1 starWho makes the decisions in the clown car?Wanted a window quote, store took my info. I get calls later from overseas that keep breaking up. I get some person who doesnt understand English, but expected me to trust them to make an appointment. Got a call back later from a lady in ****** who was very helpful and well versed on procedure. She set the appointment. At the time of the appointment, I got a call *********************** saying he couldnt make the appointment that was set. So you call me 3 times, text me, set an appointment, have me show uponly to tell me you arent professional enough to show up at the time we agreed on?The Home Depot

1 starPoor experience. Went in last Thursday for a p/t job interview for weekends since I also work F/T. It was for a lot associate position. They were interviewing 5 people for a lot associate! I had the experience and used to do it P/t at their store in ****** before I had to stop to take care of my wife outside of my F/T job because of her surgeries. Its now a week later and no response out of this store or HD corporate. I assume they selected someone else but you have an obligation that if you actually interview a person, to notify them with 2/3 days if you didnt pick them. I mean WOW - what a crappy way to treat people!The Home Depot

1 starI have been trying to get a refund on a fridge for a week now. It was damaged upon loading prior to delivery last week so it was never received. Then told a new one was on back order. I cancelled the order and have been waiting for a full cancellation (still pending) and refund. Additional parts were refunded but not the refrigerator. I have been getting the runaround for days now on why its pending. I need a new appliance and I cant afford to do that without my refund of over $1000. The worst customer ********************** experience Ive ever had and I was previously a Home Depot only consumer. No one will direct me to a main headquarters either to complain. I was told that wasnt a thing they did. Im so frustrated and have exhausted all options so I came here.The Home Depot

1 starOn 7/15/2024 we purchase a ** refrigerator using cash. And was told the refrigerator is a back order so we have to wait 2 weeks to receive it. Since the refrigerator has a mark down we decided to wait for the delivery. But on 7/27/2024 the delivery guys didn't know how to connect the ice maker. And was told that we had to get a plumber to fix the ice maker hose on the back of our wall. So we had it fix and called for them to redeliver. We called and was told that the delivery will be on the 29th of July. We waited all day for the delivery and it never arrived. And now was told we have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery. . We should of gone to Best buy. Home Depot is the worst.The Home Depot

5 starsWent to Home Depot in ******, Il to get things for a bathroom remodel. Got a bathtub, shower, toilet, and flooring, and had a wonderful experience. Every employee I saw greeted me politely and most asked if I needed any help. When it was all said and done, I got everything I needed and came in well under the budget I expected to spend. I was very pleased with my experience.The Home Depot

1 starDo not use HomeDepot for kitchen renovations. Kraftmaid cabinetry is not what is used to be. My install date was April 6, 2024 and I still don't have everything I ordered installed. Today is July 30, 2024. The cabinets I do have installed are total c*** Dings, bubbles, cracks, poor quality all around. They are three different colors! I was told the trim, doors, and boxes are all painted in different facilities. OK, so you HAVE to have tricolored cabinets? On top of this, ZERO customer ********************** from **********************. ZERO. Weeks go by without a word on what's going on and why it's taking months!!! HORRIBLE I'm embarrassed I fell for this big box junk!The Home Depot

1 starPurchased the Bali Room darkening roller shades, they arrived defective. They don't roll up or down. They have scratches on the side of the shades and they do not roll up or down. The quality on the roller shades is terrible.I have contacted Home Depot over a dozen times via phone call and E-Mail over the last 60 days and they have failed to provide any resolution. I will NEVER order from Home Depot again. The customer ********************** department has not been helpful. Now I am stuck with over $2,700 in roller shades I can't use.The Home Depot

1 starOn 8/22/23, I bought and paid for two front doors, two security doors, as well as the parts, locks, and labor. Sometime later in mid-September, 2023, the Home Depot's contractors came to install my doors. The contractors had to continue going back and forth to Home Depot, as they said they could not find the doors, and they needed parts that were not with the doors. They had to go back and forth because the doors were the wrong size. They put the doors up, but they did not caulk, as I had white doors, and they only had black caulk, so they had the audacity to insist that I let them put black caulk around white doors, and I would not. For an entire winter following that installation, air came through my doors. They put the old trim back on and broke it terribly, the screws to the back door k*** they did not put in. The trim was supposed to come with the doors, and did not. So now I have old weather brown trim that they broke and split terribly taking it off. The filter in the screen door keeps falling out. They put a wood board at the top of my front door, and never painted it. I called Home Depot to report this, and the workers came out in 2023 to fix some of the needed repairs. The worker said that he ordered the needed parts from Home Depot and when they came in that they would come back and complete the repairs/installation. From that day to the writing of this complaint, no worker has come out to fix or repair anything. My lock to the back security door is loose and will eventually not work anymore. The k**** on the back door are loose as well.The Home Depot

1 starI have a home depot credit card called to make a payment and was unable to do so because rep. hung up when I called back and asked for supervisor a lady came to phone and said she was the supervisor but sounded like the lady that hung the phone up.The Home Depot
