      I purchased an extended warranty plan to cover my appliances that I purchased from the Home Depot. Less than 3 years and lightly used Hotpoint Oven stopped working near the end of October 2024. The warranty is a joke. They require the purchaser to find a technician to fix the appliance and then also pay out of pocket for the repair. They also won't reimburse you if you don't get all the pertinent and itemized information on the receipt from the technician. So it's been a month without an oven. The tech has been out to repair 3 times and was unable to fix it for various reasons. Thanksgiving was ruined and I'm going to have to throw out the food that was meant to be cooked in the oven.Called Home Depot and they won't do anything for my inconvenience/food spoilage. They told me to contact the warranty place who represent themselves as the Home Depot Warranty, but they aren't willing to do anything for me either as of writing this review on 11/29/******* warning to everyone is DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. The appliances won't last beyond 3 years and good luck getting it fixed.

      Horrible customer **********************. I received a gift card for my birthday. I open the gift card envelope and the gift card rips in half because its PAPER. Who makes their gift cards out of paper thats extremely irresponsible. So now you have stolen $75 from my mother and father in law because you will not fix this and make it right. How terrible of a company worth an insane amount of money not to make it right and do the right thing by your customers. Outrageous!

      Run away fast! We purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot. Big mistake. The installers they sent didnt know how to install it and then when they contacted their manager she gave us two options one to cancel the entire order or to have the installation fee refunded and we would have to get a plumber to install it. We chose the second and then they refused to deliver it and took off with our dishwasher stealing the over $1000 dishwasher. We had to call the police over this because it was truly so insane that this occurred the way it did. Called Home Depot Corporate and the store and they both wouldnt do anything but offer a refund, no discount for all of the issues, no trying to just have it simply taken off of the truck and put inside the front door. No they wouldnt do anything. The reason it was being delivered today was to have it by Thanksgiving. Worst customer ********************** ever and now I will forever refuse to shop at that store for anything. ***** will be getting business from now on. DO NOT SUPPORT this business.

      Home Depot and their contractor the orange room are awful. Communication between the two parties is non existent. Im convinced they are in business for the restocking fees. Theyve lost my business forever.

      I purchased ******** 100 inserts for all the windows in our 1950s home. They were installed at the end of July by a Home Depot sub-contractor. The plan was to have ***** ****** siding installed by a different company altogether after the window installation. The windows were not installed correctly as indicated by the city inspection report, which is copied and pasted as follows:"Missing corrosion resistant Z flashing / drip cap above all windows. Metal wrap not sealed at bottom. Like other exterior siding and trim products aluminum wrap projections must have a drip cap/ Z flashing over them and all areas of potential water intrusion at the edges of the aluminum must be sealed with exterior grade sealant."The city inspector states that, according to city code, the window installer is responsible for the above. We, the homeowners, can have the siding installers remove what caulking was improperly and sloppily applied around the windows, but it will cost us an add'l $2,800 out of pocket.I have contacted different entities at Home Depot (in-person, by phone, and email), including the initial project manager, the Bloomington. MN store manager, etc. without satisfactory results. They keep rerouting us back to the window installer who has returned three times as of two weeks ago (the last time to assess the situation) and who has yet to resolve the ********* we are heading into the winter without properly installed windows, with the old original drip-caps and unsealed metal wrap. With winter nearly upon us, we will most likely have water intrusion resulting in damage that ironically would not have occurred had we not had the old windows replaced. There are other unsettling details regarding the entire experience from purchasing the windows (including the salesman reassuring us that Home Depot would stand behind their workmanship) all the way through improper installation, but for now, these are the main issues that are immediately affecting the situation.

      ***** Customer **********************!1st dryer received on 11-7-2024, only worked on timed dry.. Received a 2nd on 11-15-24. Installers damaged venting & then pulled the flex venting from the wall. They tested ****** had to leave for a few days. Came back & put a load in the dryer, was thumping & little air coming out of vent. Found that not only did the installers damage my back venting but pulled the flex venting into the wall. If I would have left it in the wall it would have cause mold in the walls. I ordered new venting & installed, then tried towels in the dryer. It got so hot, would burn your hands if you touched the side of the dryer, thumping & burn smell! Called Home Depot, will not do anything because it past the 48hrs. Should have complained about the install, but after getting 2, I was done with bad installers. I have to call whirlpool direct as ********* will not help me. I'm a pro & will really have to look at where I buy Appliances in the future. How can you use all the cycles on a **** in 48 hrs? Not only bad installers but pool customer **********************. Now I will be without a dryer for about a month,

      Alert Alert!! Forged signature and returned items with no refunds.I purchased the entire house flooring materials with the installation services in July of **************************************** August *********************************************************** the delivery and billing addresses . but when the installer finished the work he stole over 10 boxes of brand new flooring materials and made a huge mess in the house with piles and piles of garbage and then at the end he FORGED my signature and signed as my behalf (I have the forged signed document , he even misspelled my name) and left the key inside the house. few days later I went to the **************** store to return the excessive items (over $800 ) and they told me that their system is down and they cannot give me the refunds at this time but they held the items. up until this day (11/23/2024) I still havent received the refunds yet and they keep on telling me they are investigating but never gets back to me. I have spent hours on the phone with the customers ********************** and fraud department but when they write notes they write wrong information and misguides the next person thats why there is no resolutions.I have also filed a formal complaint with documentations and evidence with the **** and I have the case number if they want to follow up. apparently this is very common for the installer to sign as the customers behalf and steals the new flooring materials. ******************* is the third party who works for Homedepot.

      Employees are clustered together in aisles talking with each other. I had gift cards to purchase with and they told me to use self serve register. Employees left me standing there with register saying " customer needs assistance for many minutes. Employee spoke incoherently after coming up with a price for non barcoded item. I was unable to understand him saying there was still balance after the gift cards were processed. I had to ask questions for him to say yes or no.

      On 11/1/24 I wrote a sincere letter of complaint to *** ******, CEO of Home Depot, against one of their ProReferral contractors. Never even received an acknowledgement. Their contractor damaged my toilet when they performed unauthorized work, which ended up costing me $100 to repair. Home Depot stands behind their contractor. I have been a Home Depot customer for dozens of years and have made purchases of over $30,000, including a $12,000 new roof, $1,000 fridge, and a $900 washer, plus all of my other hardware needs. Customer ********************** starts at the top. Home Depot does not value customer loyalty. Not only will I no longer shop at Home Depot, but I have no faith in any warranty they provide. Deckers behavior is shameful and unconscionable. Apparently, ProReferral does not even vet their contractors since they obviously favor the riff raff that they referred to me, even though he has numerous negative reviews all over the internet, including walking off a job in anger. Going forward, I will now be shopping exclusively at *****.

      I can not believe the stupidity at this place we purchase a shed on a credit card at a year promotion than after 6 months they jack their payment up and than extend it what a mess than charge me two months of a high percentage what a racket. They are loosing a customer which is sad after they say it was an error .Phone customer ********************** ***** and they pocket money bs.
