1 starThey ripped me off. I went into the store and saw advertised discounts for kitchen remodeling and refacing. I got an appointment for the 4th of June. My husband and I signed a contract to use them based on the fact that the sales *** would have me approve of the project or not after receiving a prototype door or sample door as she called it because she didn't have that door in her samples. On the 24th of June I was reviewing our contract and noticed several things. I was charged for the door which was weird to me and the advertised pricing and sale was not on my contract. I have email proof. They then proceeded to tell me they weren't Home Depot even though they answer the phone Home Depot and that the advertised prices don't apply to them even though they are Home Depot and advertised the prices in store and online. This is false advertising. Now in order to cancel my contract with them they want to keep over $500 of my money along with forcing me to keep the door that I can't use for anything which includes paying for the measurements that they took but won't let me have. Basically they are trying to get away with false advertising which is against Indiana state law. They haven't done any work. I can't get a lawyer to contact me. Please help.The Home Depot

1 starOn August 10, 2024 I received the HOMESTOCK Deep Sleep Enabling Adjustable Bed Base Split King, 7 Adjustable Positions, Wireless Remote, Sturdy, Easy Assembly-Black on order number WJ61526441. The following week I contacted the Pro Desk and told them that we were unable to set up the product and test them to determine whether or not they would work for us within the thirty day return period. I offered to return them and repurchase them again when we were able to test them. I was told that the return was not necessary and that since I have a Pro account and used my HD card, I asked that a note be put in the transaction notes to verfy my option to return after the thirty day period. I could return them at anytime within one year. Yesterday, September 16, 2024, I contacted the return desk to set up a reurn and was told that an approval was not possible since it was past thirty days. Also, I verifeid that the notes from my initial conversation were in the file. There should be an exception for this denial, especially since the earlier notes are in the file allowing my extended trial period. I am completely shocked at my treatment by HD and will hesitate making any major purchase again and trusting your online service center.The Home Depot

1 starI called this store from the 281 store because they had 6 boxes of the flooring I needed to finish a job. When I called the woman on the confirmed they had 5 not 6 boxes. When I arrived no one could find the boxes and I asked for a manager who also went looking. **** said it was nowhere to be found and it was deeply discounted at $14 a box as opposed to the $41 per box I bought mine for. He said the only thing he could do is order it directly from the vendors and ship it directly to me. I had to purchase at least 7 boxes and the vendor charged $56 and change for each box. He gave me a $6 discount off each box and the delivery has said that I would receive it the next day. We thought that would be unrealistic so he said to expect it by the next Monday. He said I would receive tracking information. I didnt and neither did Home Depot as I called back the next week to find out where my order was. The first notification came on 6-19 a week after purchase telling me that my shipment is on its ways. Still no tracking information and when I called Home Depot, after the date it was supposed to be delivered it was never delivered to my house and the name of the person who signed for it is someone Ive never heard of. They told me **** would have to make a decision about what would be done, I have yet to hear back from **** 3 months later. I tried to dispute the purchase but my bank contacted Home Depot and they lied and said that I received the merchandise in store. This would not be happening the way it is if I werent black. I was sold items at 3x the price it shouldve . My order was delivered somewhere else even with my address spray painted on the curb and no one would call me back. I still dont have my flooring or my almost $400. Absolutely horrible.The Home Depot

1 starI now remember why I have avoided this company at all costs: they have the worst customer **********************. I recently purchased blinds online through Home Depot and was unpleasantly surprised to find I was overcharged. On the day of my purchase, I encountered several issues with the website, including my cart resetting multiple times and problems processing my payment. I even had to call Home Depot for assistance, to no avail. Sure enough, I was charged over $100 extra, from the original price when I put the blinds in my cart to the price charged on my credit card. I immediately contacted Home Depot customer **********************, but the representative in the window/blind department was unhelpful, had zero patience to assist with w/anything dealing w/blinds (as if this has happened before), and she leaned on the statement that nothing could be done because prices change frequently. While I understand prices fluctuate, unless the prices change hourly, there should not have been such a significant discrepancy from the time I added the items to my cart, called Home Depot for online assistance, then made the purchase. To this day you if I reordered the same online order again, I would not be paying over an extra $100. This feels like a scam and I should have spoken to a different department as this seems like a system error, and no one from Home Depot has taken an extra minute to look into this issue instead of just relying solely on technology. Home Depot needs to take responsibility and honor their listed prices. Im not asking for a price match with a competitorjust for the price I was originally shown. This experience has been disappointing, and its clear Home Depot's reliance on technology is leading to poor customer ********************** and unresolved pricing errors. 1 starMy parents ordered a natural gas fireplace to replace their old wood stove from home Depot. Once it was delivered, they started calling around for someone to hook it up to the national grid natural gas line that is already in their house for the furnace and water heater. The heating and cooling contractors kept telling us that due to insurance and warranty issues, they couldn't because they didn't personally sell it to them. When we call the Utica NY store closest to us to ask if they had a list of approved contractors for this, they said no. When asked how to solve the problem we were having with a product they sold, we were told to just keep calling around. We called the reputable companies in the area, and don't want to have some uninsured and untrained person do it because this could be very dangerous if not deadly. They should not be allowed to sell a product like this that they knowingly have no safe avenue for the consumer to safely hook up and use. Not only could this injure or kill the consumer if something goes wrong, but also unknowing neighbors and passerbys.The Home Depot

5 starsAbsolutely terrible!!! Do not order online everrrr! My FRIDGE was supposed to be delivered on 9/11 Got a message the night before pushed to till 9/14. They never showed , called , or emailed me! I called said they couldn't find my place delivery is now closed @655 and I have to wait till the 17th now!!! That's if they show!The Home Depot

2 starsConsistently the worst customer ********************** experiences at this store (and I thought ********************** in ***** was bad). Most employees just avoid you and don't even say hello. Just today, my cashier, Chazity, in the garden checkout, didn't thank me for my business or offer to bag my plant. This is just one example of the bad treatment you get as a customer at this store. I have submitted many surveys but nothing changes. I am convinced the problem is really at the store management level, who doesn't care about the consumer or about correctly training their employees in company policies and vision. I am seriously considering off-loading all of my stock in this company.The Home Depot

1 starI have a damaged gift I've never been able to use. I have the physical card and receipt. I have engaged Home Depot locally (had to make 2, 3 hour drives and have an open case with their Online Customer Support. Its been over a month now with no resolution. The customer support *** has stopped updating me on the issue. The gift card team seems to be siloed off from everyone else in customer support. My elderly Mother's kitchen is torn up waiting to be finished with Home Depot products. It shouldn't be difficult to get a ***lacement gift card but somehow they have no process to easily handle this. It shouldn't take more than a few hours to a day to fix this problem, but again here we are 1 month and silence from Home Depot. As of now she's out $1000 and its pretty clear Home Depot doesn't care. You can take damaged money to a bank and get a ***lacement bill no problem. Home Depot has made this process a nightmare.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a Bosch dishwasher from them. The installers showed up with the new washer. After a few minutes they explained because since there was a slight amount of corrosion on the valve they could not install the dishwasher. I would have to get a plumber to replace the valve first and reschedule. So next day the plumber comes & he says there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT VALVE. Further, he tells me that with dishwashers and Home Depot this is common and it actually happened to his own mother. I ended up having him install the dishwasher and cancelling he Home Depot ones..The sketchy part of this was the original installer waited til his co worker had stepped away to tell me that he COULD in fact install the dishwasher that evening, after his shift ended for $200 under the table. So I paid Home Depot already for installation, which they lied and said they could not do it because of the valve, but the valve was apparently fine because this guy would have done it that night for another $200. I passed on it as this whole operation is shady, sleazy, and I doubt this random guy was bonded and insured nor did I think he'd warranty his work.They are a total SCAM. I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot ever again. I have relayed to 4 Home Depot customer ********************** people my experience with the valve and the "under the table" guy and they just stay silent - the COMPANY IS CONDONING THIS. They don't care if you plan to have it one day but in realilty have to call in plumbers, electricians, whatever fake reason their install team can come up with to NOT do the planned install. Expect to wait at least a week longer and have to go through the expense and aggravation of getting something that is not broke fixed because their scam artist installers do not think it looks like it came out of a plumbing store.SKIP THEM.The Home Depot
