleading information. They never once mentioned that it was a credit card application.I got really upset at the cashier because she took all my personal information. She said she was going to cancel the application. I complained to the head cashier there but I wanted to raise a formal complaint because your employee lied to my face and their lies could've ruined my ruined score (or possibly have!).Today, I received a letter saying that you have received my application for a credit card?!?!!! Your representative used lies and deceit to get me to apply for a credit card that will now result in a drop in my credit score. Shame on you.Review fromArthur M

1 starOn July 4, 2024 I spoke with ****** concerning a package I received on 7/2/2024, that was damaged/used/defective to include the packing material, box. The box was in a deplorable condition. I asked ****** to spell her name for me. She got smart with me and stated it is spell like the perfume. I explain the situation to Chanel concerning the condition of the package. I asked her if she could compensate for the inconvenience this has caused me. Chanel state she would not compensate me. ****** did not think there was a problem with the merchandise. She stated the box looked perfectly fine to her based on the picture taken by *** at my door. ****** could not see the damages from that picture. She basically said I was prevaricating. That was an insult to me. I asked to speak with her supervisor. ****** stated her supervisor was not available. ****** was very obnoxious and rude. She showed no compassion for my concern. Her customer ********************** skill was very poor. The call ended. On 7/15/2024, I called and spoke with ***** concerning the matter. ***** stated since ****** had denied the compensation, there was not anything she could. ***** stated that my account was escalated to determine if I was abusing my account. That was an insult to me. ***** was rude and provided poor customer **********************. I have on many occasions received merchandise from Home Depot that was damaged/used/defective to include the packing material in deplorable conditions. It is unacceptable to suggest that I am abusing my account. I have been a Cardmember with Home Depot since 1992, 32 years. Is my account been escalated to determine the amount of money I have spent with Home Depot for the last 32 years? Again, to suggest I am abusing my account is unacceptable for a customer with longevity for 32 years. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!I am owed compensation for malice and an apology from ****** and *****.
