      I went to Home Depot in ****** Mississippi, to look for a contractor to build and install a new window in my house's brick wall and to also remodel our laundry room. After providing me with a list of contractors, one of the staff members strongly suggested ****** ***** to complete the work. He was the best among the others listed, she said. Needless to say, ****** ended up being the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I will now list what happen: 1.****** locked up out of our home on purpose:We gave ****** a key to the front door when he first started working for us. However, one night, Elisah deliberately locked us out of our house by exiting through the gauge door rather than the one he had the key to. Therefore, in order to regain access to our house, we had to call a locksmith. Again, making us spend more unnecessary money. The reason why I knew ****** meant to lock us out was because earlier that day ****** got upset with me because I had to talk to him about being disrespectful. 2.****** did not install our window correctly: When I first talked to ******, he told me he knew how to build a brand-new window, but he did not. He did such a bad job that my neighbor had to finish the installation (who is a brick *****). I also took pictures of how ****** installed my window for evidence of his horrible work. If anyone would like to see them, please contact me. 5.****** attempted to steal my brick following the window demolition: We fired ****** and enlisted my neighbor to finish the installation. When the contractor inquired about the brick's whereabouts, ****** falsely claimed the waste collectors from my neighborhood had taken it. However, once ****** learned that others and I had witnessed him loading the brick into his truck and driving away, he admitted that the brick was at his house and subsequently returned the bricks. So, now my neighbor was able to properly install my brick window.

      If I could rate zero, I have custom order cabinets and my project is still incomplete more than a year later all on thier mistakes. I've been more than patient but nice guys finish last. I DO NOT recommend any kitchen design by HOME DEPOT as they are not trained but charge prices like they are. This place is a disgrace. Take money and time and get no where. Thanks for nothing home depot. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

      Original delivery scheduled for November 26th, delivery crew chose not to install refrigerator because water line did not have shut off where they wanted. Instead of leaving the refrigerator plugged in so the tenants had a working refrigerator just not a working ice maker they took the entire appliance with them and we were not able to get it back for 2 weeks; 4 phone calls to home depot; and 3 additional delivery dates where the tenants were stuck home waiting. This was the worst decision making and follow through after a mistake was made that I have seen in 20+ years of property management.

      Beyond unsatisfied with my experience with Home Depot and honestly feel as if I was intentionally scammed. I pur*****d two shelves online, and they were defective when they arrived. I got some (what I felt like) was amazing customer ********************** from the help line, where she let me know that I could process the return no problem and that someone would be there to pick up the shelves the next day. I let her know that I no longer had the boxes and she said they would take it as-is. I was blown away with how easy everything felt. That was definitely an intentional fairy tale, lol.The following day, a *** shipping label was left at my front door. No one knocked or anything. This wasn't a huge deal to me. I had one shipping label, as described by my customer ********************** helper on the phone. I went to *** with my shelves and the return label, and had to buy a box to ship them back in. I don't think this was super unreasonable since I was getting a full refund, and I packed both shelves in a large box with the supplied shipping label.Once they received the return, they only refunded me for one shelf. This was also pretty understandable to me, as I'm sure they were swamped and just scanning shipping labels and processing that as a return. I called the hotline, and they let me know they would open an investigation. Since then, they told me that they 'confirmed' I sent just one shelf (even though all my documentation and photos indicate otherwise) and have now successfully extorted $110 from me. Since calling again, they said my request was closed and referred me to the credit card hotline to open up a Home Depot credit card (???). They also told me to dispute it with me bank or to file a claim with *****, even though my label and shipping was through ****All in all, I am confident that this is an intentional wild goose ***** designed to extort money from consumers with the hopes that they'll give up trying to get their full refund. A very duplicitous business practice.

      My wife and I bought a refrigerator and dishwasher through their Black Friday sale. In addition, we signed up for a Home Depot credit card to take advantage of the offer. This offer came with free installation of the new equipment and haul away of the old. When the delivery people arrived today, they told us they wouldn't install it and were going to leave the new appliances on our driveway. We went back and forth, and finally, the delivery driver called his manager, who told him he could install our new equipment and haul away the old equipment if he had time. The delivery driver refused, citing he had too many deliveries to do. So, we declined delivery of our items, as we don't know how to install these things, and called to figure out our options.While on the phone with customer ********************** to make things right, we received an email that our products had been delivered along with a "customer signature" verifying receipt of items. This was not our signature. It was a forged signature. We have a picture of this signature - it is not similar to ours in any way. My wife broke into tears while talking to the customer ********************** agent over the phone. In the end, the company decided not to help us. They refunded our money, told us that we could cancel the credit card, and refused to honor the black Friday deal we originally purchased under. That same set of products is now roughly 80% more expensive than the deal. I'm unsure why Home Depot would refuse to honor installation and haul away. I'm unsure why their delivery driver would forge a signature. I'm unsure why Home Depot would not honor the previous deal and why they would not honor the reason we got a credit card through them. After an hour on the phone with customer ********************** agents telling us that we got our discount and to be happy with what we got, I'm appalled at what I experienced. I would not recommend anyone receive delivery from Home Depot, lest you be put in the same situation we were.

      I went to home Depot for the black Friday sale, went to get a three step ladder special price of $20.00 that day only, was told they were sold out (had the ladder in my hand), I said no this is the one your advertising, same sku everything, was told no it's $45.99 NOT $20.00. I put the ladder back, called customer ********************** and was put on hold, heard someone pick up, waited 5 minutes and bam call was gone. Called back two more times only third time someone answered, I was polite and explained what was going on. His reply was "maybe it's an online only sale". I asked where would I see that statement online for future reference, he said "Oh it doesn't , you have to go to the store to find out from them wether is in store or online only. This is the second time I've been screwed by this company, won't happen again!!!!Seems to me its either fakse advertising or ir bait and snd switch

      Ordered two Husky BITE Impact Nut Driver Sets, one in SAE and one in Metric, using their online ordering system. Home Depot shipped me two Metric and not the ***. When I called them and I called numerous times, they said there's nothing they can do and that I would have to drive to the store to get it swapped out/corrected. I told them that I live an hour drive one way from the nearest store and I don't feel that I should have pay the price to fix their mistake. Once again they said there's nothing they can do, and they even sent me an email stating the same. Since I had to make the trip I returned all items from three orders that I had placed. This gave me enough money to make the trip. They tried to offer an e-gift card, that is not compensation for correcting their error. I called the store and they really wanted to help me out, but they can't because it was an online order. Home Depot needs a complete overhaul with customer ********************** and the online ordering department.

      I ordered two strings of Christmas lights on December5th from Home Depot in *********, ****. I am disabled and unable to shop for myself, I waited all day for my delivery, that never came, they took the money out of my account, but the lights were delivered to the wrong house, I had purchased 2 plastic pails the day before December 4th with absolutely no problem, I received them as promised, but when I saw the picture of the delivery, for my lights I called Mansfield Home Depot, the person at Customer ********************** was very unprofessional, he was munching the whole time he was speaking, not paying attention to my call, I told him I would go elsewhere and to put my refund back on my Debit Card, that didn't happen, I had to call again this morning to request my refund once again, I feel like a dentist pulling teeth, I ordered 2 of the most inexpensive strings of lights and I had to ask the person at Customer ********************** if he refunded the $15.32 to my debit card, he said he had only refunded the price of the lights and not the delivery charge, no one seems to be able to do a simple job anymore.

      Purchased a $50 gift card. The recipient of the card was told that it was defective because when the card was scratched off there was no pin. No assistance was provided to rectify this at the store or after numerous calls by me to the ***** number. After reading about this issue online on numerous sites it seems to be a large problem. Home Depot is getting away with getting peoples money while we get nothing in return.

      Home Depot contracts with easily the worst third party company for appliance deliveries and installs. My delivery was set to be made on 12/4no 30 minute courtesy call was made when the company was on the way, no call was made when they arrived, and I wasted 4 hours waiting for a delivery only to be marked as missed delivery. They couldnt reschedule same day, even though it was their mistake and the Home Depot customer ********************** agent did confirm that there was no documentation that a call was made. They rescheduled my delivery for 12/6. On 12/6 a man showed up to install my new washer and dryer that hasnt even been delivered. I, again, call customer ********************** for Home ********************** and the *** told me that the warehouse forgot to load my washer and dryer onto the truck for the day. Again, delivery for the same day was not possible. customer ********************** offered to reschedule my appliance delivery and install on 12/10. At that point I declined and canceled my entire order. I plan to go to Lowes or Menards instead. I wasted over 8 hours dealing with third party company mistakes and staying on hold with Home Depots customer ********************** agents. Just go to Lowes or Menards and save yourself the time and frustrating of dealing with Home Depots customer **********************.
