1 starWas excited to have my kitchen cabinets refaced by the home Depot. The home Depot contracts this job out to a company. The contractor was sent without my supplies and could not start or complete the job on time. The contractor was late daily. The contractor broke my microwave when he dropped it and the liability insurance he has denied my claim stating they won't cover any damages because there is allegedly an area where I signed saying they were not responsible for damages. The contractor left all his dust through out the kitchen and a huge pile in my driveway. Customer ********************** is horrible this job started July 10th and still not complete it is now September 22. Home Depot won't discuss any resolution. They don't feel responsibility because my microwave and floor he scratched were old. They think the mess was ok too. They gossiped that my cabinets were already messy. I guess they think I regularly cake saw dust on my outlets, counters, inside my cabinets and sink. They said it was a standard job. Do not spend the money they charged me ***** for a small kitchen cabinet refacing. I am so sorry I went with this option and company. The Home Depot

1 starThe service was terrible. My plan was to buy a dishwasher from Home Depot and after 4 days the dishwasher broke down. I had a warranty on the dishwasher and Home Depot wouldnt help so they told me to contact the company and then the company wouldnt help so Im just left with a broken dishwasher and constant fees that I have to pay for this appliance. Its been over a month. Ive tried to get a contact with someone and Ive received no help. Man buying from Home Depot or buying from *****. The companies just throw away the problems instead of actually helping the customers. I dont know if its because of my accent, but Ive received no help and the phone calls I make just constantly get hung up. Worst service ever. I have documents and Im just paying constant fees for a broken dishwasher. The Home Depot

1 starIm extremely disappointed with Home Depots handling of my recent refrigerator purchase. I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator on September 4, 2024, and it was delivered on September 11, 2024. From the moment it arrived, it hasnt worked properly. Despite following all instructions, the fridge couldnt maintain the correct temperature. It was set to 36F, but stayed around 42F, and the freezer hovered at +4F. These temperatures are not safe for food storage.I reached out to both Home Depot and Whirlpool, and its been an endless cycle of frustration. Home Depot redirected me to Whirlpool, who then sent me back to Home Depot. It took several days to even get a service appointment, and after the technician replaced the control board, the issues persisted.Whats even more concerning is Home Depots return policy. I was informed that they wont replace the faulty unit and that its now up to ********* to handle repairs. despite the fact that Im well within the return window. Home Depots return policy for large appliances seems designed to make it nearly impossible to get a replacement for defective products. Ive been told that temperatures up to 47F are acceptable for refrigerators, which contradicts the manufacturers recommended 38F.Ive spent a significant amount of money on a product that doesnt work as advertised, and both companies are avoiding responsibility. Home Depots lack of customer support and almost impossible-to-uphold return policy have left me feeling frustrated and helpless. I will not be purchasing large appliances from Home Depot again and would caution others to think twice before doing so.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered a new freezer from Home Depot and they delivered it on July 11th 2024. I quit working on August 28th. Im getting the run around from ********** and the service people. I reached out to Home Depot and Frigidaire to get the freezer replaced and both of them said that they couldnt replace it. It needs to be repaired. I dont understand how they can leave a customer without a working freezer that has not worked for almost a month. I lost over a $ ***** dollars in food and they dont want to hear about that or even care. Im not the only person who has had this happen to them and Home Depot continues to sell the bad freezer and know that they are bad. The reviews show that they know about the faulty freezers and still sell them. I think they should quit selling them and replace the ones that were faulty with a different brand. The technician said that the problem with the freezer is that Frigidaire is not soldering the copper lines. They are crimping them and they leak out the Freon. The technician was out on September 13th and said he was going to order a condenser for it and he would solder it. He never updated the work order so Frigidaire will not do anything about it until they get the work order updated. It is junk and Home Depot doesnt care because they are making money by selling them. The Home Depot

1 starThey are awful with anything service or installation related. I had paid for installation and they came and screwed around for hours before telling me they could not do the installation today. I went back to the store expecting some help, compassion and consideration for the inconvenience. I instead was further offended and aggravated. I went to Lowes and received such great service and assurance. Ill never go back to this Home Depot. The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot has been perpetrating a fraud against elders, particularly older women living alone. You purchase an appliance, pay for delivery, installation, and take-away of the old appliance, and then their personnel refuse to perform the installation or tell you that you haven't paid for it. In either case, you are stuck with an appliance that is of no use. The only alternative for the elderly homeowner is to hire a plumber or contractor to mitigate the issue at considerable expense, and still owe Home Depot for what you didn't receive. This has happened to me, my neighbor and others in this area. The get installers apparently paid to do the work whether or not it's completed. I have reported this to ***-***** ********, Exec. VP of Home Depot who turned the problem over to **** *****, Executive Escalation Support. Nothing has been done to rectify the matter and more and more elderly women are experiencing the same problem. As for me, I have refused to ay Home Depot and my credit card has been nullified and my credit rating effected (according to Experian). I want to see this investigated before more elderly are harmed by this scam. The Home Depot

1 starCase # ******** In June of 2024 I order a 36" propane gas stove and a dish washer. Order arrived and it was a 30" stove. I sent it back. I order another stove a Cosmos 36" stove. It was delivered to where I lived 2 years ago, it was sent back. I ordered another 36" Cosmos and again it was delivered to my old address and left on the curb. I contacted HD and we order another 36" propane stove it was delivered to the correct address but it was not propane. (I live in the country). I ordered another 36" propane stove. This was the 5th stove. It arrived at the correct address but was delivered on an 18 ******* and there was only on man to unload. This is a 235 lb stove. The guy left it in the ***** (about 250 feet from my house) and would not deliver it to my house. Luckily my neighbor has a *** cat and he agreed to come and place the stove on my porch The electrician was at my house yesterday to connect the stove. There was no electric cord for the oven, no gas line, and both sides of the stove are damaged. This has been an absolute nightmare that began in June. I have been a customer of HD for a long time - this is ridiculous! This is terrible customer **********************. I am appalled. I did have a nice lady named *** that was helping me at the end of this ridiculous journey with HD and gave me a credit on the stove but the stove I received is damaged and obviously was a damaged stove when it was boxed because there was no damage to the box. Really? Is this how HD customer should be treated? The Home Depot

1 starI recently ordered the folowing bundle from Home Depot:RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless Compact 2-Tool Combo Kit w/Drill, Impact Driver, Batteries, Charger, Bag, & 95PC Bit Set Instead of receiving this item I recieved only a set of bits. I reached out to their customer ********************** and was told to file a complaint with my bank for a refund! Online, I saw others had recieved the same incorrect order, but when they contacted customer **********************, they were sent the correct items. I reached again to customer **********************. The csr basically alluded that the delivery driver or myself must have stolen the tools! I sent pictures of the box, and labeling showing it was too small to fit anything beyond the bits. The label from the warehouse had a shipping weight of only 8lbs, which is way less than what the bundle would weigh. The *** went on to say that they could tell by the pic from the delivery service that the 12"x 4" box could clearly hold everything! I even sent measurements showing there was no way the correct items could have fit in there. I reached out a 3rd time and was told that since it arrived early, a second box could stil come, but they had no tracking number, I should just wait. Nothing came. I received an email that the same bundle was in back in stock so I ordered a 2nd time, this time having it shipped to store. Figured at worst, I could open it right there in front of the employee and if incorrect, I could return both orders without fear of being called a thief again. That pkg was supposed to be delivered to my local Home depot on 9/12. It's been held at my local Fed Ex since 9/10. I can only guess Home depot requested a hold in hopes I would cancel the order online and their customer ********************** ***s wouldn't have to deal with me. As of now, I've spent over $120 and recived only Ryobi bits, and have been treated like I did something wrong. I have never been treated so poorly by a company, especially one I spend thousands of dollars a years at! J ****The Home Depot
