1 starThe company itself theyre OK, but they have chosen a very disrespectful and ill mannered insurance company for their appliances. Henceforth why they get a one star rateing, if they decide to choose better I will gladly change my stance.The Home Depot

1 starPaid $5500+ for appliances on sale for Black Friday including ** refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer with pedestals on November 24th 2024all put on our Home Depot card. Our date to deliver and install of December 28, 2024 was later than we wanted (we were told that allowed for some items that were on back order) but since we plan to move into the house in early January we accepted it. We paid a contractor to remove old appliances in preparation so we could confirm electrical etc was ready for the new appliances. Today, 2 days before the delivery date, the day after Christmas, I receive a robo email and text informing me my delivery has been rescheduled to February 17th. As if it meant nothing. That isnt acceptable! I called Home Depot immediately, who said the refrigerator and dishwater were holding up the order. I asked if I could get a partial delivery if those two items were taken off so he deleted them (which he only told me after couldnt be reversed) to see if the date for the rest would move up but the delivery date is still February for the restnot even close to the delivery date that I purchased. He said my only recourse is to cancel and redo the entire orderlosing my Black Friday prices! I spent hours at Home Depot the day before Thanksgiving to choose the right appliances. Now I cannot move into my new home without appliances, and I cant reschedule my move in date. I have no trust left for Home Depots Black Friday sales... or in purchasing any more appliances from them in the future. Now I have to reshop all my appliances at a much greater cost, and that will not be at Home Depot!The Home Depot

1 starOrdered a GE stand up freezer on December 7 2024 and scheduled delivery for December 24th because it was the first day they had available that I was off. Towards the afternoon on the 23rd I had still not received notification of the time window they would have me scheduled for and I had to reach out to them to find out. They got me scheduled for the 24th between 1pm and 5 pm . I get a call on the 24th at 12:11 from the delivery driver stating that they are almost at my home. I tell them that we are not at home yet because they were scheduled to come between 1pm-5pm and that I was heading home and would be there well before my delivery window. We rushed home and arrived 20 minutes BEFORE the delivery window just to have a note on the door and they had left even though the dispatcher said they would wait. This was a terrible example of customer **********************, very unprofessional, obviously they do not care. I called customer ********************** who said they had closed delivery services for the day and could not reach them. I had customer ********************** cancel my order and plan to take my business somewhere better.The Home Depot

1 starRecently we purchased washer and dryer set at Home Depot (Order #: WG76447317). Appliances were delivered by Home Depot. It was a complete disaster. Team did not have appropriate parts and left old washer hoses laying on the floor. Scheduling provided a return visit 5 days after to finish installation. Unfortunately, small water leak occurred due to installer negligence. When we complained, Home Depot appliance hot line blamed us and cancelled installation appointment. After hours of phone calls and attempts to solve this nonsense we were offered $100 for our inconveniences. This marks these new times of horrible customer ********************** and unprofessional installers. We don't recommend Home Depot for your appliances needs.The Home Depot

1 starI will never do business with Home Depot again and you shouldn't either! I purchased a ******* Pellet Grill online and scheduled it for delivery as a Christmas gift for my son. They day it was scheduled to be delivered it never showed up; I called customer ********************** to find out when it would arrive and was told it would arrive the next day. The next day it never arrived, so I called again and was told it would arrive the next day. The next day it didn't arrive, so I called customer ********************** back. They said it was on a truck in route, but they couldn't tell me where or when to expect it, and to call back the next day. I called the following morning and was told it was in transit and would arrive that day by 2:00 pm. It never arrived, and now it is the day before Christmas Eve. I called customer ********************** again; this time they said they did not know where it was but was in transit. They could not tell me when it would arrive, or if it would arrive. I asked for a refund so I could make arrangements to go to a Home Depot store to purchase one in person so I would have it in time for Christmas Day. However, I was told that they would not refund my nearly $800.00, that I had to wait for it to be delivered, then I could take it myself back to a store to request a refund, but they could not tell me when or IF it would arrive so I could return it. So, I'm out almost $800.00; I don't have the gift for my son, and don't have the money to buy another one in the meantime. In addition, I'm physically limited and unable to drive or move the thing myself; hence I was having it delivered. This seems criminal to me and anyone purchasing items from Home Depot online should reconsider and shop at Lowes or Ace Hardware. I will never return to Home Depot after this experience.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot Precinct Line store # ****. I purchased a new 20 cubic feet upright freezer on Black Friday which was delivered December 3rd. Today I went to pull out a Prime rib roast for Christmas dinner and the freezer is 58.8 degrees and all my food is lost. I called the Manager ******* that was on duty and he explained that this is a manufacturer issue at this time. I just wanted a replacement as soon as possible. ******* would not give me any information for a Manager since his Manager was off for the Holidays. Buyer be aware if you purchase an appliance from Home Depot thinking you will be taken care of by normal store practices be aware you will not receive support from Hole Depot. 1 starHome ************************** online order bought stove fridge microwave and dishwasher the fridge is 36in I want to exchange for 33in because the 36 is too big and it wont allow me to put the microwave over the stove and its makin the stove stick out past the wall. Home Depot has a 48 hr window policy after they deliver it that I wasnt aware of and that should be illegal when you spending that kind of money. I dont want my money back I want to exchange for something smaller. The fridge is still new never been plugged up still has plastic on it. I will have to find another company to spend my money with because now Im stuck with a 1048 dollar fridge and 200 dollar over the stove microwave that I cant use.The Home Depot

1 starThis review is for the Home Depot credit card, which I just cancelled today. We have purchased most of our garden/appliance/home repair items at Home Depot for many years, so in November we decided to open a Home Depot credit card account for convenience. Today, weeks later, I received our very first statement that included a late fee, interest, past due amount, etc. When I called to inquire about why there was no statement before this time there was no explanation except to tell me what needed to be paid. I cancelled the card and will be sending them the balance today, which is our usual practice. There are other options, so we will be doing our shopping at *****, Ace, Menards, etc. in the future. Too bad, but they don't value our business so why bother?The Home Depot

1 starI just had shoulder surgery so my wife and I decided to have home depot deliver and install the washer and dryer we had just purchased. My wife took a day off for the install. The first ********** did not attach the dryer vent. They didn't use the proper hardware to put washer on the base so washer could no be leveled and it vibrate so bad we had to hold washer down during rinse cycle. When the ********** left they ran there truck into the ditch next to my drive way and damaged my brick wall and yard. They had to call a wrecker to lift the truck out of the Dutch and put on the roadway. I reached out to them for repairs but know one will get back with me.We called Manager of The home Depot and they sent another crew out to fix washer and ******** wife took another day off for this. When they arrived they took picture and said it was not installed right and left.We drove to The Home Depot and spook with the same manager and now it is a warranty issue so we did what he asked and reach out the the manufacture with no response from ******* wife and I are not able to do this kind of work any more. I can't believe the run around we got from all company's involve. We trusted The Home depot to help us and I am so disappoint in the whole experience with them. Moving forward We will look at of Place we can trust to do business with.The Home Depot

1 starI just bought, brought home and put up my foot Christmas tree from Home Depot. When I unwrapped it, I saw the most pathetic tree ever. Not only is it very skinny -not in a triangle tree shape at all - but half of the bottom limbs are missing. I've had ******* ***** trees before. This is not one of those. This poor tree was massacred. Shame on you Home Depot. I will be back. (I leave 1-star under protest. This transaction does not deserve it.)The Home Depot
