      I purchased a Bosch dish washer from the ************* Home Depot. I paid for an extended warranty, installation and removal of old appliance. The delivery was done by two non English speaking men. They turned the appliance on and left. 10 minutes later the dishwasher just quits and water has not drained out. I immediately call the store and they cannot get me a tech out for 4 days. I call Bosch they run me thru diagnostic tests and say its a bad install. Four days later a delivery driver shows up. Says he is clueless about ***** that they are not really trained to install them. He says we should just return it. I call the store to return and ***** an assistant manager says my 48 hours are up I cannot return it. I call the customer support and they tell me the minute I called to say it was not working the 48 hour thing voided.. They put me back to the store.and after telling this to ***** he agrees to allow a return and will send someone out to uninstall it. 5 days more and the dishwasher is back to Home Depot. However, I am only credited for the dishwasher. They think I should still pay for install ,the haul away , the deivery charge and taxes. I call back to Customer support. They can credit my card all but the taxes on the delivery. They think I should be happy to only pay $32.00 for this experience. I get a number for corporate from customer support. I call them tell the story they put me back thru to my store and finally they say they credited it all back to my card. I am waiting to see if that happens. I went to the local mom and pops appliance store and was able to get the same dishwasher installed for 100 bucks cheaper and it actually works. I am done shopping Home Depot their customer ********************** is c*** and the companies they sub contract are incompetent. Word of advice shop the little guy he takes pride in the work and customer **********************.

      Dishonest company. I was guaranteed that my A/C unit would arrive on 08/09/24 but it is now 08/10/24 7:23pm and it is not here. Which means it will not be delivered today either.

      Do not believe they honor the Best Price Guaranteed. They would NOT match Lowes price on a washer and dryer. We were paying cash but they didnt care and said ***** was cheaper because they wanted to clear out their inventory. WHO cares why they were cheaper. Obviously Home Depot does. Left and went and purchased at *****.

      I started the process of floor installation through Home Depot.The first step was the measurement of my home.The second step was the third party flooring company to come to my home for an inspection to make sure the product of choice life proof flooring would be able to be installed. We were given the go ahead that there would be no issues. During this period I received a quote with a 5% off purchase if bought before July 31st 2024. We went ahead and purchased the flooring.This was the very beginning of one of my worst experiences I have ever had with a company.After I placed the order I called Home Depot to make sure it was all set. Calling the New Hartford store is a nightmare. It will ring and ring. When I finally got hold of someone they said they order needed to be scheduled for delivery. Then ten minutes later I received a call that it wouldve shipped to my house on August 5th. As the date approached I went to Home depot to make sure everything was on track to be delivered. I was told everything was good. August 5 came no delivery. I called the store. Apparently it was shipped to the store and not my house. I then had to wait for it to be delivered to my house.FINALLY after weeks it was install day. My rugs ripped up throughout my entire house and floor couldnt get installed because my floor was uneven. The workers were super nice and helpful with a solution. I went back to Home Depot and picked a new floor type.This was when the real chaos ensued.Home depot called me and said I would have to pay 5500 hundred dollars for the new flooring. I would have to wait for my 4300 refund from the return of the other flooring. I told the women ******* that was not fair O had to pay for the mistake. I also stated I had a 5 % discount with my other floor purchase. This was not my mistake. She said she would speak to her manager and call me back. Never heard back from her. Went to the store. No help there either.DO JOT GET YOUR FLOORS INSTALLED FROM THEM

      I have been a loyal home depot customer for a long time.On July ********* I purchased a ******* fridge from the *************** (order # H6821-354649), Mi store. At the store I was told that the fridge will be delivered on the 29th and on the 28th I received a timeframe which was between 3-7 no one showed up when I called home depot that night they said that they were told that delivery company did not receive the fridge on time to be delivered to me on the 29th and they rescheduled the delivery for the Aug 3rd I called home depot on the 2nd telling them that I have not received a timeframe for the delivery and I was told that sometimes they send it late and assured me that it was going to be delivered on the next day but it was a no show. And I was rescheduled for the 6th and no one showed up and again they rescheduled it for today (Aug 8th 2024) 7:10 pm and I did not receive a timeframe for the delivery. Of course I called home depot customers ********************** at 5:00 pm and they said I should still receive the timeframe. I have been on the phone so many times but basically they are telling me I am at mercy of the delivery company and there is nothing that the can do except to give me a discount after the fridge is delivered.

      I had an installation scheduled for July 29, the installers came to my home ripped up my carpet to find that they were unable to do the job. They told me to go to the store and get different material that either needed to be nailed down or glued. I went to the store spent almost 3 hours with the flooring person to get a quote for new material and installation. The new quote was an additional $3,500 and I needed to have someone call me to schedule a pick up of my original material because I am unable to lift it. I decided it was too much of a hassle and decided to go with a contractor. I called and the young lady told me she would put a note in the system for my project manager, ******** to refund for installation. I went to the store the next day (July 30) to return some materials and to see if they could refund the installation and returned items together. Unfortunately, when I arrived to the store they were not able to process the refund for the materials I returned nor the amount for installation. The person told me that there was an IT issue and that I should get a call in a day or two to let me know when to expect the refund. I did not get a call back so I went to the store again on August 1 and met ****** the manager. She was polite and has been trying to keep me informed on the refund but I still have not received a refund. I talked to her today 8/2 and she told me that they would send a check because their system will not allow an electronic refund and would call me with the amount. Another young lady called me on 8/3 to tell me that there was an issue with the amount showing up in the system for the correct amount. I called again today and spoke to ****** and she said she would call IT to find out what why there is a discrepancy with the refund. I will NEVER go to HOME DEPOT AGAIN. They have over $2,000 of my hard earned money and seemingly refusing to give it back for a service that was not performed and items they have in their store!!!!!

      Been trying to get a refund it like pulling teeth more then 2 weeks before they they will release the money and another few days to clear what a peanut gallery in the return department

      Terrible experience with bait and switch quoting lead times (printed on receipt). Was told it would be 7 days and turns out to be 4 to 5 weeks. Makes it worse it went in "back order" two weeks ago (July 17th)... No one bothered to call or update at all. Told a manager will call and we'll figure something out, but phone never rings. This is bordering from the most inept customer support to full fledged illegal bait and switch business practices.

      Home Depot on 8/3/2024 Went to pick up a 5 step outdoor ********. None on the shelf. Looked for someone to help me. Saw 2 young men (**** and ****) in back isle section looking at their phones/texting (?). I came within a couple of feet from them but they never looked up from their phones. I asked if they could help me and told them what I needed. **** followed me to where step stringers were but his attitude told a story that it was a bother for him to come help me. He said they had to bring them down from the the top and walked away without any further comment. After waiting about ******************************************************** I foound the 2 young men again in the same back isle talking amongst themselves/looking at their phones, and I said "you guys, are you going to help me or what?". Then ****, began to argue with me and I said something to the effect that I had been waiting for them. That is when things got more out of hand and **** said something along the lines "...why should we help you? you dont tell us what to do..." I cannot recall every word said, but I then said "are you really not going to help me? do I really need to get a manager?..." but because I had a contractor waiting at my house for the step ******** I tried to tone things down because we needed the ******** and I said "...ok, look I will just go back and wait, ok?..." I waited another 15/20 minutes and then noticed **** and **** were now loading pallets of material for other customers! At that point I was very upset and asked an associate for a manager. Meanwhile **** came back over and was still arguing with me and kept saying "...answer me this...why shoudl we help you...blah blah blah..." I finally said to him, "...I do not have to explain a f......* thing to you, I am the customer and I asked you guys for help...". the manger came over and told **** to walk away. The manager then helped me. Ultimaltely I spent 45 minutes to get a piece of wood but a whole lot more disrespect!

      I am a Pro Customer, with Home ********************** more than 10 years. A Home Depot employee tried to scam me with a bogus policy I never heard before. They would only allow me to purchase 2 items of a product on sale. I have never heard of this. To my understanding employee wanted to purchase the product for herself instead of selling to the customer. I was trying to purchase 6 LED Light fixtures and was told I could only get 2 fixtures. Assistant Mgr. *********************, store location **********************************. *** instructed security officer to follow me around the store while I was waiting for a friend to come and buy 2, because of the policy of 2 per customer. I have shopped at Home ********************** many years and as long as I have the money I could get as many items as I wanted. They treated me like a third class citizen, it's not my fault that they never posted a sign saying 2 sale items per customer As per *** this new policy started 2 weeks ago with the instructions from store manager, *********. Because of this new policy I have to remain in the store an hour for a friend to help purchase 4 light fixtures. Had a sign been posted saying 2 items per customer that would save me some time and embarrassment how the Manager and Security treated me. I never had a problem with Home Depot and was always allowed as many items as needed. They should have one policy and not different stores with different policies.
