      Id give 1 star if I could. They scheduled my deliver wrong SEVEN different times and then installed a BROKEN dryer and will not do anything about it. This is robbery.

      I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Home Depot store location in ********** on 9/28. I saw an end cap of garage door openers and a sign for $99 installation. This was a great deal so I purchased the opener. The cashier at the register was unable to schedule the installation at purchase and directed me to customer **********************. There, I spoke with several employees, but none were able to get the install scheduled. They called the manager to assist but he/she never came to the desk to help. After 45 minutes of trying, I gave up and left with the intent to try my luck another day. I went back to the store on Sunday and spoke with the manager who couldnt figure it out and called corporate for assistance, but still no luck. I was then told to call Overhead Door directly to schedule the install and they told me they dont do business with Home Depot and wanted to charge me $300. Now I have paid for a garage door opener and an installation fee but cannot get anyone to actually schedule an install and will have to go back to the store a 3rd time to try and get this resolved. This lack of direction and coordination is extremely frustrating and has wasted a significant amount of my time and I still have no resolution. I feel like I have been scammed.I expected better from a company as large as Home Depot. This experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future. I hope Home Depot takes this feedback seriously and doesnt advertise or sell something it doesnt actually offer.

      Out of sheer frustration, I must express my exhaustion over trying to get a customer agent on the phone. Home ********************** sent me a large refund check sent (thousands of dollars) to the wrong address. After a 1-month investigation, ******** approval, and emails saying we will deposit money into your checking account, then changing their minds I would have to wait 20 business days to receive the check. After getting this info from a customer specialist, the Agent said this is not my department, you would have to call the ************* to see if they canceled the check and ensure they have the right address to resend & get a status update.This happened a week ago, I have called for 4 hours every day & when I finally do get an agent, they are giddy in transferring the call that no one answers or gets placed back into the general loop!! I have left countless voice messages and sent emails with no response! I have easily wasted 20 hours of my time, trying to get a hold of them. There is no one to escalate this issue and it appears no one wants to help! The few times I have been successful in getting someone in Finance, they either cant hear me, ask a lot of questions, put me on hold, or simply hang up!!!Please let me know aside from hiring a lawyer, what I should do in tracking down this check.Exasperated! ********

      I ordered an item online which was a specified quantity(4) and the local store sent in incorrect item count (2). Called the Online Help Desk number for Home Depot and they said to call the store that delivered it directly and they also mentioned that they have noted my order as incomplete. I called the store the following day and the person I talked to at the store said the correct item was delivered which is a 2-pack. I said the order is for a 4-pack and the store should make arrangements to fulfill the order. He said that it is not possible and if they do send it they will charge me for item and delivery. I was surprised that a national chain has such lousy service. I called the national help desk again and they put me on hold to talk with the store to resolve the matter. They assured that the items will be re-delivered. I am really frustrated that I had to go through this issue which should have been resolved in one call. Home Depot needs to take steps to hire workers who are understanding and work with the customer and not be rude and unhelpful and provide explanation of how the items are stored and delivered and the online description is inaccurate and cannot be fulfilled.

      For convenience, we went to Home Depot for a kitchen remodel. We live in a part of ********* where service is sparse. We entered this knowing that things are not going to be perfect. So we were patient. All the people we were in contact with were nice. ( Too many folks in the process, not necessarily knowledgeable enough about the product and very slow to respond for help or information. They always said Im sorry for.. whatever the shortcoming was, but they were nice about it.). That said, most everything from the product, dates of service, installation were not so good. And in the end cost us extra money to correct problems that came up. It took 8 months. If left to Home Depot it still wouldnt have been done and would have looked almost finished . Go somewhere else. You in the long run will be better off.

      Anyone who is considering using home depot for any service, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. My husband and I chose Home Depot to use as our store for remodeling our entire house. Since 2022, we have spent well over 15k with Home Depot. From purchasing a fridge that arrived damage to cabinets that had to be resent 4 times because they kept arriving damaged, they are seriously the biggest headache and have the worst customer ********************** I have ever dealt with. My biggest complaint with them being the window install that we tried to do through them. We ordered a window through them in May of 2024. It was for a door frame that was being converted into a window. Home depot would not complete the general contracting work that was needed to reframe the door into a window so they sent us recommendations for contractors. Not a single contractor that we spoke with from their referral list showed up to give us an estimate. Once we finally got an estimate and the day of the window install came around, the contractors informed us that the entirely wrong window was ordered and they would have to reorder it. We called and spoke to the district install ************ was wildly rude and refused to offer any type of solution except to just "reorder the window and it will get here when it gets here" after waiting 3 months already. We then cancelled our order with them and used a different contractor who had a new window installed in 5 BUSINESS DAYS and HALF THE PRICE. We then found out that home depot lied to us about the type of window we needed to meet code to upsell us. It took 2 full months to get our refund from them. Save yourself time, money, and a headache and go with literally anyone else.

      I've run into various problems at Home Depot in ********, ID a number of times, so I'm finally speaking out. It has to do with the pricing of wooden boards. Yesterday I bought a 6-ft. length of 1x6 poplar board that was marked $14 and change on the tag, only to get to the checkout and learn that it was actually nearly twice that because the price was by the foot and not by the board. Admittedly, I thought that was a low price for that board, but why on earth does the price tag on the shelf not say how the board is truly priced? What if I had loaded my card with a dozen of them? The clerk said it was in the small print on the tag. What small print? Am I supposed to get down on the floor with a magnifying glass to search for fine print? With my knees? Who knew? It may sound like a small thing, but I suppose you could say it was the straw that broke the camel's back. We've been so frustrated by this store so many times that my husband and I have decided that we are done with Home Depot no matter where they are located. Time and time again we've gone in there and either there is not a clerk to be found or they are clueless as how to answer a question. Also yesterday, we asked about in-wall heaters for new construction, and the young man we talked to said they didn't have heaters in yet. Really? In an area that is and has been constantly booming with new construction? He finally found where they were indeed located on his little computer and took us to strip heaters, not the Cadet heaters we'd asked about, although we were able to find them a little further down the aisle. We decided not to buy from them out of the usual worries that the product wouldn't be backed up if anything went awry. Poo on you Home Depot. You are not the only show in town. We're breaking up with you.

      Hired to us company to replace my back door. The door the replaced was faulty caused flooding into my kitchen. My LVP floors had to be dug up and equipment set up so that my brand new home wouldnt get mold. This issue has been going on since June/july 2023. It has been over a year now yesterday my son had to be admitted into the E.R because he tripped over open LVP in the kitchen that was torn up because of the flooding. Home Depot is aware has not contacted me and for a yr has shown little to no interest in rectifying the situation. They have ignored phone calls ignored reports of where the door was leaking and have not made it any priority. The customer ********************** is **** pore to say the least. And now my brand new home that we purchased the kitchen is torn completely apart and they can care less.
