1 starMy wife and I purchased a Maytag washer on 06/05/23 from the Home Depot in ******, Tx. We also paid for a 5 year extended warranty. We had a problem today (02/27/25) with the washer that appears to be mechanical in nature. Trying to reach a live body is almost impossible. If you are one of the lucky ones who gets through to a real person, you almost need an interpreter to understand what they are saying. On top of that, you are asked to trouble shoot the problem yourself using unclear instructions they email you. We will never buy an extended warranty again and will shop other stores if we need a new appliance. What an absolute disaster the extended warranty plan is at Home Depot. Dont waste your money!The Home Depot

1 starI purchased a black carpet on 2/9/2025. Delivery date was set for 2/13/2025. I was sent a red carpet. I contacted Home Depot on 2/15/2025 and left a message for ********* around 2:30pm. No return call until 2/17/2025. I contacted ********* again on 2/17/2025 by phone and 2/25/25 and I spoke with ***** who said that my carpet had been shipped. I called today 2/27/2025 and was told that my carpet was being shipped in 3 day. I have waited 2 weeks for a delivery. I need my merchandise by 3/1/2025. No one seems to be able to give me the correct carpet that I order or answers as to where is my carpet. ********* was supposed to order my carpet on 2/17/2025. It was not ordered on this date. I spoke to **** on 2/25/25 and 2/27/2025. Says that he will be ordering my carpet. I do not think my carpet was order at all. I had to pay $55.00 for deliver. I called the corporate office in ******* and was hung up on 4 times. No results. NO one gave me their name. This is such an inconvenience. ******* customer **********************. No one seems to know anything. Just passing me around. I would like a refund of this transaction due to incompetent Home Depot Associates. 1 starWe bought an above oven microwave with installation. We paid the charges in full when the store ordered the appliance. When it was delivered the oven was damaged beyond repair. We were given a new delivery date that was 3 weeks away. The oven was never even taken off the truck. The original purchase was only 7 days. We cancelled the order and were told we could not get a refund until they verified the oven was indeed returned. We never even had the machine removed from the truck! We were told we would not get our money back until 3-5 business days after verification of the return. This is poor customer service and borders on dishonesty. 1 starI purchased a dish washer on Feb. 5th, 2025 in *********, ******* and was told it would be delivered and installed on Wed. Feb. 19th between 1:30 and 5:30. After waiting all day I got a call at 4:00 from *** at *************** who said they went in the ditch and it took 3 hours to get out. He said they couldn't deliver it till Mon the 24th.I then called the Kalispell Home Depot as it didn't make sense why they couldn't deliver it the next morning. They told me that it had never been picked up (I was lied to) and they said they would see what they could do. They called back and said it was rescheduled to be delivered Fri. Feb. 21st between 10 am and 2 pm. Again I waited all day and finally called Home Depot and they said they would find out what happened. They called *************** and were told it was now scheduled it was for Tues. the the 25th as they don't deliver on Sun. or Mon. (lied to again).I then called *************** and was told now it was scheduled for Thur. the 27th. I believe this was done because I complained. They told me to call Home Depot if I had a complaint. I called and asked to speak with the store manager and was put through to ****. He went on to tell me that there was nothing that could be done as *************** is a third party contractor that they had no control over.Come to find out *************** is a Home Depot owned company! How convenient to create a Firewall as insulation for POOR SERVICE.I cannot understand this level of animosity towards a customer. This maybe the worst I have ever been treated and wish I could cancel the $1300 but we need a dishwasher. At this point we still don't have it.Home Depot is obviously TOO BIG TO CARE!The Home Depot

1 starI went to my local Home Depot to check out the air conditioning systems and they send out a company called **********************************. We bought two air units, water softener and a hybrid water heater and we have never had more issues in our home with these units. DO NOT buy from them!!! They are great at the sales point but the only sell faulty units. My Rheem hybrid unit was $3500 and it stops working every other month. I had a regular unit before and it broke after 15 years of service. One of my air conditioning units leaks since installation and I have water damage because of it. I regret using this company.The Home Depot

1 starSometimes Home Depots ******** online credit card services work. Most of the time I log on to make a payment it just continuous loads. As a prior IT specialist, yes, I have tried everything. Still nothingI can do this over a number of days leading up to my due date and still nothing. I end up having to call to make a payment. ******** and Home Depot need to figure out this glitch as I am not the only customer that experiences this problem.The Home Depot

1 starI purchased a dishwasher from the Home Depot on S. Kingshighway and paid for it to be delivered, installed and the old one taken away. The day for all this to occur was scheduled for the same date.After appliance is dropped off delivery people say a plumber will have to install it. I call Home depot to find out when and am surprised to be told that the plumber isn't coming for another two days. I tell him that's not what I scheduled and paid for. I paid for it to be installed on the date of delivery and this is unfair, a waste of my time, not what I paid for and that I'm not even available in 2 days for the installation, After several phone calls I'm essentially told that they can't do anything to get the appliance installed on the day agreed. They can't change anything. I would have to wait 2 days for a plumber to install it, and it didn't matter what that I had plans for that day. If it conflicted with my schedule, I would have to wait even longer for the installation. They wouldn't work with me. I was left with no other options but to ******* in the meantime the dishwasher sits in the middle of my kitchen and I'm stuck with a broken older dishwasher for another two days and I wasted a morning on the phone trying unsuccessfully to get Home Depot to honor the agreement I paid for. I also have to cross my fingers that the installation occurs as planned and no more unforeseen problems occur. Don't purchase appliances from Home Depot.The Home Depot

1 starthey need to fire a lot of people at their Federal Way store. i called about a product . i let the phone r*** for 6 minutes before i decided to hang up. if you go into the store and ask where to find a product, they are to busy BS *** with other employees to answer questions. if you wait for the fish*** stories to get done. they just walk away from you. if you interupt they answer in a very rude manner.. if you look online their website says a product is in stock. but check with a online **** its not there Which is it people.. CUSTOMERS ARE NOT IMPORTANT TO THIS RETAILER. my recomendation. dont waste your time on home depot. Lowes is right across the street, and they have great customer **********************The Home Depot

1 starWe are doing a kitchen renovation and ordered both a dishwasher and a range from Home Depot through our contractor. When Home Depot arrived to make the delivery, they discovered they had lost our range. Lost it. They couldnt find it in the truck or warehouse and didnt provide any update until the following night. When they finally did call, they advised they would deliver it the next day between 3-7pm (without offering any other time frame to accommodate my schedule now that our contractors are gone since the rest of the job is completed). The deliverers then arrived before their scheduled time window then left because I was not home at that time. They made no attempts to contact me before delivery or to reschedule. When we reached out to them, they advised it would be 5 more days at the earliest before they could attempt to redeliver and wont give me a time frame (of which I still will not have any day in) more than 24 hours in advance. It is ridiculous to have such delivery policies for items that require a customer to be present, and I am particularly upset at the lack of customer ********************** when they are at fault for losing my product and the failure to deliver it initially in addition to the lack of communication. I will not be purchasing any appliances from them in the future.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot pitched us and sold us on a beautiful kitchen with a FIVE (5) day job with a quote of almost $23,000. What we got was a terrible job by the 1st crew of 5-6 men, that required a complete tear down by the 2nd crew of 1 man, who stated to us, THEY DIDNT FOLLOW THE PLANS. This cluster of a job took up 8 days and another 5 days for the correction. A massive inconvenience that required I EMPTY out my cabinets & PUT EVERYTHING back.. TWICE.After the 1st crew left we discovered many issues: DOORS: had wrong size hinges causing doors to swing wide open hitting wall, hitting each other, hitting fridge. Several side by side doors didnt align. One was inch lower than others. Several doors were installed crooked. One door had a sharp corner edge. Looked to me like it may have been dropped.DRAWERS: TWO sets when in the open position hit. HANDLES on **************** were installed crooked; Vertically and Horizontally. GOOP *************** was dropped all over top of fridge, stove top handles, microwave STOVE: k**** were NOT covered up Now I have issues with front right burner.WASHROOM DRYER: Machine got pushed too far back into the wall and kinked the gas line.CABINET GLASS DOORS REPLACED: 4 doors w/ glass were changed to solid wood/material - But shelves were not installed on one.CABINET SHELVES/WALLS/CEILING/COUNTERS/APPLIANCES ************* left everywhere.HOLES holes were left in frames where old hinges were removed because new holes were drilled to install NEW hinges in new location. (Now they just look tacking and unfinished with holes)PIECE OF WOOD CUT SHORT a 90 inch long strip of wood at one end was cut short, about 1/4 inch too short and the gap was filled with white calking, and at the other end a extra piece of wood was not cut right.HD decided to redo the ENTIRE job. But we were still left with 4 projects; Repair our burner, Paint the wall panel, Clean all walls of dust, Patch up or replace the chipped tyle.The Home Depot
